Day 4 - light LST training. This window is very small to Train correctly and not lost any main stems..the knuckle tends to solidify quite quickly and begins to swell if feed properly...making bending by the knuckle risky

This strain was an easy girl to grow. Very vigorous and towered over her double grape sister. She didn't develop the most dense nugs but I will attribute that to my lame light setup during this grow. She grew under 2 mars 300s and 1 hlg65 4000k in between. I've rolled 1 joint that got me pretty baked. I would judge this particular pheno as sativa leaning. I also vaped a bowl through the mighty and she still has a very green taste because She hasn't been curing very long. She developed a beautiful color when she ripened at the end of flower and yielded 54.8 dry grams of beautiful buds. I had probably another 40 or 50 grams of trim from this lady also. Next time I grow this strain, I will be dropping her in a much bigger pot. Harvested when trichomes were mostly foggy with maybe 5% amber. The biggest auto I have grown yet.

Noticed some minor clawing over the weekend, likely excess nitrogen. Flushed yesterday and will stop feeding veg nutes moving forward. Photos/video taken 98 days after breaking soil, day 21 of flower.

Week 2 Both plants looking great so far , good growth rate 📈 and looking healthy so far. Boosting a bit nutrients to see how much they can take to maximize their potential starting later this week. Roots have been already all over the bottom of the pots while looking thick and healthy 💥 D4 Applied some foliar feed this morning while turning off the lights for an hour till they dried /sucked up all the juice from their leaves. mixture was basically water with 1ml/lt boost accelerator. Both look really nice and healthy in other news 🍀😅

Esta semana realicé el lavado de raiz con flawess finish( 2ml x litro de agua) en 2 ocasiones luego sigo el riego normal hasta el día del corte que será la próxima semana. Ha quedado sin hojas prácticamente.

Had no time to update the diary. In week 5 of veg plants thrived as well. Im going to take clones in week 6, 12 in total And flip them into bloom. Gave them 3L with 5ml/l connoisseur. 1ml/L calmag Because I noticed some deficiencies starting to show.. Understandably so, you can see how much they grow the last few days, they needed some food!

Having just started a Sweet seeds + speed Auto, Red poison auto from sweet seeds was next on my list to be grown with Jack 47 in my arsenal after that. I'm already growing some sensible seeds strains so I didn't want to dip into them. I considered buying a seed for the 'one girl one cup challenge' aka Solo cup competition but knew I'd send myself crazy deciding which I should use. I had half decided I wanted to go Indica dominant as an entry for their shorter size anyway so...... after looking at images online of the Red Poison, I thought it would actually be a good choice. "....So a 16oz cup is a what now?" pint - no litre- no half pint - no 500ml - nope 473ml - yes, ah ha! 473ml = Nothing, the size doesn't exist in the UK. online I can get 10 delivers fow a few quid. I'm not paying that, I'll find something..... Closest ( It's near perfect to be honest) I found was an, ahem... recent... 30 and fab cup. I've videoed it's contents as proof I'm thinking as Indica she's gonna drink a lot (compared to sativas in my opinion) but I also have no drainage. Even though I think she may be a big drinker, I'm not worried about her drying out so much, she'll quickly bounce back from a drying out with a drink. I'm more worried of Over watering I still need to (at time of writing this) actually make a homemade tent first, buy some (probably 2) cheap bulb fixtures, I've still got some foil blanket left from other tents I've made and I've got some spare house hold LEDs I'll bang something together......

I guess I first have to extend a big thank you to James and the folks at RQS. The genetics of their “Northern Light” did not disappoint and this was a no fuss grow across all categories. This will be the only time you hear me refer to Northern Lights in the singular. It’s kinda like calling a “pickerel” a “walleye” - you just don’t do that up here😉. She took well to training, showed no signs of lockout or deficiency, and we were at the top limits of botanicare’s recommended feeding schedule the whole time. I’d call this typical NL - the scent wasn’t overly powerful, she grew somewhat squat and while I’m actually very surprised at the final weigh (thought it would be much less), the whole grow was typical of the strain in my experience. Possibly her biggest limiting factor was simply space constraints. The photos pretty obviously demonstrate that she got really crowded out by the neighbouring kush and I wouldn’t be surprised at all if she’d have done a little better with some more room. That said, what isn’t “typical” are the effects. RQS touts this as a cup winner and I can see why. Had the opportunity to sample a little and WHOA! She Hits with a lasting, cerebral and euphoric effect that starts as a light, happy high. Not a crippling or dulling effect at all. Just everything you’d expect from a well rounded strain in general. Perfect. I almost wanna describe it as a classic sativa but I’ve been smoking nothing but a pure indica for so many months now that anything different is gonna feel that way 😂.
