Is growing the buds now exciting times

So this week has really absolutely crawled by from my perspective, I imagine it is common with growing that the closer you get to harvest the further away it seems. Anyway I am a bit worried about the middle sized plant - she has a lot more yellowing of fan leaves from the inside out. My reaction to this was to flush her with clean water, my thinking is that everything was fine before I started feeding, and perhaps I didn't mix properly and the soluble stuff was unevenly distributed. That was yesterday (week 6 day 4) It's too soon to tell if this has helped, fingers crossed it doesn't begin to affect other leaves. Despite this being only 5 days into week 6, there have already been fairly drastic changes. Some of the buds are starting to fatten more, and I'd say we're at about 15% pistils amber now, the smell has noticeably increased day by day. It's really beautiful to look the plants in the dark with a flashlight or phone light, the way the light bounces off the frosting of trichomes, as if someone had sneaked in the middle of the night and misted my plants with a million tiny diamonds. I think I will stop feeding the middle plant now and water only (unless it gets worse). The other two I will continue to feed until the end of this week. At the rate of accelerated change I suspect harvest time may not be too long past the end of next week. It's a shame they don't have much more time to grow but at least what small quantity does come from them, I am determined it is harvested at the right time. At the end of week six I have watered only as I now think these plants are maybe 7-12 days away from harvest.

Was supposed to update my diaries yesterday but literally forgot lol #edibles but they’re flowering nicely and stretching as they go! They’re truly loving life under the ts1000 can’t wait to see what the next week brings!

IT'S THAT TIME!!

Hi Growmies, thanks for stopping by this week for another HighCloudz update ✌️ The plant has been busy growing buds and now they are not only growing in number but in size as well! The top buds are growing bigger by the day, and underneath the canopy the smaller side branches are also forming many buds. The smell is amazing. It's a bit less pepper and more sweet tones at the moment, but boy I'm excited about this terpene profile 👌 Some of the top leafs are looking tarnished because of the nitrogen burn, but luckily there are still many healthy leafs left to prevent any stagnation in growth. The Jack Herer is dense and frosty colas, covered in trichomes with a nice mix of cloudy heads. Compared to the Northern Lights, it clearly had more weight and resin, making the harvest very satisfying. For the last days, I only gave CalMag and plain water adjusted to pH 6.3

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 1 Flower Report Welcome to the first week of flower in the Eternity Grow Cup! This is a crucial stage in the cycle, and we’ve made some important moves to set the girls up for success. Let’s dive into all the details and talk about the key elements shaping this transition. 48 Hours Dark Period & Transition to Flower Before flipping to flower, we implemented a 48-hour dark period. In my experience, this technique helps the plants transition more smoothly and accelerates their hormonal shift into flowering. It’s a method that has consistently worked well for me, and I encourage growers to explore different approaches to find what best suits their setup. The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Spending Time with the Girls One of my favorite parts of the grow is spending time with the plants, enjoying some good medicine, and simply being present in the garden. The connection we have with our plants is invaluable, and I believe they truly respond to the energy we bring. It’s a labor of love, and every moment spent with them contributes to their health and vitality. Monitoring with TrolMaster TM + App All data is being closely monitored using the TrolMaster TM + app, and I highly encourage everyone to check it out. Seeing all the details, tracking trends, and adjusting conditions accordingly is a game-changer. If you love data as much as I do, this is definitely something worth exploring. Gear Spotlight - AeroFan Extraction Let’s talk about one of the essential pieces of gear in this setup: the AeroFan Extraction System. This exhaust fan is an absolute beast, keeping the environment perfectly dialed in while looking sleek mounted on the wall. A good extraction system is key to maintaining ideal airflow, temperature, and humidity control, and this one has been doing an incredible job. Current Environmental & Nutrient Data Water pH: 6.0 Water EC: 1.36 Water Temperature: 16°C (a bit low, will be adjusting soon) Soil EC: 1.44 Soil Temperature: 20°C (decent but could be slightly higher) Maintaining the right balance of temperature, pH, and EC is essential for a successful flowering phase, so I’ll be keeping a close eye on these numbers and making any necessary adjustments as we progress. I'm happy with the harvest but I'll do better next time. This has been a great experience and I can't wait for my next run. 191 grams and I turned most of it into bubble hash. The positive out of it all is I don't have to spend on meds for a little bit. For all my fellow growers that followed thank you for the positive energy and help. Pics are from day 19, which is the day I topped all the plants. Topped them for a second time a little early - should have waited a couple of days for the new growth. No real damage done though and a lesson learned. Topped to the 3rd node, stripping everything below, and topped each "stork" at the next node creating 4 main branches per plant. Seen a little cal deficiency, but increasing the feed concentration to 2.5ml p/l of each will nutrient type sort that out in the coming week. Will be transplanting to 5 gallon pots in the coming week, once the plants have bounced back from the heavy mainlining techniques they've just been through.
