Saturday 16-11-24 , Flowering day # 53 week 8. Harvest day! Cut branches off plants & hung the 2 front plants off the light. Put scrog net back in with a large flyscreen laying on top, & spread branches from the back plant over it. This allows complete air flow around the buds. Running a single oscillating fan beneath pointing to the bottom. Temperature is around 24°C & RH is 55%

This was an interesting harvest. Everything was going great and the buds/trichomes were still piling on, when suddenly almost overnight plant "C" shifted to about 20% amber trichomes. So I harvested it, and because the other plant wasn't ready yet I decided to try water curing the first one for 7 days. Then at the end of the 7 days, I figured I'd hack down plant "D" and dry them both on the racks in the tent at the same time before moving into jars. The water curing was a huge success! After the first day, the water was cloudy with a slight green tinge. Second day was about the same. Then the water was just a little cloudy each change, no green tinge. Compare it to the diary I just opened around water re-curing some cannabis I bought from the government store, where the water is diarrhea brown :O On day 7 of my water cure, the water was perfectly clear so I decided to hack down plant "D" and get them both drying on racks in the tent together. While water-curing plant "C", I had its trim sitting in a bowl in the freezer. When I hacked down plant "D", I put its trim in the same bowl. After my typical wet-trimming, I hung up Plant "C"'s water-cured buds on the top rack, plant "D"'s buds on the 2nd rack for an old fashioned cure, and random trim from both plants spread out on the bottom 2 racks. The water-cured buds dried within about 24 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack. The buds are SUPER dense and potent! Nice clean high, doesn't kill my throat. The downside is that the taste is really weak and not that great. But everything has pros and cons. Almost no trichome loss in the bucket during the water curing as well -- I was really worried about that! The other buds dried in about 36 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack, where I burped it many times a day for a week. The smell and flavour are much more potent than the water-cured bud and it's a little harsher on my throat, but otherwise I'm not sure there's a detectable difference. However, you can SEE there's a sharp visual difference between the water-cured buds and the jar-cured :) Of course the jar-cured will mature more with time as well. Once the trim was completely dry, I put it in a bag in the deep freezer and dropped it to about -20. I didn't need to use a grinder this way -- I could just mash it all up in the bag with extreme ease! Sifted it through the kief screen, and pressed down 17 grams of lazy-man's hash! After processing the trim through the kief screen, I decarbed in the oven at 200F for 1 hour (this converts THC-A into THC or something to that effect -- if you don't do this, the edibles won't get you very high). I put the trim into a big mason jar and back into the freezer along with my bottle of Everclear. Once they dropped somewhere down around -20, I poured in the Everclear, put the lid on, and shook as hard as I could, as often as I could, for 5 minutes or so. I noticed that as I shook it around, the contents inside would alternate between solid and liquid which was kinda cool :) Shake it one way and it freezes, shake it the other way and it thaws... or something to that effect, anyway. I was able to use a double-coffee-filter to extract about 2 cups of dragon tincture! I threw everything in the coffee filter out -- next time I'm going to do a better job of it as there's a little pile of trichomes that forms at the bottom of the filter which I could put to use. Once I get that down next harvest, I'll have around 99% efficiency milking every last drop out of my harvests! White chocolate is so yummy, as are candy canes... I wanted to combine the two to make some edibles. Looking around for candy cane crush, I decided to check out Amazon. They had the same candy cane crush I was looking at from popular stores, for only a couple dollars more, so I figured sure why not have it delivered. I was planning to get some white Baker's chocolate, but on checkout of the candy cane crush I got a deal for adding on white chocolate Lindt bars for $1.25 a piece LOL! So I bought 10 of those. When the Amazon package arrived, I slowly boiled down 1/2 cup of my dragon tincture in a pot, then used a double-boiler setup to melt down 4 of the Lindt bars in the same pot. Once it was mixed well with the hash oil, I set it aside to cool for about 3 minutes before stirring in 1/8 cup of candy cane crush (plus I ended up adding maybe like a tablespoon more), pouring into a pan lined with parchment paper, and putting in the freezer for 30 minutes. So now I have a nice big chunk of white chocolate candy cane crunch stuff where a piece the size of my thumb gets me super high for like 8+ hours; 17 grams of lazy-man's hash; and 88 grams of bud :) And still enough dragon tincture left over to make 3 more rounds of edibles -- not sure what I'll make next! From now on I'm going to water cure a large portion of all my buds -- not just the ones I grow myself, but ones I buy from the Gummint too!

It's time. The trichomes have clouded over, a milky haze obscuring the clear heads. The smell is faint. Very herby of thyme and salvia. The buds are small and round.

She has received no water for a week as her pot is not light enough for me to feed. Her roots are protruding the pot. Her stem is firming up more plus her third set of true leaves are through. I gave the soil a prune. I’ll keep her dry until she needs to be fead!

I recently completed my very 1st harvest and now that I have gotten over the hurdle, I'm excited to be at it again (and with lots of great upgrades). In my first attempts at growing I thought it would be best to start with the most entry level equipment just to see how I enjoyed the experience; it's safe to say I'm HOOKED! This time around I have a larger tent (3x3) and am growing 4 plants instead of just one! 2 of these plants are Super Skunk (fem) and the other 2 are bag seed that I kept labeled (banana candy & 3x crazy). In addition to the Mars Hydro tent, I also got an affordable LED light that I am over the moon about :) After doing some research for several months I decided that the Hipargero 800w COB was a must-have, especially for the price! I haven't seen many people talk about it or use it but, everything that I did see was a raving review and from the couple of youtube videos and pictures I saw of the light in action I was quite impressed! It has a veg and bloom switch, and a daisy chain feature for those of you who are looking to make an upgrade... this might be the next light for you! These little babies are in Fox Farm's "Ocean Forest" and I am giving them a light misting of distilled water. By the end of the week I will probably place used coffee grounds on the top soil for so slow releasing nitrogen nutrients.

6/13/2023 Week 10- Day 1 of Flower (Day 131 overall) (Day 70 of Flower) Auto Pilot Day 6.. Checked the Trichomes and the bud density and both are looking good.. Definitely needs a little more time for the Trichomes to be where I like, so based on my check I think we are still looking right around the end of the competition 22June to be done and ready for harvest. I do like that the fade is coming in the leaves nicely, so my chart I think is dropping off the Nitrogen exactly like it is supposed to. 6/14/2023 Week 10- Day 2 of Flower (Day 132 overall) Auto Pilot Day 7.. Decided I would take some contrasting pics today with my light up to 100 and my light all the way on Dim. Decided to take a look at the Trichome's today and Check to see where they are at and honestly if I might ho ahead and start my flush tomorrow and harvest on Sunday. 6/16/2023 Week 10- Day 4 of Flower (Day 134 overall) (Day 74 of Flower) Today I pulled an Armageddon however instead of darkness they are going to get 48 hours of light. The reason why they are going to get light instead of dark is when I was taking out the netting a lot of the buds were so heavy they fell over and exposed some areas I really want to get some light to... so 48 hours of light at 40% while I watch what should be a beautiful final fade as the plant eats up the last Nutes. If anything goes wrong I can abort take the photos and cut so will pay really close attention to how it is looking over the next 48 hours. Added 30 Gallons of PH only Water. Reduced Lighting to 40% removed program time off. 48 hours of light. 6/17/2023 Week 10- Day 5 of Flower (Day 135 overall) (Day 75 of Flower) I had someone tell me that a few growers had done as I did and Gone Armageddon on the plants. Filling it with PH only and said the plants did not respond well and they were taken out of the comp at the very end because they felt like the pictures just wouldn't come out right. Even though I did go Armageddon, The PPM is at 353PPM with the residue of what was left in the buckets after draining as well as what I am getting from the TAP so I think they are doing good but I am checking them every few hours to see how they seem to be doing and I think they are doing good still and are on track. I also started prepping the area for the pics tomorrow T-24 Hours until Chop 6/18/2023 Week 10- Day 6 of Flower (Day 136 overall) (Day 76 of Flower) (Harvest Day) What a day.. what a day.. what a day.. as I was setting up and trying to figure out how I was going to get my pics #3 stems started breaking, it fell over and other stems broke.. So no really stunning competition photo for her, she had such a nice purple fade.. #2 stayed up in the Tent so that is the one I had to go with to submit for the contest. I wet trimmed them as they went into the tent and they took up three rows hanging in tent. I also decided I wanted to try some so I put a little in the freeze dryer for a 48 hour smoke test.. I will weigh it and add that to my total weight for the plants when it is all done.

Bom, completando a quarta semana com muito sucesso, agora estamos em 3ml por litro e na próxima rega já vamos para 4ml, estou regando com 1 litros de água cada 3 ou 4 dias, dependendo de quão seco estiver o subtrato, até agora não tive run off. LST finalmente tá dando certo skkskskakak. Tem umas pequenas manchas amarelas em uma delas mas não acho que seja um problema, se alguém puder comentar ou dar uma dica eu agradeço 💚🌱😁 Sem muitas novidades...

Blue Dream Xtreme is growing. I think she wants more nutrition then the others. Is a little lighter in shade of green. I just switched to 12 12 light schedule. So first day of flowering. Day 28-35 (Day 29) I had some leftover pH 5.5 water from my other grow, it’s a little acidic but my medium is pretty base so it should balance itself out soon. (Day 30) Plants didn’t respond well overnight. They’re drooping and not looking very happy anymore. I’m guessing they will still recover in the next few days though. I’ve got to stay more consistent with the water. I’m going to make a water formula and consistently use it every time. I don’t like these pH fluctuations. (Day 33) I’m going to sprout 8 more plants today to help fill out the tent before I flip. I will be using pretty lame genetics but I will probably still find something I like. Got x2 SM Jack Herer, x2 SM Blueberry, x2 SM The White OG, x2 SM Badazz OG cheese. Last time I ran badazz og cheese it grew fine and yielded well but it got some pretty bad powdery mildew and the quality was lacking. I will make sure to give as many preventative sprays as possible before flip. This whole tent is highly susceptible to powdery mildew so I might be in for some issues later down the road. I will make sure to vacuum frequently and spray down the tent and my equipment as much as possible. The slurricane has recovered from its topping and is producing two new main stems. Its going through water quite fast so I’m going to transplant into a 1.7g pot. (Day 35) Dropped the ball hard today and accidentally knocked over the tray with all my new seedlings. Good news is they just got watered and were firm enough to keep all 8 seeds rooted and in place. Bad news is I mixed up almost every single container..... The only plant I am certain of the genetics is one of the cheeses. The other 7 are all mixed up! I’m sure I can tell all 4 apart by late mid-late flower, but this just sucks. I guess I will number them like prisoners 😭😭 I overwatered the slurricane a bit and it is looking like it has a lockout of some sort or it could be from the foliar spray. I’m going to back off and let it do it’s thing for the next week. I hope all the stress I’m putting it through will slow it down to the level of the locos and garlics. Garlics are looking happy so I’m going to transplant them into 1.7s today. Might as well get this slurricane, guava and locos transplanted too. Guava appears to be growing quite healthy but has had interveinal chlorosis since it has sprouted. If it doesn’t green up in the next week I will pull it. Man, I can’t help but feel this grow has been cursed since the beginning. Although a rough past don’t always make for rough future. I found a way to consistently pH my water to 6.2 every time. I’m starting with 60ml of chlorine free bottle, adding in 2000ml of RO water and just that alone gets me to 6.2. I can also add in 3ml of remo nutrients calmag, 2ml of EM1 microbes, 2ml of 0-0-15 kelp extract and the pH will stay stable at 6.2.

I switched nutes preemptively but we are back to veg(terp tea grow 711) for atleast one more week, maybe 2 to account for her stretching. 5/3/24 She’s stacking bud sites. She’s so much more squat than I thought. She’s like stiff and wants to just grow upright. I wanna grow this plant without training, I bet she would be beautiful.
