They both have started to flower! So far so good both plant seem to be doing great with no issues.

A lot of spreading this week. They basically doubled in size if not more and are now starting to grow up. Due to this incredible growth I've cut some leaves of the bottom; they've just gotten over grown by other leaves and the top to let more light in.

Finally the stretched stopped. Cut about 10 tops bent about 20 with 90s. Still right in the lights. They are looking very happy even though they are so close to the light ( thanks to high c02 levels most likely.) Another week or 2 before I cut the temps and co2 levels down. Been trimming all leaves below light line. Stinky and brutally sticky I feel like Clark griswold with pine sap when ever I am bending the tops and such.. I think even with them being in the lights I will still get a few pounds of premium flower to smoke :)

Noticed some more pink/purple stems on the plants and decided to increase the phosphorus content in the feed by mixing in half grow and half bloom from the nutrient lineup. I'd use the PK booster I have but its to high in K for my liking. The entire lineup is very high in K. mixing grow and bloom gives a NPK ratio of 7-7-14 then done 1:1 equal parts. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 Run off was a bit high for my liking but only seeing minimal signs of nutrient burn. Still watering once with feed and runoff and then later in the week with water and no/little runoff for my watering cycle.The number in the nutrient section are wrong but the EC and ratio are correct. Also impressed the roots have started popping out the bottom of the container already after only being transplanted for a week. Good root growth on these ones. Lights doing well. The V1 spectrum is good on the medic grow mini sun-2's 240w. No issues so far, dimmed at 80% . Parece que ya no seguirá engordando, ya que si lo hace lo mas probable es que se rompan sus ramas por el alto peso que tienen las flores. Hoy vi sus tricomas y se ven ya en su punto.

Thats it, last fan leaves are yellow and those girls are ready, they still pack up, loads of new pistils visible, despite all going brown from low temps during greenhouse period. I start to see ambers a lot, they are not so leafy and i lost 2 main colas to bud rot, better safe than sorrow !!! Theirs calyxes are well matured all stems browny pinky, they made a journey in full in my eyes and as always i still hate yellow leaves, don't want to slaughter bud while trimming. Think two more days, then 48 hours of darkness and late sunday eve - they are chopped and wet trimmed. Thursday. Added couple closeups, but they are far better then in photos, bulking up each day, packing trichs like crazy. This time buds don't look so lanky, from airy leafy crap, they become solid nugs... Its my third different grow of this strain. First 4 plants and Biggest clone looked really similar, this ones - more Real GG4 structure, love it !!! All got lite pinky , violet colours . All have fruity smell, just not last ones ;)) they are wild strawberries + . Amazing flavour of early buds tells me final harvest will be fire !!! Have stupid feeling, taking them down too early, but my yellow leaves OCD whispers me " Cut, cut, cut ..." ;))) Chop Chop Day. Wet trim chosen, they are sparkling !!! Fat, but still leafy ... Found 3 budrot spots, two would eat big colas, but low humidity forced those leaves just die off without infecting others, so it was perfect timing. Happy Growing !

Auch diese Woche ist eigentlich alles gut gelaufen. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist relativ hoch und das wird vermutlich noch Probleme bereiten. Ich habe schon zwei Luftentfeuchter im Zelt platziert, die helfen allerdings nur bedingt. In Zukunft werde ich wohl doch weniger Triebe stehen lassen und mehr ausdünnen, gerade im unteren Bereich.

This time we are faced with an absolute novelty from Zamnesia, a plant from the latest generation of an immense series that Zamnesia is bringing out, ready to try them all. Here we have excellent parents, the primette result is great, let's also try the Karen Kush. I was amazed by the perfect branding for this strain and so let it be Karen. To explain my germination method which is a combination of experiences acquired in the field and readings of the right advisors, I have chosen to divide it into phases so whoever wants can follow them and understand better step by step. - Preparatory Phase ---- Check the average temperature in the room, humidity status to understand if it is the case to start or wait, I decided for the end of August because the temperatures start to drop towards the 22-25 degrees recommended for germination. Then another thing more or less credible depending on the sensitivity is the control of the lunar phases. I believe in it a lot, it is a method that ancient farmers used to understand when it was best to plant depending on the attraction of the moon. To make my life easier I use a simple app that advises you on the right time to plant, harvest and put in the jar (depending on the lunar phases). - Phase 1 --- Soaking in water. There are many authoritative friends who advise against this method due to the risk of drowning, but I have always been fine and I follow the rule if it opens in water the seed is almost certainly healthy and will come out of the ground 90% normally. - Phase 2 --- Opening the seed in water. As soon as the seed opens and the root comes out a little, you have to be very very careful not to leave the seed in the water open for too long. This is why there is a risk of drowning. So as soon as the root comes out, it must be planted. Do not wait for it to stretch out a lot, you can wait a little longer in the absorbent paper, but not in water. - Phase 3 --- In the meantime, while I soaked the seeds, I prepared my pots: I use small biodegradable pots (choose the ones with holes underneath for drainage). A few hours before working with the opened seeds, I moistened the soil with water adjusted to the right pH (5.8 - 6.2) and Plagron Power Roots. The small root is now open and we can make a little hole with a toothpick, widen it and insert the seed. Not too deep with the root facing downwards. From Serious Seeds we learned the dome technique: if you put a small dome of soil on the seed the water will settle on the sides avoiding overwatering problems. - Phase 4 --- The plant emerges from the soil. So far I have not put the light, now I turn it on at minimum after half a day of soil to give direction to the seedlings. The first week the light will be gradually brought from 40% to 60% to go to 70% - 75% in the remaining weeks of veg. During the first week maximum, I keep the cycle of 24 hours to avoid stretching. We have made it to the end of Week 6. Conditions in the tent have improved DRAMATICALLY. The heat wave has finally passed and the temperature has finally leveled out. Not only that, the super weird monsoon weather that we were having has also passed and now the humidity is not rising above 60%. This turn for the best is really showing and also fixing the pH problem I had also probably helped a lot. Going to push the PPM a little more this week, between 750-850 The color of the buds is really coming through now, especially in the pineapple express and zkittles. The melonsicle seems to be growing much more like a traditional sativa. I feel it's about a week behind schedule with the rest of the plants. It seems to be on a true 9 or 10 week tract at this point. I think the blue gelato is going to be a bust in terms of yield. It just got heavily over shadowed by the other three plants from the beginning. It has stayed quite small and I am not sure it will yield heavily. Hopefully the smoke is quality and I will be impressed enough with my first Barney's Farm experience to try again.

The ladys are so happy that they even pushed for height a bit more and building the flowers really beautiful. Weather is getting better and better each day. Top temperature was 32°C one day. Started adding Phosphorus+ and removing a few leaves that are blocking the sun to much from the lower buds. Removed some last week, too (not shown in pictures). I control them every day for pests, but so far they love my chili and arugula more. Even some ladybugs decided to join the party and lay some eggs on the other plants. They are having a feast 😁 So far so good. Nothing to complain about. Just awesome plants with awesome growth. Midweek update: thought I give you a little update via video

Growth is a little slower. This spring was much colder than the last few years. I hope they still have time to sprout.. Nice week.
