Week 9 - Fourth Week of Flower The Donutz gang is hitting its stride as the fourth week of flower unfolds. Trichomes are developing beautifully, and the plants are entering full production mode. A few challenges cropped up this week, but quick thinking and some DIY ingenuity kept everything on track. Key Updates: Trichome Progress: The resin glands are popping off, with a frosty layer forming across the developing buds. The plants are starting to show their true potential, and the tent is starting to smell. New Fan Installation: The old ventilator tapped out this week, so a replacement was installed to maintain proper airflow. This ensures the plants stay cool and prevents any issues with humidity or stagnant air. Lamp Adjustment: The front-left plant shot up too close to the light, so I had to get creative. I built a DIY solution to raise the lamp higher, ensuring even coverage and preventing light stress. Accident Recovery: During the light adjustment, I initially tried securing the front-left plant with a rubber band. Concerned it might melt, I removed it, but in the process, the main stem got damaged. Thankfully, the plant is a fighter. The main cola is now growing sideways but remains fully healthy and strong. This unexpected twist has added some character to the tent, and the plant is bouncing back beautifully. Observations: Despite the challenges, all plants are thriving, with strong growth and healthy bud development. The sideways-growing cola on the front-left plant is a unique highlight, showing the resilience of the Donutz genetics. Next Steps: Keep monitoring airflow and light height to avoid any further issues. Continue with the nutrient schedule and reverse osmosis (RO) watering to maintain stability. Watch the trichomes closely as they continue to mature, signaling the start of the final phases of flower. The Florida Gang grind is real, and the Donutz are proving their worth week after week. This tent is shaping up to be a legendary grow!

Well, my princesses are florin😀👏👏I started to add 2 ml of bio-bloom💪💪Two of them have reached 20 cm, the other two are at 18 cm😅 I have uploaded the led 5 cm to see if they climb a little more👆👆🙏 Irrigation 200ml/plant😄 How do you see it?😜👍 Well, well👏🏻👏🏻 Today add sugar royal 2 ml/l and I have also added micro vita 0.5gr/l but only once more😬 Today I have placed the mesh👏🏼👏🏼😄 I have lowered the lamp 5 cm🙂

My Skunk Apple plant's a little behind the others. I think it started flowering a couple weeks later. It's a smaller plant, but it's finally starting to fill out. I'm guessing I've got maybe two weeks left before it's ready to chop. The past week has been awesome for drying my plants. The weather's been perfect – nice and dry, with just enough breeze to keep things moving. I finally got around to chopping down those two big plants I've been meaning to trim. They're almost ready, just need a little more time to dry out completely. I can't wait to see how they turned out.

Decided that this week ive probably went a bit big on the 3 gal pots after reviewing other grows (Whoops, not the worst problem to have) so I invested in another tent to split the girls up. Im hoping this will improve the air flow later in the grow, well until I decided that it looked a bit sparse and started some 1 gal ladies away. Anyway im a massive idiot and burned the GG4, ive learnt the lesson of monkey see doesnt mean monkey should do. Anyway we'll get into that. Sun 5/6 Got myself drip trays for all the pots, which will be help keep the tents a bit tidier when the watering intensifies. Also picked up a soil moisture/pH meter, from further reading soil pH is going to be important (Foreshadowing here.....) Both GG4/Explorer watered today (Not measured, stupid) as meter suggested soil moisture was low. Fed around where I suspect root mass will be and moistened edges of pots. Ariel/Cindy not fed today as both soil surfaces were moist. Im concerened about little Ariel, but im holding out for here. GG4 = 6CM // Explorer = 3.75CM // Ariel = 1CM // Cindy = 1.5CM Mon 6/6 AM Cindy/Ariel surface sprayed as was dry. GG4/Explorer left untouched as they're moist. PM All plants sprayed until surface moist, warm day today and I struggle keeping the humidity high within the tents so the surface seems to dry rapidly on the seedlings. New tent should arrive tomorrow! Tues 7/6 AM Tent arrived and set up with GG4/Explorer Transfered. This tent has a MarsHydro 100W in. GG4/Explorer fed with 400ML water + 0.15ML Bio-Grow, having reviewed many other auto grows it seems that they're giving growth nutes early doors. I must be doing something wrong here so planning to slowly introduce Bio-Grow. Ariel/Cindy left alone as theyre looking ok. Well as ok as Ariel can look :S PM GG4 leaves are showing slight yellowing (That foreshadowing we we're on about), shit. Wonder if it could be light burn from the new light? Ive upped the light distance and will monitor. Wed 8/6 GG4 further development of yellowing with some browning now showing. Surely if it was light stress I would have seen a small improvement, but perhaps im being too hasty. Planning on waiting another day and seeing where we see any improvement. No feed for GG4/Explorer Spray feed for Cindy/Ariel Thurs 9/6 GG4/Explorer fed 150ML of just water as both are looking dry and feeling light to lift. Still no improvement on yellowing/browning of leaves however new growth is progressing so im not too concerned? Will need to ask wiser heads for advice relating to this. Further research is leading me to think ive nute burned it. MY water pH is coming out around 7.1 as well which wont be helping. pH down ordered as im sure ill need it anyway. Ariel seems to be recovering slightly now all be it pale on new growth, will monitor this little one further and see what happens. More seeds ordered so if shes not going to grow big I might slot her in a 1 gal and stick something different in the 3 gal. Thoughts? Fri 10/6 GG4 well and truely upset with me however only 2 leaves showing significant issues, however this is starting to spread. Posted a question and answers are reflecting that I have A) Too high pH water B) Have fed nutes far too early. Live and learn. Advice seems to show that around 6.2 will be a good range to shoot for. pH down didnt arrive today so will hold fire on any further feedings which works nice as all are moist enough. Have LST'd the GG4. Sat 11/6 Officially 2 weeks today. Whilst im disappointed in myself with the GG4 I suppose its normal to make mistake in something new so trying to not be too hard on myself. Ive got pH down and have fed both GG4(350ml)/Explorer(150) respectively with 6.2pH water. Hopefully this will be the start of the turn around a learning moment within a new hobby. I really appreciate the kind words from those that have already posted and of course any further advice would be massively appreciated. Another day another week and coming along nicely only difference this week is I have started pumping some overdrive through them now seems as it’s week 6 flower. 2 weeks on that then hopefully ready for a flush with pure water and a few days dark then harvest time. I’ve got a feeling the papaya is going to be ready before the cookies waiting for.my microscope for my phone to come then will update with some pictures of the trichomes.

And we are off to the races. This lovely Moon Walker Kush will be our mother plant and I will be taking clones from it repeatedly. My flower room will cycle back and forth between my Sunset Sherbet and Moon Walker kush. I am excited to get these diaries under way. Plant is doing great in the 1 gallons with the vivosun drip irrigation. Will be harvesting probably at the end of this week. She's at day 56 as of this update. I didn't post any updates for the first few weeks of flower.

Another week down. As some of you will see, from the three purple kush autos one defiantly has the characteristics of a “purple kush plant” it is very small with odd shaped buds and almost purpley/black. The other two are monsters with no purple traits. I did loose a plant at the start that was also stunted, which likely would have produced another “purple budded” plant. Anyway it has been hotter than hell here, and they pretty much survived a hurricane and tornado, so I think these girls will finish out the summer just nice. I gave them a feed of some cal mag and some fox farms tiger bloom. Other than that they be chillin. Enjoy the weather! Cheers.

23.06 Day 59 of bloom, from now on I check the trichomes more often. 26.06 Cleaned the tank and prepared a new solution, to flush the plants, since I see enough amber trichomes developing. I still add some major nutrients. EC level is at 0.6. I will continue to flush until 04.07 - day 70 of bloom, afterwards I will waterstress them, if they are not ready already.
