Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Going well. Think I may flip in the next week. Don't want the plants to become too unmanageable for my first crop. Really enjoying the learning process. Thinking a t-break starting soon would make it easier to enjoy the harvest. Looking at getting some bubble hash processing equipment and a rosin press, my prefered consumption method from right at home. At this size what would an experienced grower expect in terms of yield? The strains seem hearty. Doubled the nutes this week, ive never followed the feeding chart because the regular feedings were enough. Since I'm outside and i figured I'd give it more to work with since I am trying to pull an obscene number with the size pot I'm working with and veg time. The nodes on the side branches are sort of reluctant to stretch out, same are big enough to train many aren't but nothing that should concern me. Had some crazy high winds today, I called that free training.

♥️December 13/2020♥️ Hi everyone! Lots of growth this week wow! I measured 5 inches of height since last week! I turned my light to 100 % on the dimmer and raised a few more inches! ♥️ I think i'm finally starting to dial things in, I am pretty happy with how everything is going, I 100000x believe for my other grows I was underfeeding HARDCORE. I am such a stoner sometimes, turns out my measuring syringe was 3ML instead of 30ML??? LOL wow idiot on my part..... but obviously giving them what they need now! ♥️ SO i'm going to add Big Bud next feed, but i'm not sure if I should do a flush before hand? I know this line can have pretty hard salt build up... So any suggestions plz! :) ♥️ Other news is, the roots are just creeping hard out of the drainage holes! I can see the roots also trying to escape the top soil, for me this is so exciting! My last grows the roots sucked hard. I might be exploring hydro next grow in 2021.. I have someone who is willing to give me a setup because they upgraded to a cabinet! We shall see! I bought some lecca ( clay balls) to experiment with my house plants specifically airoids.. but i'll start there and see how I feel with that method of substrate. ♥️ Anyways, that's all from me this week, keep it sleezy n stay safe pals.👽

Overview of the whole grow so far.. everything is looking healthy no signs of mold pest resistance is there with the help of the dragonflies and natural ladybugs and other predators in the garden including garter snakes.. the snakes just coil around the trunk of the trees.. Everyday the odor of the garden grows stronger skunky and sweeter.. Cinderella 99 has the strongest odor and most fragrant buds, followed by the Purple Haze, then the Strawberry Cough then the Afghan hash plant and then DJ Short Blueberry but to be fair the blueberry and the Afghan we're late bloomers as we all know

Day 35 All plants but one are doing pretty good and growing in different kind of ways. Two pretty bushy plants with big leaves and one that’s not developing big fan leaves till now but is still growing nicely. I sadly overwatered the smallest one last week, but she’s still giving her best to survive my mistakes. I do light LST every morning and will report them into 19L next week. Not sure if should keep the small one in the 4L for now and repot her at later stage so she can recover. I appreciate everyone helping me out or sharing advice /update Day 36 Today I topped one of my ladies again, because I topped her wrong the first time she started developing the two tops a node lower. As the two fan leaves on top won’t give her anything else than shadow I decided to cut that part. I appreciate every advice 🙏🏾

5.23 F60 5.27 F65 - Everything has been going well this week. The plants went through a feed cycle that should carry them through flower no problemo. Started with the AACT Tea, then a bokashi drench with Fish Shit from Fishheadfarms and plain water from here on out. They are drinking quite a bit. 1.5-2 gallons a plant every 3ish days. The terps in my tents smell out of this world. The ScrOG and 3x3 are like a candy store. Passion Berry has mango/guava citrus terps while Deadstar v2 has strawberry watermelon terps. The 4x5 is much more varied, but in general the sweet pink dominates with it's grape candy terps and the dread bread cuts through with it stanky gassy lemon while the prayer pupil smells like moth balls and a bit of GMO. Very lucky to get to experience this much variety. 5.29 F67

The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

Ok completely my bad with this. Haven't been feeling great the past couple weeks and have really neglected these babies, among other things. But, I had a go in there yesterday and hopefully things shouldn't keep getting so bad. The buds are fattening up on both a lot, and considering what they've been through I think they look pretty damn good. A lot of burned tops, any suggestions what o should do with them? Seems a bit harsh to smoke. I've managed to wiggle them down a bit lower, hopefully he burning shouldn't get worse, but we'll see. Smells fantastic anyway. Definitely want to run these again a. It further from the light 👍👍👍
