The tent is definitely overcrowded, they're starting to really take-off. I need to get the females I'm going to force pollen outside but it's still too cold. I may have to make a makeshift grow area for a month. Aquarium water: 6.82pH 395 PPM 73.4⁰F I used Bloom City pH Down until I hit 6pH

I have had a blast growing this plant inside this LEAF unit. There was very little I had to do in order to have so much plant. I cannot wait to add another diary with some more grows. The smell of the plant is incredible and will only get better. The smoke is gentle, and it actually leaves a Minty feeling in your mouth, this was surprising but really cool given the name of the plant. Room continues to pump out growth. HEat and humidity were an issue this week, but was managed with multiple garden visits and some air diversion. Extremely impresed with all genetics in the garden and there has not been any growth issues to date. 5 weeks complete, another 5 more to smoke. Thanks for following. I had to go out of town twice for 5 days for a business trip. Minor errors occurred at that time. It's an easy genre overall. You should not be afraid of fertilizing too much. I'll be back with comments on taste, dry weight and feel. By the way, I'm waiting for your dry weight estimates, I think it will be between 145-165 grams.

Another great week she is starting to look more finished. I've bumped down nutes this week and are still watering at 6.0+-0.2 ph. Next week i will start the flush and then it's harvest time 😁

Week 3, i defoliated a few of the biggest fanleaves on both plants now i just going to let them go the stretch has stopped and now the buds will grow i can already tell the forbidden fruit is my new favorite strain, the color, the smell is just perfect 🤩 😄 i wish i vegged her a few weeks longer

Harvested 2 of 8 plants today. 90% or more trichomes were white with a few amber here or there. All pistils brown on the 2. 2 more plants should be ready within 2 days. The others are still a week out.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. MAY 20TH - TODAY is the first day the plants wake up from their 18/6 cycle down from 2 weeks at 20/4. They got their first SCHWAZZE and shaping at this stage getting them ready to grow into the beautiful sea of green each of these beds are to become. The uniformity of the clones reminds me how much of this has become muscle memory to me, From doing thousands of plants per grow this has become second nature for me. 4/20 Still having trouble getting seeds to grow! 4 out of 6 seeds from the initial pop have died, so I've popped one more Chemdogging and one more Sour Diesel. Placed the popped seeds directly in the pot they'll stay in for the whole grow per suggestions. Built a 30"x36" trellis out of 3/4" PVC pipe, will install a double trellis netting on it once I set up the Blumat watering system. Also added in a smart power strip that now has built-in timers I can control from my phone. Organized all my extra grow equipment and cleaned up the room! The little pots in the photos are some random seeds I'm starting off in here to give to some friends to grow outdoors. 4/25 - sour diesel popped up today! 5/2 Still no luck getting the Chemdogging to sprout, currently waiting on C-dog and a Blackberry auto to sprout in my other two pots. Set up some random plants from seeds I found in a bag of Black Lime and Cookies, put them in a separate room to flower so I can find out if they're female.

It’s so warm today! Of course I pulled all my plants out to spray with spinosad an feed/water. +++++++++++ I use a Hudson 2L sprayer. My partner used to work in the film industry and they found this brand of sprai gets the most thorough even coverage for makeup or whatever movie magic the use sprayers to create. It’s great. +++++++++++ I’m using some baking soda in water to combat some mild pmd, but it’s not bad. +++++++++++ These ICE BOMBS are troopers. They were definitely affected by the spider mites but hung in there three the various sprays which were hard on leaves even though I pulled them out and didn’t return them under the light until they dried. +++++++++++ Some fungal gnats come with the humidity so I topdressed with gnat nix. I don’t believe I overwater so I hope that’s the solution! I think I may wait another week or two and get things more stable before moving to flower.
