Week 14 Day 92 | 21/07/2022: I think these girls are ready! But I will still wait until the end of the week to cut them down together with the other two. Although I am thinking of cutting down one of two stems to start drying some early.. I'll see Day 93 | 22/07/2022: No time today Day 94 | 23/07/2022: Watered the girls today with just 1.5L of water. The temperatures have dropped thankfully so it's not too hot for them now. I've also decided to cut down one stem from Jackie to start drying it early. Since we're gonna be moving I wanted a little bit to dry beforehand. Day 95 | 24/07/2022: The girls definitely look like they need to be harvested right now. Just a few days left! Day 96 | 25/07/2022: The leaves have gone purple! I think that's because they are way over-ripe ;D Although I must say the buds are more on the smaller side... Also I decided not to water them anymore so they can dry up a bit before harvest in 3 days! Day 97 | 26/07/2022: Day 98 | 27/07/2022: Day 99 | 28/07/2022: Today was the big day! (for the girls and for myself) So the only thing I did was tidied up the foliage by removing all the fan leaves, cutting the girls at the base and handing them in the tent. I find that the remaining leaves really help keep the moisture at a higher level and they tend to smell less like hay. I will be leaving the girls to dry for about 10 days, and then I always put them into glass jars to cure! I would have ideally harvested these girls earlier but maybe this will make it a super strong smoke. Can't wait to smoke (vape) them!

Flowering week 1: Well an odd affair with the Herz .o.g being a week actually in flower and stretching while the other 2 are just starting to hit flowering. I will keep track and try not to confuse the journal count too much.lpl After last weeks update, I had a busy time dealing with the fungus gnat issue. Thankfully the powder I bought took care of the pot surfaces and is still working on the emerging adults at the moment. The sticky yellow traps are catching a few escapees and hopefully this will eventually kill them off altogether. Seeinf the amount of them rapidly increase on the surface gave me the creeps but also had me worried about the amount them each one would already have laid so many eggs on the soil. Horrible little gits.... Herz O.g has has a good week of growth due to stretch. she has a tall and skinny sativa look to her so I will need to be mindful of how tall she tries to go. She looks nice and healthy with only 2 or 3 bud sites to each growing limb. I think she will need some tying into place to get the best from her. Strawberry Cola is only just showing signs of flowers in her growing tips but her bracts hairs are visible to shownher gender thankfully. She isnt as tall and stretchy as the Herz.og but has more of an indica look to her. She is a more squat looking plant and has some very nice potential mains to play with. Monster Mash has shown flowers for a few days now so is between the 2 other girls for timing. Like the Strawberry , she is smaller in size but has some very nice looking leaves to power her in stretch. I removed some lower small growth and leaves to open the bottom of her up a little before the bushyness starts. lol I am keeping them happy using megacrop alongside the living soil and will also be using shogun products as they finish their stretch period. Another happy week for the exotic girls and now we get to see what they can do in flowering. If they are anything like the Mango cream I am running , I am in for a treat. ... Be safe growmies and keep it green and clean.

Heya Farmers. Lots of growth this week, as you can see in the video I had to do a ton of LST and defoliation! This strain had a lot of hype surrounding it in the community, but here on growth diaries most of the plants looked rather small and flowered after 2 weeks, I'm glad mine seems to be a bit bigger! she also already smells amazing, this early! I'm a little scared as shes still quite short, but if I can get dense little buds, I prefer that over stretchy airy sativas, so I suppose I should be happy, but still, so dense, so much foliage. Hope you join along to see how her flowers turn out, she's already showing some color in the tips of her flowers My Flower lights: https://marshydro.eu/products/mars-hydro-ts-1000-led-grow-light/?ref=BelgianBudtender My Veg lights: https://marshydro.eu/products/mars-hydro-ts-600-led-grow-light/?ref=BelgianBudtender Coupon code BelgianBudtender for 3% off

Buds stacking up nicely. Did some overdue trimming/defoliation to help with light and airflow. They are some thirsty girls. Looks like I've got all 3 phenotypes of this strain represented: short and bushy, thin and wispy, and Original Recipe. I'm not sure which is which. Meh. I'm optimistic regardless.

+=+=+=+=EDIT=+=+=+=+ Found a bunch of mini pollen sacks on plant #3 [Yellow], only started looking for them after I saw what appeared to be a seed and in turn was a immature seed in plant #1 [Blue], I think I have #3 Yellow and #2 Red clones left so will have to kill off the yellow ones when I get to it. I left exotic seeds know their plant went off, will see what they say about it. +=+=+=+=EDIT=+=+=+=+ ok, not a lot is happening this week. Plants are doing well and bulking up. after checking this morning they are also much greener then yellow. So the top dressing and added calcium is helping. likely more so the immediate nitrgron from the calcium as its calcium nitrate. Hopefully it won't get to much from the other amendments as I added in more IF then before and less 2-8-4 I think they have about 3-4 weeks left now, so entering the end of its life soon. I definitely think I messed up this grow a bit, mainly when it was transitioning to flower I feel I needed to double the feed vs split it out over 4 weeks and add in some sulphur to the soil to keep the PH down when making it in veg, It does not matter how much PH down I am using they are still going high from the goal I am trying to hit. I just want it sitting more aorund 6.5 vs 7-7.5. Plant number 3 or "Yellow" is really the best out of them all. bigger plant, more buds, more frost and healthy looking. I think this might be because plant number 1 "Blue" was just a bit setback by some root issues but it still is not overly frosty its like 1 is worst 3 is best and 2 is a mix of them both. just bad to good left to right. I'm also curious to take some clones from the other plant back at my parents but I know I don't need em, just want to know if it smells any better then the current ones. I want to get strains that really smell and taste amazing. Having 2nd thoughts about making this all into bubble hash. Might save a oz or two for friends as buds to compare to the hash I want to make from this. Speaking of the the small plant I gave to my parents, it started to enter flower, they are going to have to transplant it into the backyard in full sun soon. so it will be going thought a weird reveg period then back into flower end of summer. If I go home and visit I will likely have to do this for them. They have it in the same pot that I sent it to them in and gave it a feeding of miracle grow 20-20-20 and that's great for some NPK, but it does not have any micros or secondary macros. Thank that's about it, last week had a bit more details involved and the music on the videos is a bit much but I am liking it. Video games soundtracks for the win. Big shoutout to Medic Grow for sponsoring the lighting in my tent, They have provided me with 2x Mini Sun 2's in the 240w configuration, They use the v1 growing spectrum that is a all purpose seed to harvest spectrum so their is no hassle of switching it mid grow. Day 37 - Everything looks good.... they are drinking so much.... i built a bit more stable light setup, and i'll need to buy afew more plugs and stuff, to fill it out ...... i organised all the 2700k globes, ready to swap in..... still waiting on the exhaust fan, so i'll keep em in "grow" mode another week or 2 .... i'm vaping a leaf or 2, and drinking "green tea hot chocolates" .... it is so delicious in hot chocolate .... my health has picked up since starting the vape/drinks... the 21 thc/19 cbd is supa healthy ... Day 38 - Getting them ready for Flower, noticed they are lacking in nutrients, so i started em on the heavier dutch master gold flower nutrients. Day 40 - Added some pics. (they look droopy because they in night mode, just turned on lights for pic) - Started them on 12/12 flower, still working on getting all the lights, gear, and globes, for the right spectrum and amount of light.... atm got - 7x 2700k (click) , 2x 6400k (osram), + 60w light panel .... i'll go get some more gear today and hope to expand it to 10x 2700k , 2x 6400k ...... I put the exhaust filter fan on seperate power, so it doesn't go on/off with the timer, but stays on all the time.... it totally fixed up any odour problems, haha ....... Added some different pics for my light spectrum ... etc..... the outside winter temp is now at 40-60oF (5-15oC) so with the 12/12h, the temp inside the tent is dropping to 60-80oF (18-22oC), abit low, but flowering is supposed to be in winter, so idk, see how it goes..... I'm new to growing, so idk how this will work out....... just working it as i go.... i noticed afew spots on a leaf, so i upped the neuts abit more, they are still drinking like fish, huge amounts.... Day 40 late - new vids - Got the extra gear and installed it all... redesigned the initial setup, refined it with proper measurements, had to get my steel rule out, lol....... got the 12 leds in and running, 10x 2700k clicks, and 2x 6400k osrams, with the panel..... it's lookin beautiful and got the exhaust on 24 hrs now, all working perfect with 12/12 timer.... they are forming a few spots on leaves, so hammering the nute water into them now... they are drinkin 1-2 litre of nute water a day each.... (nute water = Dutch mater gold one grow/flower, 800-1000 ppm 6 PH) 😎 Some details about lights.... i did some maths on it, and included some handy pics..... because i'm using cheap leds, i'm keeping the distance at 25cm, they are leds so they won't burn, and it massively increases the lumens/lux/Par, and with my home built light setup, the leds are spread out enough to keep it lower.... worked out good..... something of note is that all the led globes are built/made in china... however different marketing/selling companies from around the world... and the german osrams are 1w leds ... by far the most superior, but anyone can design and send the requirements to china to build em, haha) it's not a contest, we all work together.... haha.... the person with the best led light globes gets my business, because i want the best for my babies.... :) (let me explain- 1w led vs 0.5 w led, the watt of the led projects the light, lumens, LX/PAR etc much further the higher the watt of the led....my 600w panel has 0.5w leds, the philips has 0.75, the osrams have 1w leds..... ) each globe philips (dutch)- 10.5w internal - 14 leds 0.75w 1055 lumens each globe osram (german)- 10.5w internal - 10 leds 1w 1080 lumens each globe click (cheap)- 9w internal - 16 leds 0.56w 800 lumens light panel - 70w - 600w 30 red - 8 red 12 blue - 8 white 7500k 1 ir - 1 uv = 20x blue 6400k - 38x red 2700k internal - 60 double leds - 120x0.5w 6000 lm

She’s a thick one! Looking pretty good. I top dressed her with a 4 teaspoons of epson salt. She’s showing signs of magnesium deficiency. I’m still nervous she was pollinated by the Blackberry moonrocks that I had to cut down early. So I’m checking her several times daily.
