Week 9 - Fourth Week of Flower The Donutz gang is hitting its stride as the fourth week of flower unfolds. Trichomes are developing beautifully, and the plants are entering full production mode. A few challenges cropped up this week, but quick thinking and some DIY ingenuity kept everything on track. Key Updates: Trichome Progress: The resin glands are popping off, with a frosty layer forming across the developing buds. The plants are starting to show their true potential, and the tent is starting to smell. New Fan Installation: The old ventilator tapped out this week, so a replacement was installed to maintain proper airflow. This ensures the plants stay cool and prevents any issues with humidity or stagnant air. Lamp Adjustment: The front-left plant shot up too close to the light, so I had to get creative. I built a DIY solution to raise the lamp higher, ensuring even coverage and preventing light stress. Accident Recovery: During the light adjustment, I initially tried securing the front-left plant with a rubber band. Concerned it might melt, I removed it, but in the process, the main stem got damaged. Thankfully, the plant is a fighter. The main cola is now growing sideways but remains fully healthy and strong. This unexpected twist has added some character to the tent, and the plant is bouncing back beautifully. Observations: Despite the challenges, all plants are thriving, with strong growth and healthy bud development. The sideways-growing cola on the front-left plant is a unique highlight, showing the resilience of the Donutz genetics. Next Steps: Keep monitoring airflow and light height to avoid any further issues. Continue with the nutrient schedule and reverse osmosis (RO) watering to maintain stability. I'm watering her almost every day. 2 lt. The only mistake I make is the pebble at the bottom of the pot. Keep plant dry. But increase ph the water stagnant. She is a cover of buddies. Short internode. Compared to hydro.

Woche 4 Der kleinen Malibu OG geht es sichtlich gut. Aus 4 wird 8 gemacht. Damit sie den Stress etwas besser verkraftet gibt es vor und nach dem Schnitt Hesi Root. Ebenso noch einmal vor und nach dem anstehenden Umtopfen in 20l Stofftöpfe. Tag 26 Alles gut. Weiter so. Tag 28 Triebe werden leicht nach außen gebogen, aber nicht fixiert.

Hi💚 Jack Frost Widow after 71 days. As fast as promised and she has been harvested a few hours later. Nearly all Trichomes were milky, a very few amber. She's got a fruity scent, I'd say strawberry. Her sister smelled like orange bud. It was fun taking part in the ATAMI competition with this plant and I can definitely say that all ATAMI fertilizers, booster and stimulants I used seem to be quite effective as some pics also tell. Easy to handle, not too costly and save to use. I've been using more aggressive mineral nutrients in the past when I started indoor growing and experienced symptoms of overfeeding many times back then. This ATAMI line I used is much smoother, yet effective. Unfortunately I didn't read the rules of the contest correctly and didn't take six pics of the living plant with ATAMI products. So I had to take them after having harvested her nearly completely😂🙃 I'll be wiser with the other two strains in the contest🍀 Peace and happy growing 💚 🍀 ⭐🖖🏼

Stretch has finished. Starting full on bloom formula. I always use 50% of what the listed recommended amount is. Full dose is just too strong. Major defoliation three days ago. Filling in fast. Will not defoliate much now till preharvest other than removing leaves to expose bud sites. Next week is the first flower flush. 24 hours straight water, then back to nutes. Always perks them up. PPMs dropped in number 2 this week from 800ish PPMs to 600ish PPMs. 1 is a much lighter feeder. The root mass of each are so different. 2 is long like a hippy's ponytail while 1 is more like a wispy, wiry Afro. Both are healthy and continueing to stack well. Frost is showing and the aroma is quite strong already. On day 1 week 2 flower the Gals are really stretching now, hope I have enough room 😂They seem to be taking the flower nutes well even without a transition phase 😀. On day 3 the gals have stretched so much they are within 6 in of my light hoping The stretch will slow down soon yikes 😱. I defoliated the lower and upper canopy to bring in more light and air flow. On day 6 the stretch seems to be slowing down. I increased my light intensity from 75% to 100% to see if I can halt anymore stretching. I also bent my highest colas down as they were touching the grow light 😂. On day 7 flower clusters are forming and the stretch has slowed. I will continue to bend over the tallest colas and do my best to manage the canopy without too much loss of yield. It looks like some of my colas might get light stressed/burnt. There is not much else I can do except learn from my mistakes...next time I would flip the plants earlier and give them stronger light intensity before flowering stretch. The top leaves are canoeing so I reduced light intensity back to 75% to see if they improve. I got my first clog in my blumat systems main line... I will be switching to liquid based fertilizers for the next run as I believe my fertilizer caused the clog. I released the clog by using a pipette filled with water. I took the pipette and squeezed liquid through the main line exiting my reservoir. Then the lines were running smooth 😂

09/08/2021 - Fly traps collected a plethora of gnats - Had to till the first few inches of the soil while top dressing, as it was incredibly hard and dry - Fertilized with Gaia Green Power Bloom + EWC + insect frass - Carefully watered with a half gallon tea of DIY kelp extract, molasses, LAB and neem extract

Hi guys. Week 7 is almost over. They finally start to stretch. Feed them with max nuts for the first time. So far I can't see any problems, they love the light, air, water.. Fingers crossed I also trim all th lover branches and leaves so thay can fill those upper buds... One love!!

Only been around 4-5 days since planting and so far so good. Drinking plenty of water so expecting a big growth spurt. Can’t wait to see how they turn out.

Alright, so I want you to ignore what I said in this video about harvest speculation. Looking at the trichs, it looks like Gen 2 is coming down this weekend because she does have some amber right now, but Rogue One will probably need another week. All I know is I'm getting worried with how close everyone is getting here at the end. I won't have time for anything else. GAH! 😵 But Gen 2 looks beautiful and Rogue One is Gawgeous! (channeling my inner JVN) The top cola on Rogue One is going to be huge and I am praying that it doesn't get any mold or inchworms because it will be a sight to behold! I just can't believe the improvement it's had in the past few weeks. She has risen like a phoenix, and she is fierce!

06/06 - As we get closer to harvest the prep work will begin by the end of this coming week - I will give them 1 maybe 2 more nutrient feeds then switch to clean water with Carbo flush to remove the salt build up in the clones - I have dropped the light intensity to about 25% to allow for the trichomes and terps to set under ideally conditions. They will also get the bigger leaves defoliated little by little as we approach harvest.. 😎😎😎😎 06/07 - The babies are coming along perfectly without any issues - Since increasing the Cane Molasse dosage for their feeds trichome development has increased tremendously - Dropped the light intensity by 25% - maintaining low temps and average humidity through out harvest - She will receive 1 maybe 2 more nute feeds before flushing with clean water - The cold water treatment seems to be working with positive results in terps and trichomes. 06/10 - As we near harvest I will only be applying one maybe 2 more nute feeds and that will be it - Clean water feeds after that for about a week then chopping down - The last 2 feeds will consist of heavy silica for nutrient absorption and Cane molasses for terp setting and trichome build up - currently the nuggs are dense and rich in resin - I will be trimming in 3 stages ( 1 wet trim prior to cut down and 2 after harvest both dry ). Frost Banger week 11. This one for sure is impressive. Quick growth, massive buds and covered in frost. Today I will harvest. We will see if she smokes as good as she looks.
