🌿 Mango Kush — Harvest Report (Week 7 Flower → Harvest) Grow Diaries — From Seed to Soul After months of nurturing, tuning, and watching the Mango Kush sisters evolve, today we finally harvest. What began as two seeds—two phenos with two destinies—has become a garden symphony of light, resin, and patience. Genetic Journey — From Seed to Harvest Pheno #1: Started in veg before flipping; taller, more expressive stretch; structured and vigorous. Pheno #2: Ran 12/12 from seed—shorter cycle, smaller frame, but incredibly dense. Different paths, same destination. Despite the variation, both finished side by side, their trichomes shimmering like frost under the lens. From the very first true leaves to the last amber sparkle, this grow embodied the full spectrum of plant life. Both phenos shared that unmistakable Mango Kush sweetness—fruit-forward, creamy, with earthy Kush undertones that deepen as they cure. 🔬 Trichomes — The Living Resin We harvested with trichomes at about 75 % cloudy, a few ambers scattered, and a few clears clinging on. Why this timing? Cloudy trichomes → peak THC, most psychoactive potency. Amber trichomes → oxidized cannabinoids, deeper body stone, slightly less heady. Clear trichomes → undeveloped, lighter high, harsher burn. By cutting at ~75 % cloudy, we captured the perfect balance between energy and depth—a clean, full-spectrum effect with robust THC, trace CBD, and terpenes locked in their prime. Inside each trichome lives a micro-world of medicine: Cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG)—psychoactive and therapeutic agents. Terpenes (myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene)—aroma, flavor, entourage synergy. Flavonoids & esters—color, nuance, antioxidant value. It’s chemistry turned art—and when viewed through the macro lens, pure alien beauty. 🌸 The Harvest — Dense, Loud, and Sticky Both plants produced compact, heavy colas. Pheno #1: 162 g of dry, aromatic medicine. Pheno #2: 129 g—smaller, but louder in terps. Together: 291 g total of crystal-coated Mango Kush bliss. The smell? Explosive. Sweet mango and creamy Kush so strong that, without carbon filters, the neighborhood would know. 😂 And those buds—dense like stone, sparkling like snow. Trimming gloves glued with resin. Even the scissors felt high. 🌬️ Dry & Cure — The 60/60 Philosophy We dried the full plants slowly: 60 °F (15.5 °C) and 60 % RH for 14 days. Why 60/60? Because slow drying preserves volatile terpenes and ensures chlorophyll breakdown. Quick drying bakes the aroma; slow drying matures it. The science is simple: lower temperature = less terpene loss, stable humidity = even drying. After the dry, we hand-trimmed every flower using a trim-bin, collecting a rich layer of kief—a golden powder of pure cannabinoids and terpenes. 🔥 Old-School Touch — Hash & Extracts The kief was gently pressed using only hot water, glass, and hand pressure— we also did some old-school charas way. No machinery, no shortcuts. Just heat, touch, and patience. From this we crafted a small hash bar—soft, aromatic, pure. We also explored extractions with BHO/Rosin, carefully purging over three weeks until perfectly stable. Both concentrates now rest in the fridge—preserved at low temperature, rich in flavor and medicinal potential. 💨 Smoke Report — Smooth, Sweet, and Deep The first taste is soft and silky. Mango sweetness rolls in, followed by that earthy Kush finish. Inhale: Fruity and fresh. Exhale: Creamy, grounding, slightly spicy. Effect: Uplifting at first, melting into a serene, full-body calm. The smoke is gentle on the throat, rich in vapor, and incredibly aromatic. This is medicine that heals both mind and mood. 💡 Gear & Ecosystem Our ecosystem blended art and technology: TrolMaster Tent-X + WCS sensors → precise moisture, EC, and temperature tracking. Lighting: ThinkGrow Model One, ICL-300s, Future of Grow Black Series 600W, Lumatek Zeus 465W. Automation: TrolMaster ecosystem controlling airflow, CO₂, and environmental harmony. It wasn’t just a grow—it was an orchestra. 🔄 Full Journey Recap Seed Stage: Aptus Start Booster, delicate beginnings. Veg: Strong structure, lush growth under perfect PPFD balance. Pre-Flower: 12/12 flip; phenos diverged but thrived. Flower Weeks 1–4: Structure building, light & nutrient tuning. Flower Weeks 5–7: Trichomes exploding, aroma maturing. Week 8 Harvest: Mission complete—patience rewarded. 🙏 Gratitude To the community—thank you for growing, reading, laughing, and learning with us.

Ferinky

A lot happened this week. Started LST, Main-Lining and defoliation for a bigger yield in the end. When i start these 3 methods, is around the time i start to use nutriens. I like to to keep it as natural as posible.. Using the 3-1 from "PH perfect" (Micro, Bloom n' Grow). When using these 3 subs, its not necessary to use PH+ or PH-. I got some yellow tips, might be nutrien burn or light stress. Dno, its not a huge problem - gonna put the full spec to 50% for a few days.

Day 15: 3 nodes now visible on both plants. Day 16: Lights lowered. Canopy now at 20000 lux. At 22" from the canopy, my light is hanging lower than recommended by HLG but I am using a lux meter to ensure the amount of light isn't too much for my plants. I'm at home almost all day almost everyday so it's the perfect time for daily lowering of the lights and monitoring carefully. Day 17: Lowered light to increase LUX readings by another 50%. Canopy now at 30000LUX. One more lowering should bring us into optimal amount of light. Noticed a slight amount of curling on leaves last night so upped the ProCal just slightly. I make my mix using pre dosed calmag & potassium silicate water. I adjusted the final EC with this water to ensure calmag levels remain high enough to prevent the coco from "stealing" it in its own cation exchange points. Ended up adding Green Planet GPH Uptake to the lineup today for the PM feeding. Will continue at recommended dosage going forward. Also picked a foliar calmag. Made a foliar spray with recommended dose of GP Ocean Magic as well; adjusted pH to appropriate level. Did one application then ditched the Ocean Magic as you're only to use this as a foliar once weekly. Made calmag foliar spray and am now regularly using this in my mister. This will allow me to adjust with plain water as to keep the EC down and my nutrient mix stronger. Also had a revelation! Root Guard and GPH Uptake have very minimal impact on EC so therefore can be added after dilution as to insure a full dose of each of these are being applied at each feeding. Day 18: Ladies doing so great now in veg phase of growth. Calmag and Ocean Magic foliar application yesterday and continued Calmag applications throughout the day seem to have really given them a boost. Adding GPH Uptake seems to be a great addition to the lineup. It will take a few more days to truly notice the results.Looking like only a few more days until the Lamb's Breath sees its first round of LST. Noticing a bit of leaf curl on both plants. I have been fertigating with a litre of solution twice daily. I am going to reduce to once daily for at least today. Will try for smaller feeding tomorrow morning and see if I can still achieve the required 10-20% runoff with an EC no higher than 300 points more than inflow. Ceasing foliar calmag applications until plant stops showing signs of oxygen deficiencies, especially the Blue Diesel. Added a Wyze cam to the setup which is awesome. I can check the ladies all the time with out opening up and disturbing their environment. (THIS IS THE POINT WHERE LIGHT BURN WAS FIRST VISIBLE BUT I WASN'T AWARE!) Day 19: EC rose dramatically as i skipped evening fertigation (Day 18). This is NOT a recommended course of action. I was trying to adjust for what looks like oxygen deprivation to the root system of the Blue Diesel (IT WAS ACTUALLY TOO MUCH LIGHT!). I think this plant is lagging behind the Lamb's Breath a bit due to being bleached (TOO MUCH LIGHT!). I believe this may be the root problem (hahahaha!) and why it is a bit behind the Lamb's Breath. Droopy leaves are usually indicative of an over saturation of water in your media. I will fertigate 3 times today to correct EC issues. Still keeping EC to just under 1000 microsiemens. Reducing volume of solution given to the Blue Diesel by half. Day 20: Started LST on the Lamb's Breath. Slowly raising EC back up to ~1000 for the Blue Dream. Lowered the light by about an inch and shuffled the plants just a bit to get optimal light saturation. Everything chugging along at this point now. Day 21 & 22: Soooo I lowered my light too much. Started noticing signs of light burn on the LB. Watched some videos, read some articles then found my manufacturer's recommended hanging height. This HLG 100 V2 should be at 24" for veg stage. So thats where it got put back up to. Measured 20000LUX on the meter still which is within optimal range. I'm sure with the light up higher, the penetration to the lower canopy will be better due to the reflective walls of the tent. I removed the first pipe cleaner of LST on the LB to let it grow up toward the light a bit more. The one day of being tied down has had a dramatic effect on the production of branches lower down. I'll (probably) let it ride out for this week to allow unfettered growth before starting to tie down new branches. Days 23-26: Everything rolling. Figured out optimal EC is around 800 for inflow for both plants. Thinking this may be the optimal inflow EC for the Green Planet Line. Decided to pick up an HLG 65 V2 4000K light as well as an HLG 135w RSpec. Both are KILLER lights for sure. The 65 has really helped in veg phase. I would highly recommend it! Optimal light hanging height ended up being around 24" for the 65 which is manufacturers recommended height. Can't wait to see what the 135w fixture can do. Day 27: Switched lights to the HLG 135w RSpec today. Lowered light down to 90 watts so the lights aren't too much of a change from one day to the next. They are about 50% brighter than the HLG 65 V2 4000K when hung up to the maximum height my tent will allow. It looks to be a sweet light and the plants are getting new hues of green showing almost immediately.

Flush week is here! Or was here lol. I was behind on my journal's and I've actually already chopped the girls (pics included) and will update soon with a harvest week as soon as they are finished hang drying. The trichomes were cloudy white with roughly 20-30% amber trichomes and some wonderful terp aromas from each. 100K has a smell and taste (we sampled a bud dried in a paper bag, was fantastic) has a similarity to Slapz from the same release and it is honestly a great flavor and aroma to have. She also has hints of nutty earthiness underneath from her White Truffles and they blend well together. Grandaddy's terps vary going down her branches so far. At the top her grapey berry aroma is dominant where as the lower buds are more heavily of flowers (violets, i agree with leafly on that aroma description for GDP) with hints of the berries. A sample from a paper bag was mostly of violet flowers and smoke smooth with a deep relaxing high. Better info to come with the harvest week update! Plants were left in 48 hours of darkness with attention to airflower kept to prevent mold Our drying set up: The tent light is off, with oscillating fan removed. Only an intake was left on the bottom (removed oscillating fan after 1st day was too much) with a small monkey fan pointed across to keep it moving along the floor, with the exhaust running up top to keep even airflow around the buds. I'm trying to avoid any direct airflow on the buds. The trellis net is lifted to the top of the tent, to hang the branches from easily with plant wire. Our drying conditions: The branches are hung individually after snipping off larger fan / water leaves, we try to leave some of the smaller leaves to help protect the buds and their terpenes. Our environment we try to keep in the mid to low 60s, but never higher than 68 (I prefer 66 degrees farenheit) and the humidity we keep around 60 to 60% but no higher, and preferably never lower. This is to protect the terpenes and cannabinoids from evaporating due to heat or dry conditions. I changed to this method after some research and owe the idea on temps and humidity to Matt from Mr Canucks Grow on Youtube, it's a more recent video of his from within the past year and was very informative.

What's up growmies 🤟🏽 Week number 4 is in the books🙌🏾 Today marks the official start of week 5 and just like my previous grows all my autos are starting to preflower. Like clockwork it starts around week 5 so it lets me know these are right on schedule. I am really focusing on keeping the main cola ties down to keep the canopy as even as possibly. Typically in the past I would stop tying them down during flowering and the main cola would outgrow the rest and dominate. This grow I am continuously tying the main cola down. They all are pretty even except for Caramelicious, her main cola is just a stud and won't bend to 180 w/o me snapping the main stalk. She still is my favorite though and it's my 7th time growing her (I plant at least 1 Caramelicious each grow) The nutrient schedule remains the same. I am feeding them General Hydroponics Flora series. (Floragro, FloraMacro, FloraBloom) I am mixing what the manufacturer recommends for 1 gallon into 3 gallons, so I'm giving roughly 1/3rd what's recommended and it seems to be the sweet spot for my set up and environment. All the plants are doing well and are not showing any signs of stress, deficiency, or toxicity at this point. The weather here in VA has been pretty cold which makes it perfect humidity wise for my indoor grow, without having to blast my Cloud intake system, or even turn on the dehumidifier which won't last long because they are starting to flower and will take up more volume increasing humidity so I expect to have to use them both in the next few weeks. It appears a spider has made it's home in my tent (I see webbing in one corner of the tent) I figured it'll take care of pests for me and is not harmful so I am leaving it be for now. All in all everything is going well so far, fingers crossed. That is it for now, until next time, Happy Growing and like always May the grow goddesses bless you all with a bountiful harvest!

Currently waiting for the soil to dry out after the flush last week so only foliar feeding . It seems to be helping, I need to put aside a few hours to give both my remo chemo and purple CBD some love. Both got lockout from salt buildup and I need to sit down and trim any dead growth, some light LST and TDS and pH the runoff. Day 68- fed some fish mix and liquid seaweed 3ml/l and 4ml/l respectively. pH 6.2 Day 69- seems to be recovering well!

My gorilla cookies from fast buds is really starting to fill in now the buds are getting nice and large. Also the buds have really really pretty tricombs there super white and just pretty. The plant has a super strong smell a carbon filter is a must with this one for sure. Even with one plant it’s to much for my carbon filter you can smell it thru the hz. This plant has a very high potential for making extracts

Hello growers! Week 13 is here, a little cal mag issue but i’m On it 👌🏻 I had some issues with the night temperatures, but I have fixed that with a heater in my grow room. Thanks to the people that pointed out that would slow the growth of the girls. But yeah other than that the buds are mad frosty and smelling super dank, i’m Just waiting for them to fatten up now 👌🏻 Good growing everyone!
