All looking healthy the one strawb banana that didn’t germ ended up sprouting out the soil but I think the shrooms claimed the soil first my bad fast buds smashing it as usual 🤟giving them 24hrs of darkness trying to harden them off for outdoor end of this week hopefully waiting on last bits to arrive for the soil

2/26: I harvested her on the night of the 26th. She was live trimmed, chopped and washed, and hung to dry. 3/2: Still drying in the closet...smells very strongly of elderberries and gasoline.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Hola a todos!! Esta semana prácticamente no he fertilizado, ya que luego de un breve lavado note que los valores de ppm aun seguía siendo alto..(1700...1800), entonces segui regando solo con agua, con bajas ppm 500 ppm aprox. Recien ayer logre bajar las ppm , no asi el ph, del drenaje, me viene dando 7.2, pero a pesar de todos estos inconvenientes, a la planta se la ve engordando los cogollos.En esta semana se estiro 4 cms solamente, pero los cogollos están creciendo de buena manera. El lavado lo hice el día 44 con 7 litros de agua con ph 6 y ppm 500, luego de un buen rato de drenaje medi y en ese entonces parecían haberse corregidos, pero al siguiente riego dia 46( lo hice con 2lts de agua) me volvió a dar valores altos. Para no generar un mal ambiente para la planta, la deja descansar 2 días, y ayer (dia48) volvi a regar y al fin las ppm han bajado a 900, el ph aun sigue dando alto, pero como mencione antes la planta demuestra que cualquier inexperto la puede cultivar, porque se aguanta todo ese stress😅😅 . He notado que esta cepa, tiene notas como cítricas, es un olor rico🤩🤩🤩🤩.

Day 39: Things are going well. Did add some sticks to support some plants. Because I put many plants per m2, stems and branches are weaker as when only having a few plants per m2. Those will have a nicer expose from the airfans. Because of a compact cantopy,with lots of plants per m2, mine are''lazy'' and don't get much wind. So they didn't invest much in growing thick and having strong branches. There will be no problem with that since they will support each other and I will be using many sticks. - I have to adjust my fans again, they have to be putted higher. - Some plants that I didn't top, stretched alot lol. Might have to find a spot for them together under the same lamp. Might update again at the end of this week if I feel like too. See y'all next week.

She is doing better now with the Nitrogen she looks much better but she is a heavy Nitrogen feeder. And the Plagron Start Up is doing really good its like steroids for ht eplant. Next week monday I will start to flip the switch to 12/12.

A great week for the girls, an explosion of flower growth. They are not the largest Autoflower’s, but they are robust. The main cola is about 9 inches, with tight bud spacing and stacking. The satellite buds are also nice size with some good density. These girls have not shown any issues with the cronk nutrient/dosage that has been given, while some of the others have been more finicky. They are feeling greasy, and have a some good terps starting as I open the tent. RH has been kept between 55-58 % while temps have gotten as high as 81, but typically hover around 78 degrees. They are getting close to a gallon of water at feed time, which is about every 4 days. I’m happy with these girls so far as there are a several weeks left in their cycle. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could. *Decreased Light Intensity (600W) *Decreased Wind Velocity on canopy Almost approaching the start of week 3. Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed ) Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops. Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high. Week 13! I have decided to stagnant harverst her in two parts as there is fresh growth in her lower half that the light cannot reach and the top buds are mature now and at the optimal cloudy trichomes I'm looking for are present. Look at all those trichomes heavy leaf and buds! She is heavy and smelling amazing with hints of fruit and cookies. I will also be flushing her next week! What an amazing journey, coming to an end!
