Hello fellow growers, I am pleased to start this new journey with you. I am also particularly excited since I am going to grow a Mephisto Genetics strain for the very first time, the famous Double Grape. I know you shouldn't believe the hype, as Public Enemy used to say, but it's hard to ignore the dithyrambic reviews when it comes to Mephisto. I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and it was popping out 3 days later. Right now the seedling is under my Mars Hydro TS1000, brightness set at 25%, lights are 80cm away. During my last grows I set it up to the max at all stages of growth, this time I decided to proceed differently and increase gradually. Please let me know in the comments if you think I should just push it to the max right away. I would like to thank HESI nutrients team for sending me a great Starter Pack! I'm quite impressed by this week's development. She is starting to show her fatness. I did a flush at the beginning of the week and it helped a lot. Now I'm starting to give her less and less nuts, as she shows obvious tip burns and quite gark green leaves. I believe she will be ready in no more than 8 weeks of flower.

2nd week of flowering, just showed the sex almost 80% of the plants. Pruning time, alga bloom time. Try to solve the height problem betweem the using some plates.

Great week. The ladies are healthy and happy. Thick and strong branches. Nothing to complain about at all. End of week 4. Should be nice ones if all goes well

These girls are exploding! Flower came so fast, they are all showing need for more phosphorus and potassium, while at the same time showing nutrient burn at the tips, Jebus, save me! Lol . Overall, no complaints. A few more weeks to go!

After all research of why plants are going at different rates the only conclusion Conclusion I’ve come to is to do with the fan being too close to the top left Plant and the Seeds to come from different plants but same strain. Will need to go back to royal queen seeds to ask the question??? Leaf burn from wind burn can slow growth of plants

cada dia mas glotonas mis bellas, estoy aplicando riego casi día por medio, solo una vez a la semana las abono, el resto solo con agua. hice algunos amarres a los tutores ya que están en pleno crecimiento

The growth has continued to explode using all organic ingredients. Been using an aerated compost tea with worm castings every other watering. Used coast of main soil with buildasoil dry amendments plus some coast of Maine bloom.

Flush time!!!!!! Starting flush EC was 9.6 I’ve been flushing for 1 week and will go at least another full week. All the trichromes are cloudy with very little amber. This seems to be the hardest part of the grow for me…timing the flush with trichrome color. I’m ok with a little more amber than cloudy tho, so it will work out. So I’ll flush the plants once at the beginning of the flush period, to the point where there is gallons of runoff. Then I’ll feed like normal with zero runoff for the next full week. Gotta let the plants eat the nutrients in the substrate not just wash them out. Im starting to using organic blackstrap molasses with water and one time just ph water.So im doing that for a week and then last week im flushing with only water

finally they are in flower! Yay final foliar spray applied. They are still smelling like chocolate and peanut butter. Did not get 1 drop of rain this week. It is getting so frustrating plants are 1/4 what they should be this year.

🌿 Grow Diary – Tag 84 | Blütetag 24 „Radikaler Haarschnitt, erste Harzschicht … und die Schädlingspolizei dreht wieder ihre Runden“ Diese Woche war klar: Schere raus – untenrum einmal Kernsanierung. Die Ladies wurden ordentlich gelollipopped und ich hab wirklich nicht gekleckert. Der Eimer war am Ende randvoll mit Schnittresten. Alles, was unten nur Energie klaut oder im Schatten gammelt, ist beinahe konsequent rausgeflogen. Ab jetzt geht die komplette Kraft nur noch in die Tops. Die Kush hat mir dabei kurz den Puls hochgetrieben. Etwas instabil im Aufbau, beim Schneiden halb auseinandergefallen – ich durfte erstmal wieder puzzeln, welche Triebe ich eigentlich behalten wollte. Kurz Zelt-Chaos … aber wieder eingefangen. 😄 📏 Höhe & Stabilität Der Stretch ist jetzt offiziell vorbei. Endhöhe: ca. 1,10 Meter – besser hätte es fast nicht laufen können fürs Setup. Viel höher und wir hätten Licht-Tetris spielen müssen. Zur Stabilisierung hängen jetzt überall Pflanzen-Jojos. Diese kleinen Rollen mit Nylonschnur, die die Äste sanft hochziehen und schwere Buds stützen. Schön gleichmäßiges Blätterdach, nichts kippt weg, alles entspannt. Echt kleine Gamechanger. 🌸 Blütenentwicklung Jetzt startet die eigentliche Show: Buds stapeln sich sichtbar erste Trichome / Harzbildung leichter, süßer Duft im Zelt Man merkt richtig: 👉 Produktionsmodus aktiviert. Jeden Tag ein bisschen frostiger. Ernährung & Feintuning Allerdings zeigen sie langsam klar: 👉 Phosphor- & Kaliumhunger Die BioTabs-Tabletten waren top für den Start, aber in der intensiven Blütephase einfach etwas zu träge. Plan: Mikroben pushen → Bodenleben aktivieren moderat PK nachdüngen → Blütenaufbau unterstützen Ein kleiner Schub, damit die Buds richtig Masse machen. 🐛 Reality Check: Nervensägen-Alarm Und ja … natürlich gibt’s auch die weniger glamouröse Seite des Grows. Tripse und Trauermücken zum Beispiel. Doppelt hält leider nicht besser. 😅 Tripse → silbrige Fraßspuren auf den Blättern Trauermücken → kleine schwarze Nervflieger über der Erde Nichts Dramatisches, aber einfach maximal lästig. So dieses typische: „Könnt ihr bitte einfach verschwinden?“ Werden natürlich beobachtet und in Schach gehalten – aber eingeladen war hier definitiv keiner. ✅ Wochenfazit Lollipopping erledigt ✔️ Stretch durch ✔️ Höhe perfekt bei 1,10 m ✔️ Jojos stabilisieren alles ✔️ Harz & Buds starten durch ✔️ Tripse nerven ✔️ Trauermücken nerven leider genauso ✔️ Unterm Strich trotzdem: richtig guter Fortschritt. Jetzt heißt’s wieder: füttern, beobachten, feinjustieren – und zuschauen, wie aus den Ladies langsam kleine, klebrige Harzmonster werden. The ladies got a proper lollipopping session, and I definitely didn’t go easy on them. By the end, the bucket was completely full of cuttings. Everything down low that only steals energy or sits in the shade had to go. From now on, all power goes straight into the tops. The Kush caused a bit of drama though. She’s slightly unstable structurally and basically fell apart while pruning, so I had to puzzle together which shoots I originally wanted to keep. Short chaos in the tent… but fixed. 😄 📏 Height & Support Stretch is now officially over – finally. Final height: around 1.10 meters, which is pretty much perfect for the tent. Any taller and we’d be fighting the lights. To keep everything stable, I installed plant yo-yos everywhere – those retractable supports with nylon strings. They gently pull branches upward, support heavy buds, and keep the canopy nice and even. Small tools, big impact. 🌸 Flower Progress Now the fun part really starts. You can see it every day: buds stacking up first visible trichomes/resin light sweet smell filling the tent That moment when you open the zipper and think: 👉 “Alright… production mode activated.” Each day gets a little frostier. Nutrition & Adjustments What’s becoming obvious now: 👉 early phosphorus and potassium deficiencies The BioTabs tablets worked great so far, but during heavy flowering they’re simply a bit too slow. So the plan: add microbes → boost soil life moderate PK supplementation → support bud building Just a small extra push so the flowers can really bulk up. 🐛 Reality Check: Pest Squad And of course… it wouldn’t be a real grow without some annoying visitors. Thrips AND fungus gnats. Double trouble. 😅 Thrips → those classic silver streaks on the leaves Fungus gnats → tiny black flies hovering around the soil Nothing catastrophic, but seriously annoying. That constant “can you guys just leave already?” feeling. They’re under control and being monitored closely — but yeah… nobody invited them. ✅ Weekly Summary Lollipopping done ✔️ Stretch finished ✔️ Height dialed in at 1.10 m ✔️ Yo-yos supporting branches ✔️ Buds & resin starting strong ✔️ Thrips annoying ✔️ Fungus gnats annoying too ✔️ Overall, still very happy with the progress.
