Strain: Chocolate Haze (Royal Queen Seeds) Medium: Coco bricks (Action budget bricks – hell yeah 💰) Light cycle: 12/12 from seed Grow Style: No training, no stress – just flow Grow Medium Prep: 500L of coco – never again in one go 😅 The Kickoff 🚀 This run started off wild and direct – no veg time, straight into 12/12 with Chocolate Haze. I wanted a quick turnaround and thought, hey, why wait? I germinated 14 seeds, hoping for at least 9 strong ladies. Ended up with 11 survivors – not bad! First few weeks were a bit chaotic: stretching due to low light (I tucked the seedlings under mature plants, which I do not recommend 😆), and the coco prep took way longer than expected. But hey, that's the game. Early Veg/Bloom — Lessons Learned pH: Started a bit high; some light green leaves at first EC: Too low at 1.3 — they weren't having it. Upped to 1.7 and then to 2.1 later Environment: New extractor dropped temps way down (25°C vs my usual 30°C). Thought it would help, but growth felt slower Coco quirks: They looked overwatered at times, but coco is tricky like that. Eventually, roots hit the bottom and they took off Around mid-March (3 weeks in), pistils showed up – officially the start of flower. I topped them once just before full bloom kicked in. Always a strange move, cutting healthy plants... but they bounced back beautifully. Nice and bushy now. Week 2–5 Flowering 🌸 These ladies are small but mighty. Not tall, but full of energy. The canopy is tight and even (except for one shorty), and they've been stretching like crazy — classic sativa move. Had to raise the lights twice in two days. I’ll probably do some defoliation soon to slow things down a bit. Environment is now dialed in: Temp: 30°C with lights on RH: Holding nicely in that humid sweet spot CO₂: Set to 500ppm (passive mostly, no full-on enrichment) Feeding is now solid, color has recovered beautifully, and the buds are starting to form nice stacks. I’ve kept it low-stress — no nets, no heavy training, just letting them do their thing. Observations & Setup Tweaks 🔧 Ventilation: Running the fan at just 30% now. Tent takes 18 seconds to vacuum seal, which tells me airflow is minimal – less CO₂ loss. CO₂ System: Minimal usage at 500 ppm. I’m not going all-out with gas bottles; it’s just there as a buffer. Structure: These Chocolate Haze plants don’t get tall, but they do fill out nicely. Perfect for a space where height is limited. Auto side note: One of the autos in the same tent is way taller, but less dense. Makes me appreciate the Chocolate Haze structure even more. Current Status (April 17) 📆 We’re deep into flower now — week 5, and it shows. Buds are swelling and resin production is kicking in. Nothing major to report (which is kind of the point of this grow — set and forget). Just a slight dry issue with one auto, which I adjusted on the Blumats. Besides that? Happy plants, happy grower. 🌞 Check the latest pics — they speak for themselves. Final Thoughts (So Far) 💭 This Chocolate Haze grow has been chill, efficient, and surprisingly hands-off. The direct 12/12 schedule really works when you're going for a fast cycle with minimal hassle. And even though I’m usually more into hybrids, this sativa-dominant lady is winning me over — the structure, the vigor, the smell… mmm. Now we wait for the real magic — the last few weeks of flower. Noticed some wind burn 🍃 🔥 on the plant/leaves closest to the fan. Moved it and accidentally hurt the plant again. SCROG-adjustments-woes! UGGGH! Lesson learned... Once scrogged... Tough to readjust! Be extra careful. The red hairs 🌹 are showing up with some already leaning and wilting down. Really excited for them to fruit! 🍓 I am definitely growing at least two phenotypes of TD. One that is meant to be very tall and w very thinned out long leaves -- heavily sativa. And one that is the "more common" pheno. I now understand what this whole pheno-hunting term means. NOOB GROWER THOUGHTS, WEEK 8 -- This grow isn't even done and I am already thinking of my next. I've definitely bought too many seeds. And my grow space is waaay too limited. I will expand once I move to a new place.. and already have a plan for an eternal harvest. More tents 🎪, more seeds 🌱, more everything ... It's official, folks... I'm addicted to growing! Начинаю тренировку растения 💪 Пару дней не заглядывал в бокс, от растяжки надломилась ветка в верхнем междоузлии. Не паникую(мы же на расслабоне гровим 😜), надломил до хруста противоположную ветку, для симметрии, и временно убрал растяжки. Ну вот, планировал не мучать свой автоцвет, но пока не выходит 😈 В конце недели собираюсь делать плановую промывку. 👉Таки доделал досвет низов по периметру, ближе к началу цветения будем тестировать, оставайтесь на связи. Now that all plants are in the ground we have started to train the plants by topping and lst, nearly all my autos are transitioning into flower, the semi autos are grow massive will get some close ups on the weekend

The more training you give your plant the bigger and better it will get. Colas forming up and smell already there Also dont worry i just sprayed the buds with just water to refresh them

The stretch in some of these has been crazy, lights been maintained at 30inch also.. the living soil seems to be doing the trick, can’t wait to see what happens the following days with the way there growing, dehumidifier added, maintaining between 60-65%. Temperature also nicely at 20-23c.. untill next week 👊🏻

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

Only given water so far, house and garden bat special is strong in nutes.

Increased nutrients to 11ml/gal each. Trichomes still mostly clear. Several weeks of flower left yet.

Critical is definetly a sativa strain, as she just wants to grow straight up. I wanted to take pictures before i defoliated but, i forgot. Sorry guys but next week i will definetly post before trimming. No smell yet, but she is comming along nicely. Was thinking of trying the Supercropping method with this strain let me know what yall think, as critical does respond very well to any training. It started flowering last week. This is week five day 36 from seed. Same everything

Vegetative Week 7 – Pineapple Upside Down (Round 2) This week confirms a very good recovery following last week’s defoliation and pruning. As shown in the photos, the plant bounced back quickly and shows strong vegetative vigor. Leaf mass has rebuilt nicely, and overall growth looks healthy and well-balanced. There are no signs of stress or slowdown at this stage. After the structural work, light intensity was temporarily reduced to avoid additional stress. Now that the plant is clearly responding well, light power has been increased again to around 50%, corresponding to roughly 150 watts in full-spectrum. For now, the plan is to let the plant continue growing and building strength. The four main branches that were previously selected need a bit more growth before starting any low-stress training. Once they elongate further, light LST will be applied to begin shaping the plant’s final structure. A move to a larger grow space is planned later, but there is no urgency at this stage. Overall, everything is stable and progressing well. See you next week. Take care.

Transplanted into a 3 gallon fabric pots. Cut off couple of the dried tips off the blue gelato, not sure what's up with it, the other two girl got topped left the gelato alone you can see why other than little blue everything is looking as I expected
