Hey now, hope everyone is staying safe and having a great week. The Glueberry OG started to stretch here in the past couple days and picked up 5 inches in the last 5 days, so we will see how long she continues to stretch. I will continue to feed her veg nutrients and and keep the medic grow spectrum x light in V1 mode as to help promote tighter internodal spacing. Once the stretch has stopped or at least almost stopped I will transition her to flower nutrients and introduce her to the flower spectrum of the light. I have started introducing UV/IR lighting to the grow tent for one hour before lights off. I just focused mainly on keeping the feeding reservoir clean, and PH'd, as well as some low stress training for her to attempt to have a nice even canopy. I am definitely more interested in flower quality than quantity at this point. I believe this lady will stretch for at least another week if not slightly longer just based on her expected harvest time of 12-13 weeks but we will see. Pretty much on autopilot right now. I've just been filling the water reservoir when needed. Last night I did a top watering to try to help push them through the last couple days. It shouldn't be much longer now. Pretty much all cloudy trichomes with hints of amber. Once I see a little more amber I'll chop. The topped girl will probably be harvested first, I think she's a little ahead of number 2.

I've started this week with a heavier defoliation. Not sure it's worth it but I want to try it anyway, might as well make experience. I want to take a break from defoliation though, she's still my first plant so I really don't want to overstress or damage her. Pistils are getting bigger and I can't wait to see the bud! Watching carefully the flowers development as I've never seen that before. Hoping in some final stretch. End of the week: she stretched almost 10 cm in four days. I love this plant. I also rised the EC to 1.7. Still waiting before switching to Canna Flora nutrients. She's beautiful and bushy, I definitely need to slow down with those little frequent defoliations tho. Don't want to stunt her growth, especially now.

Continuing to top/prune in different manners across the 14 plants. My first grow with this strain, so trying to learn what they will tolerate re recovery times. One plant (see pic) has its own thing going on! Node development is asymmetrical (like a clone) and each node has one HUGE fan and one smaller one. Not doing any training at this point (other than removing occasional fan leaves re light/air flow). I’m tempted to pull her from DWC and move her to coco and keep her in veg for a while. Might be an interesting mom!

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had rain and thunderstorms through the previous night and into the morning. We had sunshine for most of the afternoon. About 4 p.m we had severe thunderstorms and rain until about 6 p.m. There was very little hail and nothing was damaged. I went ahead and took the first node off to divert all the energy to the upper branches. Day 2 we had relief from the rain. Temperatures were in the mid to upper 70's and lots of sunshine. We have a few days of sunshine in the forecast 🙏. Day 3 we had lots of sunshine and clear skies. Highs in the upper 70's and 49% humidity. We needed the dryness. 🙏. Day 4 we had clear skies and sunshine. Temperatures were in the mid to upper 70's. Day 5 we had partly cloudy skies and temps in the middle 70's. I added some potassium and they seem to be responding well. Day 6 we had temperatures in the low 70's. Sky's were cloudy and we had showers in the evening. Day 7 we had rain the previous night and intermittently throughout the day. Temperatures were in the low 70's with cloudy skies. This week was a success. One plant doubled in height and the other two nearly did. The topping produced two beautiful new branches with lots of side branches. These girls are getting bushy, developing a little smell, and will make some fine buds.

Day 58: Added another scrog net for stability 8-10 inches above lower net.

Topped and transplanted into larger pots and removed a couple of large fan leafs to allow light to reach lower arms, I also chopped the lowest branches and have kept as clones for another setup.

And there ready along with there big sister 67 days in flower to achieve the best smell I’ve ever smelt, these plants weren’t touched at all, not one leaf was removed throughout the entire grow, no nutrients, no PH the water, and I think it just shows for its self. same plan for drying and curing as the big one, will be back with a smoke review. The plants look a bit damaged and need some care as I was on holiday for a couple of weeks. They have been watered every 2-3 days but have not received any further care, despite this they have grown quite a bit. Durban Poison is the first to start flowering. Frisian Dew wants to continue growing skywards, I think the story of the beans growing up to the sky will soon have to be rewritten. I will then hire a ladder to measure the size of the Frisian Dew. The Shaman and the Frisian Dew are about to start flowering in the second week of August. The Shaman in the garden has had a huge growth spurt. I haven't veen around for a while but my plant kept on doing her thing, she looks gorgeous now, she is full on flowering and I am extremely happy with how this grow is going, in the next week or 2 I will replace that 45w blurple with 60w led quantum board filled with samsung lm281b diodes which should set me up for blooming perios when the buds stack, I nearly filled the 55x45cm screen and I'm expecting high yield after I install the new LED board
