Very saddened by the turn of events, 3 herms, 2 different grow environments, but each tent had another strain growing along with it. No seeds or problems with the Cookies strain… I had no power outages, no light leaks, no schedule changes, and performed relatively little defoliation during flower. To me, this cannot be attributed to stress, as they showed no sign of stress or deficiency’s throughout the grow. Long story short, booooooo.

.. Flower Day 2-3 ..

Here we are again ready to start again, always under the sign of Zamnesia, we make our fantastic plants and we show you what we are capable of. We have 5 autoflowering strains and 5 photoperiodic ones and now we present them to you. The second autoflowering that we present to you is the Black Orchid Autoflowering. This was advised and recommended to us directly by the Zamnesia elves and we are sure that they are keen to send us refinements, we have seen some super beautiful photos of this strain. Guys, black is black as a style of beauty for me it is unbeatable. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so that those who want can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. Tomorrow is the official first week since flip. They are stretching and greening up nicely!! Noticed a little light burn on some tips when I dropped to 18". Gonna see how it progresses. Nutrient wise they are jammin. No issues here. The only problem might be I get overgrown haha! Farmer problems 🤣 Day 12 of flowering. They continue to improve. I believe they are now dug into their new soil and I should have very little trouble keeping them fed. They are really pushing the stretch, especially the BMX!!! It caught up to the sherbs in the last couple days and the bud site structure is TIGHT!!!! The BMX is about to show me what she can do. That Sherbs though, I am so excited about her. Watered all today and they were THIRSTY! took 1 and 1/2 gallons of water to saturate the 7 gallon pots. SCROG LIFE!!! lol

Colas are quite frosty now, though i hoped that they would be more fat by now. I already feed her extra phosphorus and potassium, to help the buds fatten up. Edit: on day 55 I’m beginning to see amber trichomes, so i cleaned out the tank and fed plain ph’ed water with very little nutes. In a couple of days i will give her 2 days in darkness with only water.

After my first successful grow, I'm starting another one with some fine seeds from RQS. Let's do this! 20.12. - I've planted the germinated seeds into the soil. I hope they'll all sprout 🌱 22.12. - 2x Apple Fritter and 1x Creamatic sprouted 🌱 23.12. - 1x Creamatic sprouted 24.12. - Another Creamatic sprouted, however one Fritter is dead. ⚰️ Replacing with one Green Gelato 27.12. - Today I've planted the Green Gelato seed into soil. Other are looking really good 😊 28.12. - Green Gelato sprouted 🌱

Day 43 since seed touched soil. Hard week past. Those long not drinking days when cycle was taking 8 days to dry out made damage, i still see magnesium, but now added some rusty spots and i cant understand is it calcium or my spraying of Leaf Coat and burn. No spray this week, will check if new will appear. Because of troubles i postponed flip and top up till next watering. It should be in 4-5 days. Done huge clearing, a lot new ties added. 3.5 liters of 6.3 phed dechlorinated water went in after training. Twins grow okeish, but i see some damage on them too, canopy forms very nicely tho, thin, but very well spaced. Planning to create scrog this week too. Mars Hydro TSL2000 is on 70% output, thinking to increase it with flip to 75. Light is working fine , really covers all space , great affordable light for colder climate. Day 45. Girls recovered from training very nice ! In few days flip . Day 47. Girls got top up. Put first level of scrog. Flipped to 12/12, tent is rammed ;) light output on 75%, 4 liters of 6.3 phed water went in. Top up was dosed, mixed well and laid on top, then i rough and mix top lair of soil with top up and only then i water. All pots are 30 litres ( grams and ml , have in mind ) : Ecothrive - Biosys - 5 ml / pot Ecotrive - Charge - 120 ml / pot Ecothrive - Life Cycle - 60 g. / pot Ecothrive - Bio Blend - 200 ml / pot. Think this will be my standart top up, i run out of Great White, have for one top up, will do it in 2-3 waterings seperately from all. Planning to repeat same top up at begining of week 4 of flower. Girls look better without spraying, most prob burn from too intense light, despite me giving 30-60 min of reduced to minimum after spraying. From now on - only when lights off. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. There is nothing more to report this week and I wish you all a lot of fun with the update 😀. Deutsch: Ich kam aus dem Urlaub und sah die Büsche 😄 Sie bekamen sofort eine neue Frisur und etwas zu trinken. Denke sie sehen gut aus, dafür das ich nur 2 Wochen gutes Wetter hatte.

Week 7 was awesome! She finally took off into flower and has started to put on visible inflorescence. This was a great development as I was afraid I was going to have to manually flip her. This means I can finish the run outdoors as planned and wont have to contend with fitting her in the tent with the photos who are currently finishing their run. I continued some light LST this week and it looks like I wont be able to train her into quite as pronounced of a spiral as I had hoped as she is going to need to have her apical meristem turned up to follow the lower branches that have now surpassed it in height. This is not a big deal though as the canopy still looks great and I am happy with how she turned out. I think she is set up for a nice finish. She continues to exhibit strong growth and a hearty resistance to outdoor conditions here that can often take weaker genetics of any species down in a heartbeat. I'm not sure if it is typical for this cultivar to flower so late in the run but I can't say I mind it that much. The extra veg time will make for a strong harvest, I think. I've been most impressed with Dinafem's gear so far. Definitely top notch. I'm already most the way through week 8 and can't wait to show you guys what she's done in the next update.
