Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Week 8 day 56. Trichomes are turning milky, most still clear. I should of defoliated before but this being my 1st auto flower and me being a newbie I didn't want to take the chance. Lessons learnt for next time. Day 61. Approaching 9 week mark. Buds are getting frosty. Not sure if I should give more nutrient or just continue topping up with water. No sign of amber. Pistils on top buds are changing to brown.

First week! What a joy! This Banana Purple Punch is off to a great start, popping out of the soil with no shell on. Spending 36hrs in water, 36hrs in a paper towel, then 48hrs under the soil before popping her head up into the light. The light schedule I'm following is 20/4 under two 100w LEDs running around 80% at 650mm above the babies. They're receiving 150-200umol's at roughly 11-14 DLI. Organic medium and nutes so just watering in around 200mL of dechlorinated water at 6.6 pH per day. I figured I want to get this medium nice and moist for the microbes to thrive so I've been bottom watering 200mL extra every other day, with a gap day today as the pots are nice and weighty now. I'm running my ventilation on an hour on, hour off schedule during Veg to take the pressure off my heaters and humidifier. (power bill) We're heading into winter and my grow is in an insulated lung room in my garage, so the fresh air can get down past 0 celcius and 30% humidity although the heaters keep the environment at 23-25 degrees celcius. A few trials I'm working through, but the environment is pretty steady and I'm a happy gardener so far. Welcome baby BPP 🍌

Day 9 flower: Orange Sherbet: This girl is a pleasure to grow so far. Her budlets dwarf the others in the room so far and at only 9 days flowering , shows a good indication of the overall finish she should have. she is packing buds on all over her structure now and following her defol on day 7 , she has really pumped them up. The shogun boost is a killer concoction it seems. Cannot fault this lady at all to date. She is slightly tacky now too which is a shock for her age. Cookie Kush : This lady is a midget !!! She is a lot smaller than other kush strains i have grown but looks healthy enough. I think her housemates dont help as they are all such good growers. She is big enough to keep up with the canopy but will need encouraging constantly to match them at some point.

She’s still stretching! This week I removed Voodoo Juice, Tarantula and Piranha, and added B-52 and Bud Factor X (never tried this one before). Since the princess loves this 2ml/L dosage for NPK nutes, I’ll not be touching that for the moment. That seems to be the optimal dosage for a sativa like this. Very nice!
