She’s was a pleasure from the beginning to the end. I’m very pleased with her. She smells like overwhelming Vanilla and oranges. So citrusy and fire. She’s sooo dense it’s unbelievable. I’m very pleased with how she grew.

Strange week for the plants as I switch in Hygrozyme Enzyme to help with the roots. A lot of dead tissue being consumed by beneficial microbes and fungi. PH rise more than 10 fold every 24 hours while EC levels rise by a point or two. The old roots are dying and being consumed new while bright, crisp, white roots are appearing. New growth is vigorous and the plants seem to enjoy the transition as hard as it is. Week 1 and the first round of testing for this recent new cross. The F1 generation of Northern Spice. Germination was a full 100% with varying degrees of development across 3 days in the towel. Oddly however, about half of the beans cracked the shell head first with their cotelydons. Stability is always suspect with F1s anyway, but this kind of sampling, this early is concerning somewhat. We’ll see where it goes. On another topic, we also made some big changes to the grow method this cycle. We’ve moved over to a grow system by the bucket company. Fairly similar to the Dutch bucket design, just without the small reservoir in each bucket that acts as an additional insurance policy. So far, she’s purr’n like a kitten👌. Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, mixed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower.

2 weeks to flower in main tent. Red Hot May have had a little nute burn. Lighting is at 628 on Par meter. 78deg avg. Malt was accidentally super cropped. Healing from splitting her branch. Oozecake aka Judy is my prize now. She fought through some mold 1st week. Transplanted her with only 1 node. Then her 2nd transplant to 1 gallon she was stunted for a week.

They are maturing nicely! There are some brown patches on leaves which I think was caused by overfert, so I've lowered the dosages a little bit. I think that I was giving them too much calmag, since all other Biobizz products are below 50% recommended. I'm hoping to harvest the BD and the SD in 2 weeks, let's see.

I believe the plants still have a little stretch in them. They have not grown much since the bud production picked up last week. The berry bomb still seems to work well off lite nutrients. The smell has started to choose days that it stinks, and days it is invisible. I live in a legal state; I am allowed up to 12 plants. Smell is not a issue for me. I do not need to hide my grows. I had to set up a wire tie on the plant in the videos. She started to lean right. While setting it up the smell that stuck to my gloves was very fruity. I cannot wait to smoke the final out come. The berry bomb auto has been super resilient to most common grow issues. She also bounces back insanely quick fro stress. This is not something I have seen in many auto flowers due to the limited time they have to grow, and bud. I am so impressed by the genetics of this plant. I'm just blown away with this grow.

Week 3 flower started with a small crisis. I checked the tent at the end of week 2 and found a bit of powdery mildew on Orangecello. I had been lazy with the defoliation and slacked on Dr Zymes applications. I trimmed it up and checked the rest. I had to go back to work before I could check Blueberry Muffin, but when I came back to finish up, I was horrified to see it was the worst of all. I had to really go heavy with defoliation, removing any visible PM. That night I sprayed again with more Dr Zymes, and a small bit the following night to kill anything I couldn't see. I will have to spray weekly until finish and pray it doesn't come back. I had planned to wait a week to defoliate but nature had other plans. Now everyone is slightly lollipopped and trimmed up nicely. First week for the bloom boost/terpene enhancer. Added that and calmag to the watering this week, and planning to give another bit of micro next watering. Made another tea this week: 1cup Earthworm Castings 2 tbsp Uprising Bloom 9ml/gal micro 6ml/gal calmag 5ml/gal bloom booster 1 dash Great White The tent is really smelling amazing these days. The little buds are fattening up and starting to frost nicely. Can't wait to see them get huge!

11/2: Both Sweet Zkittlez are looking great, as is the first Black Jack. The other Black Jack has popped and is growing in the DWC cloner for a couple days. Neither Gorilla Girl has popped yet. 11/3: One of the Zkittlez, the Black Jack, and a few other seedlings suddenly look like they are starving, so I fed them and am foliar feeding with a kelp/fish emulsion product every few hours.😕 I can see some green just below the surface on both Gorilla Girls now...fingers crossed. 11/4: I planted the baby Black Jack today and foliar fed them a few times. The Zkittlez with the deficiency looks better today, but her first set of leaves won't last long... Neither Gorilla Girl has emerged yet... 11/7: The younger Black Jack is starting to catch up now. Both Gorilla Girls popped and got planted on the 5th, late at night. Both SZ's look great...the one that was deficient has corrected and is doing well now.
