Last days were mostly overcast weather and fresher temperatures here. All 3 plants slowed down their growth and they also lost some yellow leaves from the lower part of the plant. I hope this is normal. Plant 3, the one that suffered the bending trauma last week (see photos for details) is not showing signs of lethal damage yet, fingers crossed for me please! This weeks been great besides the heat 😬 had some good cooler days that allowed me to really cool down the tent and get a good vpd reading at night. I’ve been trying to hold the humidity roughly round 35, 40% but it’s hard in this dry heat. Been learning to balance temperature and humidity for the best vpd reading. The og kush is showing some yellowing of the tips of the leafs. I’m thinking it’s from the heat. I am like the signs of purple in the one og kush plant. Crazy how they are 2 same og kush seeds and they are both growing similar and different at the same time haha! I love seeing the recovery of the tops and the reward for all the work put into veg! Gonna keep going strong the next 4 weeks! Been doing about 6.20 6.10 for ph. Also keeping the water cooler to keep them roots cool! Great week headed into week 4 after week 4 no more big bud on nutrients. Super excited 🔥 also wanna talk about how well all these strains are growing! Super proud the pineapple chunk is doing great the 2nd plant in the back is a bit shorter but she’s growing strong many tops! And doing well in flowering a little burnt tips on the fan leaves but nothing major! Happy growing yallll!!

Buds are pretty fricken fat this week, super dense and solid, when you squeeze, there is no give.

This beautiful girl is in flush and should be ready for Harvest In less than a week! I’m checking trichromes to see when I should chop her! But surely next update is hopefully a chop! Took some photos for the Christmast contest! I changed my nickname, I've started on GrowDiaries just to post one question, but it hooked me. Now I need a better brand: Big Beautiful Weed. Just perfect. It's Bud Porn time! New phone, as you can notice, with better camera and allows to use the microscope. So much better! I took a million pictures. Startedtoday, flush at day 60. Probably I should have start to flush the Gelato a bit earlier, is already showing some amber. [UPDATE: No! And is been a mistake realized in week 10, I started flushing too early, still two weeks to go at best from this week 9] Maybe less then a week before I chop her. It will be couchlock, if I have to guess, and is what I was looking for. Overall, and besides the photoperiodic Gelato I had to kill, I'm veeery happy of how is turning out. The colour from Outer Space, that's it. OG Kush Auto in my germination space denands more light, and her diary!

This grow took me around 12 weeks to complete. I harvested at about 80 days and got some beautiful dense nugs. I have found growing autos in DWC allows to get amazing results. During this grow I started feeding bloom nutrients at a much earlier stage to try and make them available as soon as the plant can use them. I also found this didn’t effect my stretch much and allowed for a whole lot of bud sites. Take note that most micro nutrient lines contain a lot of nitrogen and when the autos start making bud sites you can cut the grow nutrients much earlier. I had pretty good results with micro and bloom during the early flower stage. I also found that by gradually removing certain growth and not adding too much stress, the strain reacts pretty well. If you do decide to do a heavier defoliation, rather do it after the plant has completed its stretch. This will help not shock and stunt growth during vegetative stage. I would personally recommend to try and scrog this strain of grown in dwc for even larger yields as I removed quite a lor of growth during my grow. I will definitely make use of this for my next grow. At the middle of the flowering stage I installed a dehumidifier and tried to keep it between 45-55% RH. My temperatures were consistently between 20-27 degrees as I ran a 24h light cycle. I also made use of a mycelium bag for some added Co2 which I found worked well. I am overly satisfied with the yield and density of these flower and would recommend Fastbuds genetics to anyone looking to grow their own. High quality and very high yielding plant.

Edit from 19th May. Literally 00:09 Pre-Flowering. Fat Banana looks like Hermie. Royal Critical = clean pre-flower. Edit from 19th May. 16:26 Fat Banana had balls sack and pistils growing all over the place. I nuked everything that had balls on it. I left only top node with pistils. Royal Critical is full of pistils, no balls. Now I wish I had photoperiod seeds instead of automatics. I would give Critical 1 extra week in veg. She is around 10-15cm smaller then Fat Banana. I switched the lights back to 400W. Edit from 20th May. 14:45 I think 32C is maximum what these plants can handle. With 600W I was reaching 34C on some top leaves and that could possibly turn the Fat Banana into hermit (she was the tallest). I open the tent a little (front doors), I put big-ass fan on second gear blowing strong wind through the mesh-window of a tent. I put the lights straight up to the ceiling, I literally can't put them any higher. Fat banana is now 58cm tall and around 80cm away from the light. Royal Critical is now 41cm tall and around 100cm away from the light. 50% Humidity 28C under the canopy/on the ground under the leaves 31C Air temperature. Fat Banana fan leaves temperature: 28.5C Fat Banana center/middle of the plant: 30.9C Royal Critical fan leaves temperature: 27.5C Royal Critical center/middle of the plant: 27.8C NOTE: Royal Critical ugly/yellow leaves have higher temp: 29-30C The rest of small plants range from 28 and 32C Surface area/soil temperature DRY: 35C Surface/Soil temp. WET/SHADOW: 28-29C That pistol/laser for checking temps was solid purchase. I can see back of my tent is more hot then other areas. Will do more Temp-Checks in the future. Another good week in the garden. These girls are finishing up now. Some will be picked over the next few days and some will go another week here. Got some recharge and mammoth P for the first time three days ago. Hoping to finish strong 💪

We introduced LST this week to get more parts of the plant to get more sunlight. We also started using a fertilizer (NPK 9-3-6) using 3ml/l.
