June 24: decided to tie down more branches and also the smaller plant that had lost its root as a baby but kept going. With tie down it’s starting to look like a single plant. It’s also starting to flower after 8 weeks of slowish vegetative growth, and this is likely due to the overnight temperatures. It has been a cool and wet June here. June 27: this plant is doing great and it is really responding well to the tie down. I always figured this was more an indoor technique but it certainly is working great outdoor on this auto White Widow. I love growing weed. Endless variations and techniques to be applied.

I just knew it lol.. this is a slow girl to get started but once u get her going shes exploding, the stems are so thick. id be suprised if this one doesnt come out as the tallest ones with the fattest nugs in the end, the yield remains to be seen

[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

During the day, the air temperature is between 24 and 26°C, while the soil reaches around 21.5°C. Since topping last week, a few side shoots have emerged. I have hung the lamp a little higher to have more distance to the plants and hope that the new side shoots will stretch a little and the red coloration of the leaf stems will be reduced. The automatic watering works quite well, but I had hoped for more. Unfortunately, a few fungus gnats have crept in, which I still have to get rid of. I still think it's a bit premature to start the flowering phase, the ladies should get a bit more size and presence, also because I would like to take a few cuttings. We have now reached the first day of August and it is time to make new crops. The Zkittlez that has completed its vital coclo under the LED lamp has become a fantastic plant and will be collected tomorrow along with the Purple Glam Kush. In the last few days I have received my new Focus V Carta concentrator vaporizer and I really recommend it to anyone who loves to concentrate. I'm using it for my BHO and Rosin and it's really cool. I also recently discovered how to dissolve my concentrates to create e-liquids from smoking with electronic cigarettes and I will soon make a video about it. Meanwhile I made a second video that you can see on my DHO extraction method using only freshly picked buds. As you can see from the images all the plants are in good health and the queen of my garden is currently the LSD-25 of FastBuds. A beautiful, very fragrant and very productive plant that certainly becomes part of the varieties that I will continue to grow every month. Even the plant that has just begun to bloom shows all its purple shades. If the effect once smoked is as reported in the producers' description (it should have psychedelic properties) it will surely become my favorite strain for this year 😋 August 4 Nice Updates: I'm really studying a lot these days and I'm improving my skills in creating concentrates. In the coming weeks I will also show you my attempt to decompose and reassemble cannabis at will. I will use my DHO for THC, derivatives and terpenes, buy a ready-made wax containing 70% CBD and isolated crystals of CBD at 99.9% and additional extracts of marijuana terpens for flavor. Everything will be dissolved with a few drops of a PEG solution similar to products like Wax Liquidizer or the Shatter Batter you have in the USA, but as I wrote I will show you in the coming weeks. As far as my girls are concerned, in the last few days I have collected the Purple Glam Kush and the beautiful Zkittlez that bloomed under the LED lamp. I also posted new images of the beautiful LSD-25. Since I decided to create new concentrates at each harvest I will divide the buds into three categories. I will smoke the medium and large buds and I will use the smaller ones and the first quality scraps to make my concentrates. With all the other scraps I will instead make hashish with the ice-olator method. I take this opportunity to wish you all happy summer holidays! 😎 August 7: I was uploading the results images when I realized something must have gone wrong when I uploaded my last video and it was still in conversion, I reupladed it. Results: with about 40 grams of top quality scraps I obtained 4.5 grams of DHO and with second quality scraps mixed with 17.5 grams of cleaned hashish I got 7.1 grams of DHO. We both lack small amounts that I have smoked these days, say about half a gram of one and a half gram of the other. Despite having used different materials both have similar color and texture. The taste of hashish feels very little and gives a note of freshness to the concentrate. Obviously both have a very powerful effect. As for the plants collected, I obtained 122 grams from the Purple Glam Kush and 157 from the Zkittlez 😉

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

I'm just winging it out to see what's going to happen but so far so good I think.

Week 3, i defoliated a few of the biggest fanleaves on both plants now i just going to let them go the stretch has stopped and now the buds will grow i can already tell the forbidden fruit is my new favorite strain, the color, the smell is just perfect 🤩 😄 i wish i vegged her a few weeks longer

Nothing new to report really, other than that they are thriving. The heads are getting bigger and bigger and the branches are filling up with flowers. I'm going to keep the fertilizer steady at this level for this week and see them grow each day. Really a lovely process to watch this plant grow.

This week was a real breeze! She's gaining a ton of weight on the bud sites and she's really growing nicely! She's starting to bud around the flowering sites and really finishing nicely. The formation of buds is my favorite part because that's when you get to see somewhat of the final picture and the time the flower is most colorful! Now the second best part is harvesting the flower for smoking which will be occuring soon! The smell on these girls is very invigorating!! She's putting out a smell of a bakery. You can smell sweet cakes when you open up the tent! I can't believe how big she's got and how beautiful they are coming along! I have to say that this is one of my favorites to grow and my favorite smelling strain! I also love the way the flowers are stacking on the colas!!! The frost on top of the cola leaves is insane! During the day I drop the humidity down to 45-50% and then at night I raise the humidity up to 60-65% which helps a ton with flower promotion during the flowering stage! Also, I raise the temperature during the day to 80° and at night I lower the temperature to 55°-60° which helps mimic the autumn temperatures that aids a ton in flower production in the flowering stage!!! Soon I'll stop giving the two Pound Cake Auto's any synthetic nutrients because they stop taking nutrients in and start to self canabulize as a normal (ending) part of plant life. Then I'll give the two ladies plain pH balanced H20 for a week to flush any and all nutrients out of them. Then three days of darkness. Finally I'll chop them down to hang in my harvesting closet for 7-14 days with a dehumidifier on at 65% humidity. Then I'll place the flower into the trimmer and then into the grove bags for the last step in harvesting! The grove bags will keep the flower at 58-62% humidity. They also help keep the flower fresh longer, the Terpenes fresh, the Terpenes flavors, and from becoming moldy or dried out! I've used both these and the mason jars with boveda humidity packs but to me the grove bags are a must!!! Thanks and as always stay safe, stay high, and stay blessed!

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

A few of the autos have mostly milky trichomes but no amber yet. Maybe another two weeks.
