Both girls are healthy and going strong, a little cal/mag deficiency on auto#1 but other than that all is good. Auto #2 has turned out bigger than auto#1 but auto #1 is definitely more purple. She was nearly lost before she began. After 24 hours in water, I planted her directly in Bio365 soil. But she didn’t break the surface. By day four, I gently brushed the soil and found her buried deep but alive—a yellow curl with promise. I left her lightly covered, and by morning, Ada broke through. This week was about not giving up too early. A reminder that growth often happens unseen. We started slow, but we started strong.

Well we finally reached the end. The last week was more cruise control. Just trying to remove the big fan leaves that's blocking any flowers. The trichomes looking kinda ready but still acceptable. During the last few days I maintained a daytime Humidity of around 60 and nighttime of 55. Temperatures are between 73 degrees and 67 degrees. Two days before chop they got 48 hrs of dark and 3 days of no water to add to the stress. After the 48hrs darkness all the ladies Came out extra frosty. Loving the change of hues on the blue gelato. The vanilla Kush is very oily and very very strong smell. Not a strong smell coming off the OrangeGelato though. The green gelato has a creamy smell.

Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find it worked with the Main lining: we did topping on the third internode, we worked the very small brunches in growth trying to keep them low up to the third internode and then topped again. We are topping on the laterals but some have been eliminated, the plant is at a low internode distance and they are not the most suitable in my opinion for this technique but I do them anyway, it's really fun and the result is also very pleasing to the eye. A few more days and it will start flowering. Slow down the use of nitrogen during this technique, you may not need everything that is recommended by the manufacturers. So if the leaves become too dark or, worse, the tips of the leaves arch downwards and the leaf becomes "crunchy", it is time to lighten or stop the basic fertilizer. Comparison is the salt of experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to compare. We have started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). I harvested Whiskey Zulu at 75 days, it smells amazing and isn't building anymore. It's a really light and airy structure but smells like a super funky sour grandaddy purple. I quick dried and smoked some lowers and the flavor reminds me of GDP x Amherst Sour Diesel × an earthy og (with a slight note of northern lights.) Fantastic flavor and potency. It's like I'm smoking multiple buds at the same time—it's so complex. Makes me want to find and breed this pheno to get this flavor on a bigger plant with a decently dense bud structure. The flavor profile is nothing like anybody online said about it that I could find. Serious stuff for a freebie

11/10 - Last night I did some late-night defoliation and removed about 30 good sized fan leaves and made some minor adjustments to her ScrOG positioning. She drank steadily through the week and once she drank down about 1 gal (4 days), I checked tds/pH. She measured in at 520ppm and 6.8pH. This was outside of my desired range in both values, so I decided to top-off with some legit full-strength nutes to balance the scales. After adding the solution, she measured 650ppm and 6.2pH. Not ideal, but acceptable for the moment. I feel like every day I check on her, her roots have gotten even bigger.

Defoliated these ladies, still have the feeling that not enough I took down. What do you all think? Overall condition is great and buds are surprisingly well established at this stage. Stems already shaking some more weight and they gonna drop down easily.
