This journal is now current as of 7/1, and this entry is for last week (June 23-29). Growth is continuing to be explosive on the Blue Dream--she is now 37 inches. This last week, however, received 3 days of rain and very heavy winds that I thought would kill the plant. The video shows just how bad the wind became. She shows signs of overwatering (spotting on fan leaves, though new growth looks fine) which is to be expected given that she received 3 days of rain and had no chance to dry out. Nevertheless, she persisted. 😊 I added the first netting to try out a scrog method. It's definitely not going to be perfect, and I'm definitely an amateur experimenting with method. Will attempt to develop an even canopy. GSC and Green Cush continue to grow reliably.

This week the plant was bended, and accidentally i broke a branch ... But she recovered well, she selected the other branches to grow just like in 2 h nothing could be done, but as you can see she is concentrating the growth in the other colas, so the structure is bended against the pot and with 3 main branches at the moment... Another little problem appeared when, 2 days after using Green Explosion in a half dose, i raised the Top Veg to 2.5 ml/l but she reacted bad and some overfertilization spots are apperaing in the tips of the leaves, im uploading it when the next week is complete... But dont worry is not too much overdose, just a little, (Its like she said thats the limit at the moment ) so after this, next 2 irrigations are being done with plain water to flush the soil... Im not using Micro Vita, but i gotta get that magic microbes to avoid this messy things, they muffle all this changes in PH !!! So next week, transplanting to definitive text pot, bacterian life and until the end :) But everything is fine this plant is soo strong and nothing cant stop her at the moment :D Take care GD !!

another week on full dose. 3-4 weeks remaining.

Week 5 – Balanced Bloom & Nutrient Adjustment (16 Oct – 23 Oct) Budshot Betty keeps pushing forward in mid-bloom. The canopy is full and even, and the buds are starting to bulk up nicely. I kept the light at 100W / 32cm, which gives her great intensity without any stress signs. At the start of the week she received plain water (2.7 L) to reset the medium a bit and let the roots breathe. After that, I returned to her regular feeding but slightly modified the mix because I noticed a few small rust spots on some leaves. Since I can’t check pH directly, I decided to lower the nutrient strength by about 25% from the manufacturer’s chart. Current feed (2.7 L water): • Iguana Juice Bloom – 3 ml/L • Ancient Earth OG Organics – 2 ml/L • Big Bud OG Organics – 1.5 ml/L • CalMag (BioBizz) – 1 ml/L She looks healthy and vibrant again — the rust hasn’t spread, and the leaves stay strong and green. The buds are swelling, pistils multiplying, and the smell is getting more intense every day. Overall, a calm and balanced week focused on stability and prevention rather than pushing too hard.

Fed compost tea with added Bio PK today. Plain water all following feedings. Did a heavy defoliation session to let as much light penetrate the lower canopy as possible to help with bud ripening. Very happy with how she is filling out, looks like her buds are going to be really nicely sized.

Las flores no son para nada llamativas, una variedad más cruzada con rudelaris, que para mi gusto es perder el tiempo y el dinero invertido en cultivar cosas así… no merece la pena en interior, el ratio de gramo watio se me quedó en 0.5 , de los no peores resultados que tuve en los últimos 5 años. a sido una genética con la que no disfruté nada cultivarla, es complicada, es bastante sensible. Enjoyed growing bloody skunk such a pretty plant. The smells coming off these girls are mouthwatering would love to grow some more in the future. I got almost a blackberry/ grape skunk smell off of them.

Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

Week 6, 2 weeks outside, first week was a blast, fantastic wheater good night temps. Second week was much colder. Daytime temps just tipping 20 degrees celcius in the sun. Nighttime was between 6 and 7 degrees. Pictures are plant 1 in the shed with transparent roof. Not a real serre, its more just a roof and some protection against most of the elements of nature. Video is plant 2, she's hardening because of the harsh nights. She didnt grow as much as plant 1, but looks healthy, goal number 1 at this moment. Better times are coming so all will settle. 🍀🍀🍀

Baked Bomb autoflower is flowering good. She has shown some potassium deficiency signs. I been adjusting her feed. She has been super thirsty as well. It's going fairly well at the moment. This little lady is turning out to be a piglet just like her sister. She is drinking so much I though I had a leak in my auto drainage system because I came after a few days out of town and the 32 gallon reservoir was almost empty but so was my drain bucket outside the tent. I opened the tent expecting it to be soaking wet on the floor but there was not a drop of water, so I had to up her watering to 5 gallons per day to even get a quart of runoff. I also had to remove the mini dehumidifier and replace it with a full size dehumidifier to keep the tent under 50% RH. I also have a full size dehumidifier running outside the tent and it is keeping the RH at around 40% outside the grow tent. She is starting to smell very nice and grapey, not overpowering yet when you open the tent, but I feel like in a few weeks she will definitiely be there.
