7/1 Day 92 from sprout, day 37 of flower. Worth mentioning I started counting day 1 of flower from the day I switched the lights to 12/12. I guess some people count days of flower differently than that, but thatโ€™s mine. Buds have been packing on the frost over the past few days and slowly getting fatter. I know I wonโ€™t be getting any massive buds just because I topped multiple times and have a good amount of lower bud sites growing but thatโ€™s perfectly fine with me. Generally it looks like Iโ€™ll be getting golf ball sized buds all around. I also noticed I had 1 top bud site that was getting a lot more light than the others. Well I happen to be able to move that bar around away from that bud site in order to better disperse the light and even out the PAR map a bit. So I slid that over which allowed me to safely stay under 1000 PAR at that top while increasing my light up to 75%. This should result in more light for the lower parts while staying essentially the same up top. 7/5 Day 96 from sprout, day 41 of flower. I gave the light a small nudge past 75% yesterday and I havenโ€™t seen any light stress yet. Iโ€™ll keep nudging it higher until I see something, but I gotta be near the limit. Most of my top sites are sitting around 900 PAR, but I have two sites that spike up to around 1050 PAR. I do have two CO2 bags resting on top of my light but itโ€™s impossible to know how much that helps, if at all. Growth has been great though; buds remain frosty and are slowly getting bigger still. The top half of the buds will be of respectable size, no monsters but good solid bud. Iโ€™ll still have some larf way down in the lower half though, an unfortunate consequence of the insane stretch and being unsure how much to hack off in that scenario. I debated trimming them all off now but Iโ€™m thinking at this point in flower I should just leave her alone and grow. 7/6 Itโ€™s possible I found my upper limit on light intensity. I started to see some faint yellow areas appear on some leaves and thereโ€™s an increase of dry crispy leaf tips. So at least for this grow I think Iโ€™ve established that 75% power is the max I can do. For now Iโ€™ve backed off the lights to the last hash mark before 75%, which has most tops sitting at around 750 PAR and a few others at 850 PAR for a max DLI of 36.7. Iโ€™ll probably go back up to 75% next week.

4/15 Fighting a soil pH issue. Learned I made some crucial mistakes this entire grow that compounded week after week until a few days ago and I have complete lockout. I was feeding every watering (rookie mistake). I tested runoff and it was at 1800ppm and 3.5 EC, I have done lots of flushing and got soil to an acceptable level of 800ppm and 1.5-1.6 EC. But my soil pH is testing around 4 and will not come up. I have watered with baking soda and it up near 4.5-4.6 now but I have flushed so much over last 3 days I can't stress the plant anymore. Leaves on the bigger plant are rust spotted everywhere and dying off. I will prob lose plant disappointing since it's so far along. I will still yeild something from it but had this not happened this plant would have been great it's super stinky and sticky right now and buds are dense but would have really stacked on and produced had this not happened. Other plant is chugging along its got same soil issues but showing no signs of stress yet. 4/16 Soil pH is still super low on the sick plant and continues to decline, I watered both plants with baking soda water and was able to get the healthier plants soil to 5.8ph. In a last ditch effort to salvage the sick plant, I cut off the fabric pot and transplanted to a planter I had with double the soil capacity. There were no roots stuck to the walls of fabric pot, the base had some but overall I caused very little damage to root system. I watered again with baking soda water and it's now at 4.4ph the fresh soil I put in planter was 6.8 and immediately after watering the new soil tested down to 4. I'm hoping I can get some leaching of buildup from the old soil to the new and get it balanced quickly. I was able to get both plants soil testing around 5.8ph and out of the extreme acidity. There are some spots here and there that are testing a little lower. The healthier plant was showing the slightest spotting all over today, I watered it to about 20% runoff with calmag. Hopefully neither plant get any worse. 4/17 repotting the plant seemed to help tremendously, it really frosted up and seems to have resumed flowering. The other plant seems to be about a 7-10 days behind. 4/20 Bigger plant has really taken on a purple hue, pistils are appx 15-20% turned. Other plant seems to be 7-10 days behind, this is the plant that was over watered in the beginning and was stunted.

You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way because with these few steps, you could have a 99% of success if seeds are fresh (we store our seeds in a dark and sealed container in the fridge and they last years!). This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY technique BUT you have to respect some little and easy steps: 1๏ธโƒฃtake one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; 2๏ธโƒฃdispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, 3๏ธโƒฃtake a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face the wet side down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; 4๏ธโƒฃspray the dry side 3 times. 5๏ธโƒฃput your "sandwich/es" in a sealed dark container of a sufficient size to store them, I use a plastic container (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30cm .It contains about 8 "sandwitches". 6๏ธโƒฃstore the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17ยฐC (23/24 ยฐC are optimal)and more. REMEMBER: More light they see and colder is the place, slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death and may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. If you follow these steps, you will hardly have problem of non-germinating seeds. I tried all methods (except rockwool cube) and in the last two years (and I germinated a lot of seeds) I can tell this is the fastest and reliable way. I loved to use paper towel but with this method is very easy to put too much water... I really hope that this "rule" will help all growers to improve their skills. D29 - The start of the fifth week of vegetation. All is relatively uneventful, and all I'm doing is tightening the LST wires each day. Since transplanting the girls last week, the girls are quietly doing their thing, and I have yet to turn on the Blumat system. The soil was quite most when transplanting, plus I keep the humidity high to deter thrips. I had (have?) thrips in my other tent and want to avoid them getting into this one. D31 - Last night I finished hooking up the Blumat system, but I didn't turn it on as the soil moisture was still sufficient. I really should say that I thought I didn't turn it on, but when I opened the tent today, #1 was completely flooded, with a good 2-3 cm of water in the tray. It turned out that the shut-off valve was slightly off-center, and that was enough to allow water to trickle through. Ugh. Now I have to wait even longer until I can turn on the system. Not a huge deal as long as it is functioning in a week since I'm planning a short trip for Easter. D33 - LST D35 - The last day of the final week of vegetation as the girls have started to go into flower. I did additional LST and some minor defoliation to eliminate some random leaves. Finally, I turned on the infrared diodes in my grow-light but will hold off another couple of weeks before i turn on the UV diodes.

This week was all about watching Tricombes... Her buds are fattening up nicely, especially since she has received no training really.. She is smelling my balcony up with hints of sexyness everywhere.. She has been an absolute pleasure to grow outdoors.. Only issue this week was humidity..It's really difficult to control outdoors...that has been my only challenge.. I brought her in for a few pics.. And this is what she has turned out to โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’šโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’š

Day 75, close to the end !! Still flushing and getting ready for harvest ! In approx 6 days, I'll harvest my first one, the rest a bit later, not ready yet. So I got a second hand furniture that I turned into a drying box to start drying while the rest is still growing. I'm so excited for the harvest !! It has to be soon cause I'm running out of weed ! I won't wait the curing to be done to start smoking it lol. A huge thanks to all the growers who helped or commented me, I learnt so much on this website, please feel free to ask for help, I'm not an expert but I'll always try to help the community :) Good luck to all !

June 7 - We ordered some new lights last week, they are 240w kingbrite samsung lm310h with uv/ir, 3000k, and meanwell drivers. We setup the new room and moved the girls into there. After a bit of LST and a watering (with nutrients) at roughly 7ph, they were ready to go under the 2 new lights and the same SF-1000 we have been using in this grow. The new room is a 12 ft enclosed trailer. I moved everything from the small tent into this. I put clear poly on the walls, floor and ceiling. I put poly on the shelf I am going to be keeping in there as well. I bought 50ft of 6mm mylar and lined the floors, roof and sides with it. I plan to get some reflective tape to seal everything and to cover the wood. I did not get much of a chance to watch temp's today as they it was later in the evening after all was said and done. The inline fan blowing in air from outside. June 8 - 9 AM i checked the plants, they were at 25.2 and 50% RH. Late through the day I had checked and we had gotten up to around 32 degrees. So I moved the inline fan to the closer vent, hooked up to that, and had the air blowing out of the trailer with the inline fan sucking it from above the lights. I then added oscillating fan and had it blowing air on the left side of the room so it would somewhat circulate once I closed the doors. I then checked at about 9pm and we were at 22 degrees. Definitely noticed a decent amount of growth already. I have the lights on a 22/2 cycle as I was worried about the heat at night time. June 9 - Some great growth from the girls, still having problems controlling the temps in the afternoon. I decided to prop the door open a bit to have a constant breeze throughout the day while I am at work. Decided to do some more LST and also a bit of defoliation. I took about 25% of the leaf's that were blocking the new growth as it was getting a bit bunched up. I was then told the leaf's are almost solar panels for them. So from now on I will be trying to just do some tucking unless needed. The leaf's I removed were most of the damaged leaf's, I am not to sure if that makes much of a difference. I gave them a watering with only water as there is a potential I am getting a bit of a nutrient buildup along with the PH problem. Or potentially the reason for the ph problem is nutrient buildup. After watering with A PH of 7 I got some run off and tested it. The smaller plant gave me a PH of about 5.5 where the bigger one is around 5.0. June 10 - Plants are looking happy and showing tons of growth. Seems to be trying to stretch outwards. Not a ton of sign of PH issues showing so potentially getting it under control. Still a bit of damage to previous leaf's but it is what it is! The last few days I have been leaving the door open a bit in order to keep the temps down. I decided to test something and turn the lights off (automatically) at 11AM and back on at 5PM so light schedule has now changed to 18/6 and it seems I may have figured out the issue. We haven't had lots of sun the last couple days so it hasn't been to hard and I have yet to know if it truly fixed the heat issue for now. (I will be looking into a ac unit as well since it typically gets to around 30-35 around here. June 11 - Pulled some of the branches back down and added a few more LST spots. Seems we have a good amount of growth from the smaller plant out of the 2 topped spots. Unfortunately it looks like I fucked up on the bigger plant and only one of the nodes seems to have new growth. I will continue to monitor that but I think I cut the node to low and also to soon. Other then that, the girls are doing great. They seem to be absolutely loving these new lights. I gave them some nutrient water today as well. roughly 3L each. They seem to be A hell of A lot more thirsty under these new lights. June 12 - The girls are doing great , they are still just doing growing away. Lots of progress everyday. I am going to be getting a go-pro so I can set-up a time-lapse for the rest of this grow. I received my new inline fan, I got A ac infinity CLOUDLINE T4 with the temperature humidity controller. I am going to be having one fan pushing fresh air in and one fan pulling out the hot air. I will be doing that tomorrow since I have to work today. June 13 - I ordered another 50ft of mylar and that showed up today. I have decided to remove the shelf and add another 3+ feet to the grow space. So today I installed more poly, mylar, the ac infinity fan. I have it set-up to pump in air if it gets to warm. I am thinking of switching it to the output that way if it gets to hot or to humid I can have that air pulled out of the trailer. Right now my other inline fan is the outtake and I just have it set on full. Overall I think everything is set-up a bit better and more accessible. I will be putting my 2x2 tent in there at the left of the doors so I can have a veg room when these 2 are in flower. I plan to have 4 in veg and 4 in flower for the next grow. Still waiting on JOTI seeds, ordered 3 weeks ago and still have not been shipped. I will be getting those going the moment they arrive. The girls seem to be happy still, did a bit more LST to try to keep everything even, mainly I'm just pulling down on the spots I already have tie wire on.
