Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. Day one of flower for the London Pound Cake and Purple Shah. I moved the Blueberry Muffin into another veg tent for a week or two. They’re early finishers so when I move them back everything should harvest around a similar timeline. Fed them all with an Organic Alf Alfa seed sprout fermentation. The triacantanol in the Alf Alfa makes these things go crazy if you don’t overdo it. Add some coconut water and aloe and youve got yourself organic plant steroids. The growth rate will cause you to have an increased need for ca mg and nutrients which in organics may not be readily available. Top dress or feed ahead of the curve.

Smooth trim and harvest, very time-consuming. I think we spent over 8 days working on the autos. Now I can rest until early September.

Hi guys, as we are in isolation I thought it would be a good time to try and grow my own weed so got my self a 1.2 x1.2x2 tent 600w hps light and all the shogun nutrients I’ll need. Also running a 4” carbon filter system. I did some research on the best way to start autos and I went with just planting them straight into there final pots on 18/4/20 the medium I am using is already charged so using just 6.8 ph water with the light been on 24hrs. All 3 seeds Sprouted in 72hrs. Going to keep the light on 24hrs for another 4 days then will switch to 18/6 in week 2. Was struggling with low humidity a couple of days in, so purchased a humidifier which seems to have helped bring it up to between 60- 75%. Also adapted the clean air intake to my tent so it’s bringing in cool out side air. Can’t help but keep on checking on them like a kid in a sweet shop 😂.

It's about week 6 I guess, I don't know. Pheno 1: 2 short ones with great smelling medium sized buds. Fast Pheno 2: looks like a nice producer, very frosty, nice growth, keeping an eye on this one. Slowest of the bunch but not a slow plant by any means Pheno 3: woah, THC bomb! The frostiest plant in the house. Also seems like a fast one Great smells Quite excited for these awesome plants from Zambeza! Catch you before harvest time for some nicer pictures

Added Exhale c02 and top dressed in each pot with 1 tablespoon per gallon of growing medium my pots are 3.6. I added 3 tablespoons. It is my hopes that with adding the slow release dry amendments and once the c02 bag sarts growing my plants will finally grow. They are short but have 4 nodes at day 21. What is an exhale c02 bag? “The ExHale bag is a patented strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting. This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 6 months - guaranteed!” At day 25 I am not impressed with the size of these girls? Hope they hit a growth spurt soon? Their internodes are stacked very nicely. At day 28 growth is very slow. Practically none existent since my top dressing at day 23. 2 plants have received a very minimal nutrient burn. As I do not have a soil ph tester? I will be watering with a ph of 6.0 rather than 6.5, hopefully that helps. ONWARD!

I was selected to test some of Fastbuds new genetics. Seeds germinated in 48hrs and 4 days later it broke ground and hasent slowed down. This grow is in my 4x4ft grow space located in an uninsulated shed. Each plant has a dedicated 150-200w LED from Viparspectra or Mars. Winter Temps in my area spike to -15C or more in Jan and Feb, so this will be an interesting and challenging grow. The grow room is 20-30C above ambient temperature, so there is a little manual and auto manipulation of grow Temps. Sie haben das Umtopfen ganz gut überstanden. Eine von den dreien macht ganz gut los. Die anderen beiden haben wohl noch etwas Stress durch das Umtopfen. Alle 3 sind Samen der selben Genetik aber selbstverständlich auch verschiedene Phenotypen, sie werden auf jeden Fall unterschiedlich wachsen und aussehen. Ich finde aber No-till besser als Stecklinge und je besser der Züchter um so weniger Phenos 😉 Wir werden sehen... 😎
