This week went pretty good, the flowers are getting super sticky and smell amazing, but they're packing on quite as much weight as I hoped. I had a friend over who told me it looked like I was growing a tree in a solo cup, so I think I might run these same genetics back next and pot her up from a solo cup to a 3 gallon pot, get the manifold built, then pot up to a 12.5 gallon air pot. I am going to take the wife on a couple vacations or "holidays" as most of you would say. But yeah I plan to run the same genetics, same training, same lights, everything and see what kind of difference a larger pot alone can make. Grow Diary – Day 73 (Flowering Day 53) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Green House Feeding – Bio Grow & Bio Bloom Date: May 24 (Saturday) Status: Entering final ripening – harvest approaching At Flowering Day 53, the Sour Frootz plants are now in the late flowering phase, showing strong signs of maturity. Buds are fully formed, tight, and heavily coated in resin. Trichome development has peaked visually—most heads are now cloudy, with a noticeable rise in amber trichomes, especially on upper colas. The aroma is intense and complex: sweet, citrusy fruit mixed with sour funk and subtle earthy undertones. The terpene expression is at its most volatile, and the flowers are sticky to the touch. Some larger fan leaves are beginning to fade, showing natural senescence—primarily a gentle yellowing, with no signs of stress or deficiency. Nutrient Program: • Still running Bio Bloom, though it can now be tapered or discontinued if you plan a light flush. • Bio Grow is no longer active at this stage (breakdown complete), but residual nutrients are sustaining the plant. Watering is now more moisture-controlled to avoid excess humidity near dense colas, reducing mold risk. 3/28 - I moved her up to the flower chamber to give her more space to grow height. I think 1 week in here with veg schedule and then I can flip over to flower. I will be removing some shoots crowding things up and probably a good deal of fan leaf cleanup as well She got watered, I think moving here up made her jump back to life 3/30 - flush feed 4/1 - flush feed

🌱 GERMINATION (4 days) Seed in a glass of EC 0.4 tap water for 24 hours, then in root riot and under the lamp. She sprouted 4 days from dry seed. 🌿 GROWING STAGE (12 weeks) I decided to grow this plant with a long vegetative period, this allowed me to do a lot of training and try something more than the usual defoliation and LST. Starting from the 5th veg week I started my training, I FIMmed the main and carried out a defoliation sessions once/weeks for three weeks. During the last weeks of vegetative growth (week 10-12) she got significantly more intense training, a lot of branches and leaves were removed in order to allow the lower parts of the plant to get as much light as possible. I also topped several branches. Due the size of the plant, on week 12 veg I decided to halve its size by bending all the branches that had passed the first lollipopping phase. To support the plant during recovery from SuperCropping I mounted the ScrOG-net, which will also allow me to keep those branches low. I must confess that it was very satisfying to push this plant to the limit and then watch she recover in just a few days. Height at the end of the veg stage: 55 cm. During the veg stage PH was always between 5.5 and 6, about EC I started with 0.8 and was 1.7 on the last veg week. 🌸 FLOWERING STAGE (10 weeks) I started this phase after 48 hours of darkness, Then changed the DWC solution for transition. I focused the training on the first 4 week flowering, mostly LST and defoliation, then mounted another scrog to support and open the canopy even more. Stretching stopped during week 4 of flowering, doubling in height despite bending branches through the scrog-net during the transition phase. She showed pre-flowers around 20 days after the switch. I also collected about 5 grams of finger hash after the trimming session. ✅ CURING Curing is done after 60 days with Boveda 62%. 💯 SMOKE REVIEW After 60 days of curing, buds look frosty and shiny! Due the trichomes stage when I harvested, effects are definitely on the sativa side. After smoking it I feel euphoric and in a good mood, I will smoke it mainly during the day. As for the flavor, I can detect some pungent and earthy notes, very consistent smoke. It reminded me of my years in Germany, when we would drive to Holland to stock up on White Widow 😍

Week 4 - Sometimes You Got To Lose To Gain Phase 2 - I took off the fan leaves so that the plant would redirect its energy into the stem and branches rather than the leaves. I also cut of the top heads so that the energy would go into the development of the 2 heads below.

Day 43 purpling petioles is back. Root zone ph tests are perfect 5.9 6.0. She is fed at only 650 ppm on constant drip feed. Anything higher and was seeing some tip burn. May try low low low dose pk boost. I've read up on adding at 1/8 strength and feed middle 3 weeks can help. Think I'm going to give it a shot next reservoir change. Day 44 res change. Implemented Canna PK boost at 10% strength. Filled res with 2 gal. Will monitor plants signals. A couple bottom leaves yellowed and died. Not concerned as the leaves where well below canopy and low light conditions. Day 45 .75 gal consumed. All is well Day 46 she drank another 3/4 gal last night. Maintenance flush completed. Adjusted fan to above canopy and while doing so my hand inadvertently brushed against a bud and she smells of pure lemon candy at the moment. Stunning. Day 47 another 3/4 gal gone and the top of the coco had a few dry splotches. She's out drinking my feeder. I may have to add a second carrot to the pot. Day 48 she drank a gal last night. I think I finally got her flowering nutes dialed back in. Initial runoff ppm coming out same as going in. Overall appearance strong and healthy. Added 3 gal to res. Day 49 checked her at lights on and she was bone dry. Somehow got an air bubble in the drip line. Immediately drenched her. she looks fine. Fingers crossed. Added some pics/vids of some propagators that I'm playing around with. No MJ yet, but its spring and planting my herbs and veggies.

420Fastbuds FBT2304/Week11 Weekly update on these beautiful girls. They're getting super close to getting the chop. They smell like a candy factory when taking a sniff. Flowers are super dense to the touch and sticky as can be. Started getting the fade on the bigger one but expected this far into flower. I did do a defoliation taking of some of the bigger leafs during the final week. I really can't wait because I'm starting to see some amber trichs, so I'll wait until I see about 10% before chopping.
