Things are going well , almost done 2 weeks of flowering already tops are forming up nicely very excited to see what the future hold in store for me with these 2 lovely ladies I might start training them soon depending on growth so stay tuned for that ! At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Good evening, a little late but updating... this girl is more compact, but the buds are extremely resinous and fragrant as the last weeks approach... Otherwise everything is as expected. Happy growing! 🌱🌱

Smooth sailing this week. I added the grow nutrients on the mid week water and yesterday and the girls loved it! Number one looks like it’s a little mutated or damaged by me accidentally but is just a tad smaller. Other than feeding every other day or so and filling the humidifier up every day that’s about all. Overall really pleased with finished buds really frosty, tight packed and really dense. Not bad for 3rd grow, really learning a lot each time and can’t wait to get back up and running. Been really easy to grow this strain minimal attention needed, really busy most of time so this strain is recommended for someone who doesn’t have an awful lot of time to really invest and if you have time even better as this strain I believe would be capable of much more with a bit more pampering

Sorry for the lack of updating recently I have a new job & don’t have much time for anything but I just wanted to show how amazing these ladies are doing! Both Strains smell unbelievable & by far some of the frostiest plants I have grown, have taken to fox farm nutrients very & they have not really gave me any issues the entire grow! Dry baby dry 😲.. Well I would Firstly like to thank FastBuds ( Especially Heather) for the sponsorship.. As a grower I now know what everyone has been going on about having quality genetics... You truly see the difference between the two.. The smells and overall experience with this strain was exceptional 👌 👏 🙌 😍 ✨️.. I can not wait to load her into the bong chamber... I feel like a kid again hehehe 😅.. But with all good things....comes patience... Which leads me to the DRY PHASE.... MAKE OR BREAK TIME ⏲️ 🤔 😌.. As growers we all know that this is the most terrifying part of it 😳 😬.. You can literally lose or even ruin your entire harvest during this period.. Room temperature and humidity is the key 🔑.. No sunlight on buds and so forth.. I dialed my temperature to an even 22 degrees with 70% humidity..

Today is the beginning of the 5th week I see the first sings of hairs/pistles she does not need feeding so I am going to top dress her with some local bat guano and some raw bloom stage microbes in prep for the next feeding. Hopefully she gives me some more stretch. Side not I know I could be asking a lot of questions but would just rather learn the process by watching her and see what she does and when so I can better programe in the process for any other auto grow. I feed her on sunday/yesterday just to add an update. See above nutrients and additives.

Dec 12: Growth has been good, leafs started yellowing as I tried a regular watering as opposed to a feed, and they did not take well to it. I’ve read that it’s good to incorporate waterings between feeds, but 24hr later noticed a bit of yellowing on the lower section, 48hr post watering even more yellowing. Dec 18: Going with feed only and yellowing has halted, stretching has officially begun. No adverse effects from the short term nitrogen deficiency (that’s what I narrowed it down to). Playing with budsites to maintain an even canopy, and as soon as I see stretching halt, and fattening begin, I will up the bloom nutes. Dec 20:

📆 Semana 7 La Variegated Sour GPP sigue desarrollándose con carácter propio y mucha presencia. Los cogollos han seguido compactándose, y esa estructura tan peculiar, similar a una coliflor apretada, se acentúa cada vez más. Es una forma poco común, pero muy llamativa, que aporta un contraste interesante respecto al resto del cultivo. La densidad de las flores y la distribución de la resina van en aumento, lo que indica que la planta está en plena madurez floral. En cuanto a la nutrición, sigo aplicando el plan de XpertNutrients, sin ajustes por ahora. La planta responde bien, se nota cómoda y sigue absorbiendo de forma eficiente. El riego se mantiene controlado, respetando los ciclos húmedo-seco que tan bien le están sentando. La iluminación con los Adlite continúa rindiendo al máximo: la homogeneidad en la exposición está favoreciendo una floración uniforme, y las puntas lucen cubiertas de resina, incluso en las zonas menos protagonistas. Las condiciones ambientales permanecen estables, con temperaturas entre 22 y 25 °C y una humedad en torno al 55%. Gracias a la circulación constante de aire, no se han detectado signos de hongos o estrés por condensación. El aroma se ha intensificado notablemente esta semana. Predominan las notas ácidas típicas del linaje Sour, pero ahora se suman toques más picantes y herbales que complejizan el perfil. Los tricomas siguen en su mayoría lechosos, sin presencia significativa de ámbar aún. Puede que no haya mostrado variegación, pero la expresión morfológica y aromática de esta planta es singular y muy prometedora. ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.

July 21, 2020 update. The indoor girls are looking close to harvest. Outdoors the buds still look loose and airy, but all of the hairs have curled in and are turning red/brown. I'm thinking about cutting them all down in the next few days - mainly because my existing jars are getting low. 😮

I have a few week 3's in here but they were literally a couple daya from coming into week 4....and i forgot to put them into the last veg journal, soooo....to sum up week 4 in 1 word, that would be " EXPLOSIVE"!!! THE GROWTH IS UNREAL. i had to train the plant about 4 times this week alone. I am seriously regretting putting this in a 1/2 gallon pot...should of kept her in the 3 gallon. Oh well we gonna roll with the punches!
