Thanks for swinging by and checking out the grow so far! So this week we are switching to flowering and taking a flood cycle out of the feeding schedule. The hydro plants are catching up to the soil plants and the tent is really starting to fill out ! Me and my partner have been keeping up on the training and were very happy with the results. I think we achieved the canopy look we were shooting for, so time to flower !! Were still following the floral series feeding scheduled within reason. The soil plants still have a little burn on the tips but we were overfeeding them, newbie mistake, but were flushing them with fresh water to give them a break. We cant wait to see the what happened in the weeks to come. Waiting to see what kind of stretch we get from them. EDIT:: mid week. The plants still have a great growth rate and are noticeably different every day. We went ahead and pulled them out of the buckets and gave them a good trimming before they get through the net. LST is paying off, we have a bunch of top growth so hopefully we get the sea of green look were going for.

Just waiting and watching trichomes & pistils. As of today all the trichomes are milky, but not all of the pistils have changed colour. A lot of them are still white. So on she goes!!! 😎

Week 15 May 21 -ladies are still swelling all but the grapefruit pheno but she is frostier than the rest so good with the bad I guess hopefully she just takes longer to finish -just been ferments with recharge mostly and been doing well alternating between top and bottom watering and watering every other day -light burn and possible calcium deficiency on one plant but she’s the chunkiest girl and might finish before the rest -smooth sailing other than that

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. The flower are very dense and I'm very happy to this. This is the last week that I feed my plants with nutrient, so the next week will start a flush period of two to three week.

Barneys farm Pineapple Chunk 23rd Feb 2020 👆 Shit I love this strain!! I mean check out the thickness of the buds on this girl. 👌👌 And they still have a long way to go too. 😜 This pheno is very Fruity smelling with tropical fruit being the main aroma I can detect. There is also a lot of stickiness amongst those flowers so I maintain the fans general blowing direction over them as I'd hate to see mold set in because of all the humidity we are getting at the moment. We haven't really seen much of the sun for the last 10 days or so as it's been very overcast with the odd Thunderstorm or light rain shower. The Heat's still around tho despite the clouded conditions , with the daily temps still hitting the mid Thirties. The Pineapple chunk lady is on her second day of no watering or feeding to allow the soil to dry a little and allow more air to reach the root zone. When I do water it will be mixed up with a little liquid potassium and Mycorrhizae foor the roots. Not a lot else to report other than I left my radio playing some classical music for the girls in the greenhouse , as I have read that they can respond well to it. Who knows? Left to right: All Gas x Cali Octane (Promo), Banana Butter Cups, Gelato, OG Triploid. Pictures taken day 48 of flower, just started into week 8. I messed up last week and uploaded pictures that were still from week 6, but I'll just leave it as is. I found one small bud with botrytis, seems to have been the only one, so not too worried there. The far red is really showing its effects now, all of these normally take 63-68 days to finish, as it is I think I can chop around day 58. Combined with the super short veg, I could do 5 runs like this a year. BBC is fading nicely, was growing strong. The others didn't use up the nutrients, even though its been straight water only with microorganisms and some kelp added every two weeks. I didn't do any pH correction and the tap water here comes out at pH of 8 and 0.8 EC, I cut it to 0.4 EC. Impressive! I am not getting sponsored by biotabs, but I am amazed what just the tab itself without any of the product line is achieving. I am sure, you can push the plant more, but I love the keep it simple approach. Next round I am going to add a Blumat self-watering system and just check in on the plants once a week. Edit: Harvested at day 56, the far-red took off a solid week - as expected. Smell was intense, they had 36 hrs of darkness before harvest, will hang until I get back Saturday evening and then go into the winecooler I modified. Currently at 19 C and 50% humidity, bit too dry, but it's only for two and a half days, so I'm not worried. The biotabs didn't fully dissolve in the 9 weeks they were in the pot, next round I will break them up a little. Only the BBC really faded, I hope the taste won't be too much on the nitrogen side 😬 harvest update will follow as soon as they are dry, so probably in another two weeks from now

The tent has been full of aromas, colors, and emotions — and this week brought a little surprise twist. Our Pheno #2, the bold one, the heavy one, decided she couldn’t hold her own weight anymore and literally bowed to gravity. When I arrived, half of her was on the ground, saying: “It’s time, my friend. Harvest me.” And honestly, she was right. Perfect trichomes, perfect colors — it was exactly her moment. So, we harvested her with love, laughter, and respect. Sometimes, nature tells you what to do, and all you can do is listen. We didn’t dry her whole as we usually do — since she broke herself in half, we had to go with a different approach this time. A reminder that every grow has its own personality and surprises. We took it as part of the adventure and had a good laugh about it — because in the end, that’s what growing is: learning, adapting, and enjoying every step. Meanwhile, her sister Pheno #3 is still standing tall and absolutely shining. Our pH sits nicely around 6.1, EC around 0.7, and the soil is still rich enough to carry the girls through these final stages. Temperatures hover around 28°C, humidity slightly high at 60+, but both phenos have been adapting beautifully. 🌿 About the Harvest For Pheno #2 — the early harvest wasn’t planned, but it turned out perfect. The trichomes were milky with just a few ambers, the aroma intense, and the density incredible. This shows that sometimes the plants truly know best. Her colas were so heavy they couldn’t stand anymore — that’s a good problem to have! 💪 Super Crop & Structure The earlier super crop training clearly paid off — the buds on the bent tops were some of the thickest and frostiest of all. What’s up everybody. So I started to flower already as you see I identified the sure males and tossed them out. What is left is 2 that still have not confirmed whether they’re female/male.
