Week 3 Flower – Sundae Driver From Seed to Now This journey started just five weeks ago from seed. We ran a very short veg, only about two weeks, before flipping to flower. Even with the short veg, these Sundae Driver phenos have been relentless growers: strong branching early on, healthy node spacing, and an impressive stretch once the light cycle changed. In Week 1 of flower, we switched to 11 hours on / 13 hours off to encourage a faster transition, and by Week 2, the girls had already shot past the 111 cm mark. Now, in Week 3, they’re tall, thriving, and showing no signs of slowing down. The girls are reaching for the sky, tall, elegant, and stretching with no signs of slowing down. Each day they surprise me with just how much vertical growth they’re putting on. I’m curious (and a little nervous!) to see how big they’ll eventually get. Nutrients & Additives This week, we introduced a new layer to the feed program by combining Plagron additives with our existing Aptus lineup. Here’s the full mix (all at 1 ml/L): • Plagron Power Buds – Bud stimulator to support mid-flower. • Plagron Green Sensation – All-in-one bloom booster with PK, sugars, and micronutrients to push flower development. • Plagron Sugar Royal – Amino-acid-rich formula to help boost energy and aroma production. • Aptus Regulator – For plant strength, nutrient efficiency, and stress resistance. • Aptus CalMag Boost – Maintaining balanced calcium and magnesium levels under high growth rates. The idea is to test how the Plagron additives perform alongside Aptus products. So far, the results look promising. Training & Canopy Management No heavy training, just gentle leaf tucking. Large fan leaves are being bent or tucked under branches so light can reach the bud sites without removing too much foliage. This keeps the plant energy flowing while opening up the canopy naturally. Environment • Day Temp: ~26°C • Humidity: ~67% • VPD: ~1.10 kPa (not textbook perfect, but the plants are adapting beautifully) • pH: ~6.5 • Soil Moisture: Letting it dry down to ~19% before watering, sometimes even closer to 9% in hotter moments. Lighting & Gear The girls are thriving under the Future of Grow LED fixtures, with the filtered, even spectrum keeping the canopy happy. I’ve also introduced an automated irrigation system in the tents, still testing whether to fully hand over watering duties to the system or keep a hybrid approach with some hand-watering for closer control. Extras & Comfort Yes, I had a little fun with the camera this week, a casual photo session in the "studio" (plants only in their natural “outfits”), and a special shout-out to Zamnesia for their incredibly comfortable gear. Think rugby-polo style shirts, perfect for long hours in the grow or behind the camera. What to Expect Next Week • Expect: First signs of full flower set, with more defined pistils and the earliest stacking patterns starting to show. You may also see a slowdown in vertical growth as the plants redirect more energy to flower production. • Not to Expect: Heavy trichome development just yet, it’s still a bit early for full resin production, though sugar leaves may start to sparkle. • Keep an Eye On: Environmental stability. With humidity in the upper 60s, watch for microclimate pockets that could encourage mold once flowers start stacking. Closing Reflection From seed to now, this run has been a fast, exciting climb. A short veg, an early flip, and now a careful mix of trusted Aptus products with new Plagron additives, it’s been an experiment in precision and adaptability. The girls are loving their environment, thriving under Future of Grow LEDs, and pushing toward their full flowering potential. beginning of the fourth week🌻 everything is going well. made another small defoliation🍁 where it was needed. girls 🌱keep eating all the nutrition that my diet is good for them!👍 I'm waiting for the flowers to explode!💚👽 Day 25👍🌻👊

- Day 66 Got the first trichome shot in, and mostly still seeing clear and cloudy ones, a few amber ones on the sugar leaves, so we are still a week or 2-3 off from harvest I would say. Day 67 Pot was dry again, right on time. Fed with 2 liters now. I'll just be adding the nute amounts correctly to the week overview from now on, makes it easier. Also trying to experiment with taking better pictures outside of the grow tent as I'm having a hard time getting clean ones with the light overload. Still not great, but I'm trying to improve! Day 68 Was able to get some nice trichome shots today. Can clearly see it's still mostly clear and cloudy for now. Day 71 Waited a day too long with watering it seems like, some of the top leaves got a bit crispy, probably because the leaves couldn't transpire enough water to cool themselves down. Gonna give a 3 liter watering today. Trichomes also seem mostly clear still.

Day 64 - Started off week 10 with 2 gallons of water and nutes today. I’ll be chopping my Cherry Cookies in about 2 weeks so she’ll have a little more room in the tent to stretch and get some light. She’s fine right now but a little cramped. Had a few of the lower leaves that were died off and just hanging on so removed them as well. Day 66 - Nothing much new going on today. Removed a few more dying fan leaves again. Gave her a bit more water than I normally do so she should be good for another couple days. She’s definitely budding up nicely and just waiting for her to really start frosting up. Day 67 - All looking good and coming along nicely. She’s budding up and just waiting for the frost to start. She’s gonna need some water and nutes tomorrow. Day 68 - Gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today and she’s doing really well. Buds are forming nicely but still not seeing any trich development yet but I’m sure that’ll come soon enough. She is putting off a little bit of a smell right now and it’s almost like straight lemon. Not sure if that’s how this strain is supposed to smell but I’m liking it. She’ll have a bit more room to stretch out next weekend when I chop my Cherry Cookies. Day 69 - She’s still budding up nicely and hopefully this coming weekend she’ll be less constricted when I chop the Cherry Cookies. She’s drinking quite a bit and will probably need water and nutes again on Tuesday. Still not seeing much trich development so not sure what’s causing that but we’ll see what happens in the end. Day 70 - The end of week 10 today and looking through my jewelers loupe, I finally see some trichs starting to develop. So hopefully in the next week or so, I’ll be able to get a good smell coming from her. She’s going to be needing some water and nutes tomorrow.

So far this week shes growing more and more white hairs and starting to really come into flowering nicely.. still a ways to go but must say I think shes gonna be a biggen!

After a two day heat wave it’s rained for 4 days…. So we are well flushed ☔️

I have to admit Sensi Seeds are very, very good. This seed has been in the refrigerator for three years plus...I am impressed.

This week we will see the colas and buds really dense up. We are about 2 weeks away from harvest now. Next week I will start my flush.

Week 9 commence flushing. This lady is looking great, super frosty, sticky and got a sweet aroma. Removed some dying leaves and now we wait for chop in about 6-7 days.

Morning Folks !! a very solid week in, girls look spot on. I can stand there for ages and just stare at them, I know many here share my feelings 😇 anyway... All girls have been flushed twice this week as normal with half strength nutes. Stopped PK 5 days ago. 1 Stardawg under trellis, is done producing by the looks of it and just cooking now. Other 2 stardawgs are yet to swell up a bit more. Bright Orange hair and trichomes makes bud appear golden 😍 BlueDream is swelling still constantly and smells incredible. though she is a bit moody but this cycle is dialed in well, so girls are happy , very happy. Bud feels chunky and heavy to touch. Each plant has its own unique smell profile I cant decide which one I like more. Girls loved the microbes and safe to say I'll be using that stuff in every grow. Its a deal maker imo. They are nearing end altogether and had been a great experience so far. Learned a lot. Wanna guess the outcome?? 😎 I m thinking 4 - 5 ounce off a girl more or less.... maybe... we'll see Enjoy pics and stay safe.

Even with the heat she has given me quite a big yield and that's with lack of watering and also training badly so I could have got a better yield if I have had paid more attention to her so until next time ✌️ out my fellow Growmies
