It’s been an accursed year for the grow cycle and we ran in to pretty much every problem you could have with these plants. Aphids, WPM, bud rot. The plant grew strong but the genetic does have some inherent fasciation qualities that were really prevalent with this plant. Not enough to consider unsuitable for breeding though. The bud quality of this strain alone and the overpowering high are just too good not to utilize👌🤟. Stay tuned - the rest are comin down in short order…

My Rainbow Melon plant has been a powerhouse from day one! It's always been one of the fastest and strongest growers in the tent. For a while, it was the undisputed champion in terms of size, and it's still neck and neck for second place. This plant is just bursting with vigor, and I'm super excited to see what kind of yield I get from it. It's got that classic Rainbow Melon aroma – sweet and fruity with a hint of earthiness. It's gonna be a good one! This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

Day 46 for this pretty lady. She’s so big and bushy and full. I’m just in awe of how she turned out. Very very excited for her she’s full of life and vigor. Nothing I’ve thrown at her has seemed to matter. Idk what Russian means but hey who cares when they look like this. Hello beautiful. Can’t wait to see her full and bulk out.

Week five has ended theyre plain sailing now enjoying the whole process two phenos are showing some hairs turning a vibrant orange and some purple colours starting to creep up in the leaves .... humidity is a bit high in the tent of late so I might do some defoliation to bring it down a bit ..... plants seem to be loving the whole environment tho Smells are starting to come through a lot better and a range from lime to fuel mash up some got just pure gas aswell with nothing else still waiting for some garlicky smells but none yet happy growing

It's been a pretty good week. I did quite a big defoliation, as things were getting crowded. The girls are having a very strong diesel smel! I switched to a more flowering dominant feeding, I decreased the Nitrogen and pumped up the phosphorus and potassium. I will soon do a flush, as it looks like the nuts are starting to accumulate at the roots.

Good week. Lots of rain, OG shot up 6" to a whopping 68". Everybody happy and well hydrated. I used to have a perspective on how big these will get but now I have no idea whatsoever, lol. I know they'll fill out during flower but will they just keep going up indefinitely? Thanks for looking Happy Growing!

Hello growmies! Welcome to week seven of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! I have just completed the final defoliation for the three least advanced (and largest) girls. I have also rearranged the tent again to try to maximize the space available and light usage. I have not fertigated for 5 days after the last fertigation was a flush without coco base. I am struggling with humidity at the moment so I have been trying to let the plants go more dry than usual. Daily Updates ### Week 7 Day 2 02:30 7/8 Heavily defoliated plants 1, 5 & 6 and removed some of the lower branches. Rearranged tent then photographed & measured: Plant 1 is now almost unbelievably 2nd tallest at "only" 141cm in height! Her stretch has just about ended. Plant 2 has stopped stretching at 111cm and is 2nd most advanced into flower. Plant 3 has stopped stretching at 95cm and is most advanced into flower. Plant 4 has stopped stretching at 100cm and is 3rd most advanced into flower. Plant 5 has gained 6cm this week and may add few more but she is pretty close to done stretching at 119cm. Plant 6 has gained 22cm this week and isn't quite finished. She is now the tallest plant in the series at 142cm. ### Week 7 Day 2 07:00 7/8 Fertigated 1.6l each ### Week 7 Day 4 02:00 9/8 Fertigated 1.6l each reduced coco a/b to 2m/l each. Spent a bit more time photographing and videoing to try and capture the changes and the developmental differences. These 140cm+ plants are going to STACK. I am bracing myself for a lot of trimming and a monster harvest. 🙏 The current order of maturity and likely order of harvest is 3 2 4 1 5 6. I think the first and last plants will be at least a week apart in harvest, perhaps 2 or 3. ### Week 7 Day 6 23:00 11/8 Fertigated 1.6l each The smell in the tent is there now, really not that strong but there are 6 plants motoring through flower here now so it's not insignificant either. Plant 3 is absolutely stacking now, she's more or less run out of space around her cola and is now growing some foxtail like structures, exciting! Plant 6 the least mature is 2-3 weeks behind plant 3, but her stretch has finally stopped at 144cm. Took wide angle in tent photos today. Continuing to progress as she should, lots of white hairs and a little stretch from the lowers making a lovely canopy. Just staying on course with pH 6.0 water and letting the soil blend fuel her flowering fury!!! Should be another solid week, were now on the lookout for some trichome development!
