Flowering day 70 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. I have upped the feed now to about 1/2 strength and the plants are loving it. They're starting to recover from the low stress training last week and stretching upwards. Budding is underway with white hairs, and a distinctive gassy smell on 3/4 of the plants. I'm guessing I've got two phenos - 3x Chemdawg dominant and 1x Hindu Kush dominant. We'll find out when they start to flower fully. Switched to 18/6 from 24/0 on day 36 - now that they're flowering they seem more sensitive to heat from the lights (Also backed the light off a couple inches). This resulted in an immediate growth spurt!

Some great growth over the past few days, Jack is starting to stretch his legs for sure! To ensure there’s no issues with height, I decided to Top him, I’m not really going to apply any other methods of LST other than gentle defoliation and lead tucking. Jack has been fed regularly BioBizz nutrients and some beneficial bacteria to support the mediums microbiology 🤓✌️👍 Let’s see what the next week holds for Jack, he’s under a 250watt dual spectrum HPS for the rest of his life now ☀️ 😎 See you all next week! ✌️👊

Base nutrients were reduced and PK 13/14 increased. So far she seems to take the change well. The buds keep swelling and are already rock-hard.

Day 77 I'm running out of vertical space for pinus contorta, this weekend i will open the box to move the leds higher and will try to do some decent photos. At this point i've added the Pinus purple matcha to the diary because she's huge and impossible to not notice, should be around 1,5m² almost 150cm tall. Had to do a very risky move and "soft crop" 2 apicals because of burn risk, too close to the leds. I wasn't expeting a freakin' tree like that!

Had some recent troubles. Overwatered once, then it dried out a little much. Also found out I got nutrient burn, so defoliated what I had to. Used half recommended dose and still had burn. Won’t be feeding for another week.

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

Big week here. The girls got moved into the tent and also into the Autopot system. I'm excited to see how the Autopot performs! There appeared some burns, I had been busy with xmas, so I didn't had that much time to attend them. I believe they will get back on track now. The biggest challenge is to keep the PH stable in the water tank.

This is the beginning of each week. So I flushed them and switched nutrients. They were mag deficient, nitro toxic. Not PH actually. I'm adding co2 next week after I seal the room. I think I need to back the PAR down to 800 but they are still alive and it's over half way done. How any more weeks? I thought this was a 65 day auto. Hydro in a 5 gallon pot could add up to three weeks I heard with Autos. could these go 12 weeks total?

The flowering stretch seems to have slowed down and most of the growth is going into the buds now. The buds are forming up into long colas, and trichomes are forming up to frost the buds a little bit. One of the buds in the middle of the canopy grew into the light on f26 and got a little bit burnt. Otherwise coming along well and getting pretty smelly when touched. I trimmed off some of the lower branches towards the end of the week, and will probably be trimming more off on res cleaning day.
