Purple purple purple! I want to keep her going until the entire thing is purple but the trichomes are mostly amber and without side lighting the bottom buds are just not developing fast enough comparatively. So rather than make the experience just be me falling asleep every use, I'm going to opt to chop her tonight or tomorrow probably. It's been 4.5 months and I need to get the tent set up and make this bucket 100x better!

Starting to really be thirsty. Soon as I started the nutrients they started drinking almost twice as much water. Did some low stress training this week and probably continue tying back and levelling through the next two weeks. Since it’s an empty tent right now really letting them stretch out ;p

Easy harvest. Chopped and hung em down full. After curing 3 weeks this stuff is probably my best grow. Super duper mega dense nugs, and I have to say the taste is amazing compared to my other grows, so I will have to try flushing again.. Drying at 18c @ ~60rh and hoping to get ~12 days or so Yield was 24.9oz dried

Der Duft lies etwas nach, die Luftfeuchtigkeit stieg an. Ende. Der Anbau dauerte nur 83 Tage vom Samen bis zur Ernte der reifen Blüten. Auto Elephant ist leider in der Hitze bei über 37 Grad Mitte der dritten Woche in die Blüte gegangen. Ich werde sie nächstes Jahr wieder anbauen und auf stabileres und milderes Klima in der Vegetation hoffen. Auch der sehr stickstoffreiche Schwarzkohlekompost hat ihr Probleme bereitet, so vermute ich. Er eignet sich wohl besser für photoperiodische Sorten als für Autoflower Genetik. Ich werde den Kompost beim nächsten Mal anpassen müssen. Die Blüten hängen zum Trocknen. Ich melde mich bald mit dem Ergebnis und in ein paar Wochen mit einem Vape Bericht. Es ist meine zweite Elephantendame und soviel kann ich schon jetzt sagen: Bombe! Super harzig, extrem lecker. Ein High, wie als wenn du auf einem Elephanten sitzend durch die Wolken schwebst und dabei einen Blick auf die Dinge bekommst, die dir ansonsten verborgen blieben. Hello and Welcome back 🌱 It‘s now 7 days ago since I put them in Water to Germinate and now it‘s their 5th day of growing. Yesterday, they got their first 4 hours of darkness and now i‘m slowly going down to 18/6 light schedule. I admit, the environment was sometimes very off due to experiments with VPD and leaf temperatur but I think I can dile it in correctly for this growing stage and beyond (hopefully). I was trying to see what happens if I stress them a little and hoped they would grow faster but they 100% didn‘t like it. They heat up pretty fast when the Air is too hot and dry because the roots are not developed and the plant is not established enough. An established plant can stay outside in the heat of the sun and still have cool leaves. So my environment for this stage is as above (27°C,70%RH). Light at 15000 Lux (≈370 ppfd) a little high but I‘ve noticed some stretching and I asumed they wanted more light and I really don’t want any more stretching. My media comes without nutriens so i feed little amounts of it every time they dry out enough. This is a Indica dominant strain so I asume they will stay fairly smal. Btw. If anybody wonders if CO2 bags work, check out the Video I uploaded. They are still seedlings (not really in Veg yet) and so i‘m treating them as such for the rest of the week. Root developement is now the top priority wich, if you didn‘t know, is better in a smal pot first because they are more likely to develope secondary roots but we’ll see. I heard It‘s like topping just underneath the plant. When they are ready to be transplanted I most likely will take the first three. Update: I did all the preperations for Transplant bc I was worried about root bound. I took Nr. 4 out and washed it as carefully as I could to expose the roots. Some of them got stuck on harder peaces of dirt and got ripped off. But it looks like alot of secondary roots developed instead of just one long taproot, wich is nice. I assume i can transplant them in the next few days. I rearanged the plants according to the Lux reading, wich is highest in the middle so the bigger plants (Nr.1 and Nr. 3) went to the sides. Maybe Nr.1 got the „smal“ genetics and it’s not anything environmental. thanks for following along this far and happy growing! Update: hey guys so yesterday I noticed, that the roots are coming out of the bottom. They were trying to get to the bottom of the three pots 😭 i had to do an emergency Transplant wich went very bad because they were stuck in the little pots. I don‘t think i‘m going to use these kind of pots anymore because they were not easy to get out. I even dropped Nr. 3 but luckily nothing bad happened. After the transplant both Nr. 1 and 2 were already ready to get more light. But Nr.3 was turning away from the light and the leaves were hanging down. So to lower the stress and encourage root groth I redusced the amount of light to a minimum and lowered the Temperature and highten the RH. This seemed to work well because the leaves were purking up again. The next day after 6-7 hours of darkness they are doing fine again but i‘m going to give them a little longer to establish themselves in the new pot. I changed the light schedule to 18/6 since I had to give them more darkness yesterday. I hope everything goes smothly from now on.

unfortunately I had trouble doing my LST and a branch broke while trying to fight against the tension. I changed my tent this week, the lamp and the Mars Hydro extractor convinced me that it was good gear so I took the tent in + 😀 Pulling all the branches with ropes is way too much work... I think I'll just pull the 2 main branches down and add a scrog net next week. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- -Water: tap water (280ppm). I add 0.7g/L of Grow mineral powder and 0.2g/L of Calcium to reach 820ppm and I adjust the ph to 5.8 -Daytime temperature: 29°C -Night temperature: 25°C -Humidity: 45-75% -Lamp: Mars Hydro FC3000. intensity 60% at 40cm from the top leaves -Room: Mars Hydro 100x100x180cm -Extractor: Mars hydro 402 CFM Max. power 2/10 -Substrate : 70% coco, 25% perlite, 5% vermiculite.

WOW!!! She's f'ing huge!!! Definitely the largest auto I've ever grown. The bud sites are still in early development but she's beautiful. However, I think she's suffering a little from the heat in the attic (where my grow tent is). I'll be moving her outside in the next week or so in an effort to help her out. Hoping for the best! 🙏

I had a great feeling of accomplishment as I harvested Daphne today. She was the first plant I have brought to life in many years and I was impressed with how the A.B.L.E. Grow Chamber worked. I will let her dry out for a week then I will update more.......It has been a week and I am more than happy with her smoke. VERY SMOOTH no harshness. Great after taste. Even though she was a small plant she still did extremely well in all other factors,: great color, no disease, good tie down technique made for 6 tops with one main one. I will use a single 5 gal bucket for my hydro next grow to see if I get better root growth than with the 6 plant reservoir I used for this operation. The grow chamber allowed me to control the humidity, air temp, pH and PPM with relative ease. I am very happy with my first grow operation with the ABLE Grow Chamber and hope my diary was informative and entertaining for everyone. Main thing i did wrong was my fuck up with keeping the LED too close when she was a seedling. I had it at 10". (it was my 1st time w LEDs.) Secondly, I never got good root growth but not sure why. my theory is that light was seeping through the white plastic cover on the Rainforest 66 reservoir. The best thing I did was controlling all the factors needed to grow with my A.B.L.E Grow Chamber Prototype. It made great use of limited space and saved electricity with its low power usage. Look forward to using it one more time before we make the first salable model. 0
