Hello Growmies, Just a quick update from my plant's world. I took her out of her usual spot today to give her a bit more space and a thorough inspection, particularly checking for any signs of mold. Happy to report, she's looking great – continuing to ripen and swell nicely. An exciting development: the first of her trichomes have started turning amber. This is a clear sign of her maturing beautifully. For her feeding regimen, I've switched to using only Canna Flush this week. Planning ahead, I will transition to RO water exclusively after this period. Her root ball is looking healthy and vigorous, which is always a good sign of her overall well-being. July 27: staring week 7 and she seems to be preflowering but I’m going to force flower this auto by sticking it in the dark garage with my photoperiod plants. The change to 12 h of darkness for a couple weeks should kick it into flowering mode. I’ve seen a few growers commenting that their Auto Overdose wasn’t auto flowering and I don’t want to wait any longer to find out. It’s the end of July and things need to be flowering by now to finish in time before winter. The stem I broke a few days ago is showing signs of life and looks like it will more or less recover. Update: Changed my mind and removed stem as it was slowing overall growth. Cut the loss and move forward. C’est La vie, etc. July 28: plant has an okay shape considering I broke a stem. Nice lower branches came up after the plant was topped. Looks promising. July 31: looking good. Removed a single large fan leaf at the top that was shading too many bud sites.

DLI increased to 38 plants looking good, buds getting bigger. Removed some single leafs that where blocking light from lower buds.

Week was great as I saw the end to my fungus gnats and the plants really began to develop their own signature smells. The monster plant has more myrcene funky smell to it and the smaller bushy plants are hitting hard with fruity earth tones. This week looked like this: 2/7: nothing 2/8: 1 gal water/pot with 1 tbsp coconut water powder/pot and 1 drop of microbe lite bmc 2/9: nothing 2/10: nothing 2/11: 1 gal water/pot with 1 tbsp aloe flakes/pot. and 1 drop microbe lite bmc. Top dressed with gnarley barley which is sprouted hemp seed, Barley seed and corn seed which i pulverized 2/12: nothing 2/13: .5 gal water/pot and light defoliation

I sometimes catch myself humming "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies" while tending to her. The scrog net truly is a masterpiece, guiding her growth and ensuring maximum light penetration. It's like a support system for her budding ambitions. Now, let's talk about IPM, or Integrated Pest Management, because every grower knows that prevention is key. I noticed some unwanted visitors in the form of thrips and fungus gnats, so it was time to take action. But hey, I prefer a natural approach, so I called upon some tiny allies to join the battle. I introduced nematodes to the soil, those microscopic warriors who feast on the unsuspecting pests. It's like having a secret army of predators ready to defend my precious plants. But that's not all! To further bolster the defenses, I invited some other beneficial insects to the party. Spical Ulti Mite and Swirskii, the mighty protectors, joined forces to keep those unwanted critters in check. It's like an epic showdown between the good, the bad, and the buggy. Who needs a superhero movie when you have a living ecosystem fighting the good fight? In a way, the scrog net and the IPM predators are like my own version of the Avengers. They work together, each with their unique skills, to create a harmonious and pest-free environment. It's a sight to behold, and I can't help but feel like the proud commander of this green army. The purple one has gotten so much fatter with its flowers but the other plant has a slow growth rate, not sure if it’s due to my fault but it seems to be doing okay. First problem I’ve noticed so far is a deficiency in Calcium. Started to see brown spots and decided to do a last top dress and made sure to add some gypsum.
