Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Made it 67 days before the chop. •••03/21/2020 After a 6 day hang I've trimmed and started to jar cure. Had a total flower weight of 85 grams. Over all I'm pleased. Will update with a smoke report in about 3 weeks.

Such a beautiful plant , buds are deliciously skunky and sweet . Getting thick and sticky . Still a few weeks to go till I get to smoke it all . I’ll keep up the defol and bring her home strong .

Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. Flushing begins for the Og kush and blueberry. All three plants are incredibly sticky, stanky, dense and heavy! The OG Kush plants are blowing my mind, I'm amazed at how much they have fattened up the last week. The super lemon haze starts week 7 and is also sticky and stanky, she's also starting to pack on weight and density.

Heu guys ! Plants start to pre flower, everything is going good, few nutriments fails but overall it's pretty much ok Pretty sad about the Zake and the Shimo in the front that pretty much had no stretch 😓 Cant complain since im working from seeds ! See ya next week ✌️

Of the four plants Barney's LSD Auto is the most vivacious, with the Strawberry Cheesecake and Onyx only a week or so behind. The Northern Lights Auto is very disappointing with absolutely no branching...and some discolouration in the leaves. If she doesn't show some branching after topping, I'm going to pull her and grow a different plant. Real estate in my grow room is in high demand and I won't waste it on a dud plant :D

Week 3

Tag 56 - Beginn der 9 Woche. Die Buds entwickeln sich weiterhin super. Starker Duft und extrem eisig. Wie schon erwähnt, entwickelt diese Pflanze für ihre Größe wirklich unglaublich dicke Buds. Diese Woche wurde nochmal gedüngt und auch schon mit den ersten Vorbereitungen zur Ernte begonnen. Am Tag 54 wurde das erste mal mit Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish gespült. Dabei gebe ich 1,5 - 2ml/Liter als Zusatz zum normalen Wasser dazu. Der Plan ist dies 5 mal vor der Ernte zu wiederholen und das letzte mal mit normalen Wasser zu gießen. Gedüngt wurde an Tag 51 der letzten Woche. 3 Tage bevor mit dem Spülen begonnen wurde. Dies war natürlich die letzte Düngung. Nährstofflösung: 1 ml/l - Overdrive Advanced Nutrients 1 ml/l - Bud Candy Advanced Nutrients. 1 ml/l - B-52 Advanced Nutrients. 2 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part A. 2 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part B.

Update February 4, 2019 (Video and Pics actually taken Feb 1). So I have harvested the 3rd FastBuds BlackBerry as well as the Barney’s Farm NYC Diesel Auto. The Blackberry was very loose and airy with not much density to the buds. Made it difficult to trim without just putting 90% in the trim pile. I had a taste of one of the buds from Blackberry #2 and she was much fruitier/sweeter than this one is. I can still taste some sweetness in #3, but she also tastes bit more harsh than I remember from #2. I yielded 16 gr from the 3rd plant and never weighed the first two, they just went straight to my edibles pile, but I’ll guess they may have yielded another 16 gr combined, which would total 32 gr for 3 plants. The Barney’s Farm NYC Diesel turned out pretty nice. Got some pretty nice and solid buds from her. She definitely tastes and hits like Diesel. I’m very happy with this girl. She only yielded 18 gr dried, but I didn’t really do any training with her at all. And she survived through all of my soil and ph issues like a champ! Back to the living…. So, I’m figuring I’m about mid-way into flower now with the 6 girls I have flowering. Overall, I’m very happy with how things are going. The buds are coming in strong on all plants, they are stinky and sticky and I’m not complaining about anything really. But, I still see more yellow than I like. Last week I fed Recharge, Mammoth P, MegaCrop, and CalMag+. I don’t feed all of those at once, Recharge & Mammoth P one time, MegaCrop & CalMag+ the next, then the 3rd is usually straight water. I also seem to be able to go at least a day between waterings/feedings. Anyway, yellowing leaves during flower seems to be most common with a Nitrogen deficiency as far as I can tell. I’m tempted to feed in a round or two of veg nutes to see how that goes. One more thing… I transplanted my clones and seedlings into larger nursery pots today. They were transplanted into pots with soil that has been composting/recharging for almost a month now based on some of the tips from the books I have been reading. I’m excited to see how they react to their new environment.

Week 14, day 99, the second week of flowering has started, and it shows on the plant. It looks like Cookies Gelato #1 has started flowering before #2 and #2 started before #3. Look at the photos from above, I cannot wait to see when flowers will be enormous and lots of them!! Of course there is no weed smell yet but the plants have a wonderful smell of mint and lime. I'm also still trying to LST the plants even if they are mature, just to get a bit more light. Approximately two more months and I'll be ready to harvest, I think the yield will be terrific. As you can see, these girls are looking good they are growing and you may see more than you know of. I got one from a buddy who said he did not know what he was doing after about a month and a half so I said give her here I’ll take her.
