So close to harvest. This week and last I reduced the amount of TPS1 in the feed from 15ml /gal to 10ml/g. Early in the week, Apollo's lower leaves started showing the fade using up the nutrients. Thursday, I did a preliminary trim to remove any fan leaves and feeder leaves with longer stems. just handling the stems and buds my hands, nails and arms were sticky. After the trim, I put Apollo's Friends back in the tent with her. When the plants were in different veg/flower cycles, I separated them into tents. GDP and zkittles grew with in 2-3 inches on the light. I could not raise the lights anymore. Today, 11/19 is day Apollo's 69 day and 41 in flower. The harvest window per RQS is 70-75 days from seed. Tuesday will be the harvest day. After watering only 2 liters with Vit B, Recharge and Signal yesterday, I put her in the 3#x3tent in the dark. Apollo's buds are thick, dense, stinky citrus floral and sticky. The sugar leaves are showing color change as she knows her life is ending in glory. I am so proud of this grow. I didn't overfeed so I have experienced the color fade to yellow as foods are used up and the delicate colors emerge in the sugar leaves. I am very impressed with Royal Queen Seeds F1 genetics. So much so I bought Milky Way F1 and Medusa F1. I will definitely have another Apollo grow in January. Thank you @James at RQS. Apollo F1 had a huge base stem and was multi branching-even the side stems had side stems. The stems were sturdy. No support is needed for her branches She stayed short at 26 inches tall. I definitely pushed her on the watering. When I saw no runoff after 2.5 liters of water, I upped to 3 ltr. Then 3.5, then 1 gallon. I watered 2 liters, let the water absorb, then slowly add another 2 liters. There was a small amount of run off at the time of watering but was all gone by the next day. It could have been evaporation, but I really think it was consumption. Consumption is an indicator of yield. As densely bushy as she is, I'm estimating at least 90 grams. So for future grows, especially for very bushy plants, I will defoliate at least 2x during early and midflower to open up the canopy and let the plants bulk up more. She did show some nutrient (cal-mag) deficiency and for the next Apollo grow, I will push the feed a bit. I'm excited and a bit sad to see this grow come to an end at the same time. Going to add more pics when the light turns back on, don't wanna stress her out and risk herm'ing with light leaks (if that's even true better not to risk it). She's stretching like CRAZY nice internodal spacing I prefer them a bit more spaced out, not too far apart but I think it makes room for chunkers. But not too close together, so much so to risk mold, butrot, or mold issues. This is the perfect medium. Absolutely cannot wait to see how the buds look. Everything appears to be Female in thee grow aswell super happy about that.

16th Week Report 30/01/20 - 06/02/20 Had a look to trichomes and she was almost ready, consequently I didn't filled/changed reservoir from last week 06/02/20 Harvest Day! 2nd Harvest Wet Weight Is 440g! 💦💦 All the lower growth yielded more than the bigger colas from first harvest (350g Wet Weight) Nothing particular to say, trichomes are 5-10% 🔍 Amber, even the lower buds got some purple tones and while I was trimming them I sniffed the best weed flavour I ever felt in my life! The 2nd Harvest day was a week away from the 1st Harvest day! "Harvest Week" will be published when buds will be dry 😋 Last Update 06/02/20 See you guys ;)

Natural Growing

We are almost at the moment of working our magic, we are about to go into flowering and the vegetative phase is coming to an end, our Zamensia Slurricane is a very beautiful plant with low internodal distance that looks like a small Japanese tree. We are about to do the last topping that will bring it to 16 tops, 16 small clones of the main cola that will come up I hope at the same time and all together and above all I hope that the cold will give us a great resin and a beautiful coloration. During the topping the use of nitrogen is a very delicate subject. The topping cuts slow down the plant and the leaves tend to grow bigger going a bit into over, it happened to her then you detach and it tends to discharge now we are at the moment that we are starting to give nitrogen again to then go into flowering. It is a process that must be nuanced very delicately. Ideally it is to start by preparing the soil with fertilizer and add if necessary. I over-fertilized the plants a bit but it's something I've always managed very well once I got to flowering. Next time we'll add something to the soil with fertilizers with this technique it's very suitable. Wait for the uncle BreadandBuds.... I joined Grow diaries late in my growing career... I wish I would have found this site sooner.. Enjoy! I personally enjoy growing mephisto genetics. I was very happy with the toof decay grow and end result. I ended up letting this cure for 2 months. It is number 2 in my book so far for my adventure with Mephisto seeds. Walter white is #1. I grew this in colder conditions through the winter of 2019. Super dense buds loaded trichs, very loud smell, and great appeal! I have more of these seeds so I will do a start to finish eventually. I topped the 2 last plants and started LST on all of them without any problem. The growth was pretty impressive this week, especially for the Wedding Cheesecake which is clearly bigger then the others. I had to add some supports to compensate the height difference between the plants. I removed some leaflets here and there during the week to give some light to the lower branches without removing too much leaves. I increased the light power to 75%. I will probably give them another week and then switch to the 12h/12h schedule. Still in the process of drying and curing I wait for the snap Branch drying and they're not there yet but I two of the branches were ready and I cut them and taste them even though not cure was smooth and delicious. I did not collect popcorns I kept everything in small pieces and put it in a pot for edibles. One of them main colas waiting 23.75 grams. After curing this it is a very enjoyable and smooth blueberry smoke with a very strong THC content plus the very big yield and a very good recovery from abuse make this plant a real champ

Overall it was a good harvest, it could have been much better if I hadn't switched to the Cultivator Series line... But as soon as my order arrives I'll be back to Athena again 🙌

Week three of flower is here and the pistils are popping out all over the place now. The final tuck was done on day 14, two days ago. From here I am just letting them grow out, the second net is just to support the colas as they develop and pack on weight. Day 16 of flower: Photographed and took a video.
