Things have been going well as I continued to train the stretching girls to the side of the pots, bending and adding ties where needed. Pheno 1 started showing signs of over watering showing droopy leaves as well as what I think is either nitrogen, magnesium or iron deficiency. I'm leaning towards a iron deficiency since the yellowing is on the newest growth at the top. I think this was caused from giving her too much top amendments in her last feed causing a pH imbalance. What I would usually do is just give her a little flush if this is the case but instead I decided to repot her and the other Pheno into their last 19 litre/4 gallong pots as both were drinking pretty quick and I wanted to avoid over watering again. The rootballs looked beautiful when I transplanted them so I was pretty happy with their progress! This round I've ditched the coco as I had way too many issues with it in the past, including knats and PH issues. In this round I've gone with Biobizz light soil which I added some fish blood and bone, earthworm castings, bat guano and then watered with water and liquid seaweed. I love organic growing :). I do intend on using Coco again but I'll need to do some research on some trusted brands. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know! Pheno 2 is showing signs of recovery but I'd love the input from others about what the deficiency could be? I got my new bubblebags today which is making me want to flip to flower so I can get to harvesting and making some bubble but I'm going to be super patient this round. I want these girls to fill up as much of my 4 x4 tent space as possible. Until next week! ✌️

14/07 - We are in week 5 of veg now and this will most likely be the last week before flip. Training has been going well and there have been no signs of deficiency. Many main sites are starting to shoot up and the plant height is starting to reach close to the net. I will feed them later this week with more flower specific nutrients to prepare for flip. 19/07 - Watered both plants with just water phd at 6.5. Next watering I will introduce flowering nutes. With another good week under the belt, the tent has been flipped to flower. A pre-flower strip will be performed sometime in the first week here, and then it's off to the races. I'm hoping to see around 150g without trim from this go, let's see how we do. -9/24- Performed a first week strip to let the ladies breathe a little better, looking good. Still a lot of leaf mass to go about photosynthesis, just removed the less useful leaves and a handful of sucker nodes that had little or no light exposure. -9/25- Noticing the stretch bit time. They gained about 1/3 their total height in the past couple days.

This week I didn't fill the reservoir, so they were still using the solution from the last week and then the remaining moisture from the soil. I spotted some sus looking parts in the Glookies and since it looks done and started fading very quickly once the reservoir was empty, I decided to chop it on day 70F (first day of week 19). The others, especially the GMO, look like they can keep going a bit longer, so I gave them a watering directly into the pot.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Bud sites are getting more dense and terps have ramped up a bit. The room smells like candy 🍬 when the door is open. But everything is on cruise control. 1 plant is showing a deficiency but is not affecting the growth at all. Gonna let them go for another 4 weeks then chop them down. All input is appreciated

Completing their first week of bloom. They’ll be measured again on Sunday but going into flower they sat at 42”. There was a runt and I was able to hoist up the xxl autopot to even out the canopy before flipping. I did a heavy defoliation but you’d never know. I’ll wait until stretch is over and really get in there to open up the airflow. Super healthy and very vibrant. Constantly praying and up taking Lotus extremely well. I expect a 10-11 week bloom. Starting week 3 with good growth on all three plants but plant 3 is doing the best, she has the longest branches and I've tried them downwards. I also trimmed-off the lowest leaves and branch/future bud sights. The girls look good and I look forward to another week of progress.

This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! Let’s see how she continues to shape up in the coming weeks. Staying hopeful!🌱💚

Día 15. Las plantas ya alcanzaron un altura muy buena. Ya empiezan a aparecer los primeros pelos blancos. Por el momento me ha sorprendido la reacción de las plantas al bud blood. Si puedo voy a comprar bud candy para ayudar un poco a la mezcla. Por el momento decidí mantener el bud blood a media dosis durante una semana más con el big bud. Veremos que tal resulta. Día 17. El estirón siguió y las plantas alcanzaron 51 cm. Las pequeñas directamente quedaron tapadas. En este experimento se puede ver la diferencia entre tierra e hidroponia. La verdad que estoy sorprendido. Creo que los productos usados son los que han marcado la diferencia. Las plantas quintuplicaron la altura total que tenían al momento de pasarlas a floración. Y sospecho que van a seguir estirándose una semana más. Espero no tener problemas de altura porque no lo planeaba. Creo que voy a cortar algunas ramas bajas más, dado que se están generando muchas sombras nuevas. Seguiré actualizando. Día 19. El estiramiento continua, pero levemente. Ya alcanzaron 55cm. Estuve cortando algunas ramas y hasta supongo que podría cortar más. Pero a esta altura ya todo lo que hay recibe buena luz. La diferencia entre la madre que está en tierra y los esquejes en hidroponia, es cada vez más notoria. Si bien ya la he visto, tener una planta al lado de la otra bajo la misma luz, hace la parte alevosa de todo esto. De todos modos, he comprobado que el sabor obtenido en tierra, es más fiel al de la hidroponia. En hidroponia en principio, las plantas son mas fuertes en todo, pero el sabor de alguna forma, es demasiado afectado por los nutrientes. Incluso habiendo lavado dos o tres semanas, la planta sostiene un sabor constante en todas las variedades, que parece estar atado a la nutrición. Siendo que en tierra, cada variedad tiene su sabor distintivo, siendo una distinta de otra. La próxima actualización será en la nueva semana, ya que al quedar poca solución, la voy a cambiar antes y voy a poner 12 litros en lugar de los 10 que vengo usando. Las plantas vienen comiendo mucho.

What a world of difference a week can make when growing auto-flowers. I did a lot of maintenance on these girls the last couple of days. See pics and videos. Two of the plants have stretched out nicely. The other three are falling behind, but looking very nice. There is a strong citrus smell happening right now. Smells like I have a tent full of fresh lemons. Started using Big Bud and Bud Candy this past week. Tent 2as getting quite crowded, so I also moved the water reservoir on the outside of the tent. It was very hard to cut a lot of those beautiful buds off the plants, but I think it will pay off. I also got the new Vivosun Grow Cams, so far I like them, but I do have some feed back.
