Handling Low Temperatures & Strong Growth
This week, we faced low temperatures, but thankfully, the root heater helped to stabilize conditions. Despite the chill, Runtz is thriving and pushing forward with impressive growth! 🌱🔥
My grow buddy mentioned that the light green leaf tips could be a sign of rapid growth—I really hope that applies to the buds later on as well! 🤞
I topped the plant, and she responded as expected. During this transition phase after topping, I always find it tricky to judge whether the plant is bouncing back healthy. When there’s lots of side branch growth, it's clear that everything is going great, but since topping changes growth patterns, it’s not always easy to assess.
So far, everything looks solid—the main stem healed well, and the bands don’t seem to stress the plant too much. By the end of the week, the lowest branches have already grown past the main leaves, showing strong progress! 🚀🌿
Since the leaf stems are developing a noticeable red coloration, I’ve decided to hold off on further training for now.
