Making butter is not very hard just time consuming but I very much enjoy making it. If you want really good butter you gotta cook slow and for long time. I ground 39 grams of my Granddaddy Purple and Purple Kush with 8oz (227 grams) butter. I decarbed the ground bud at 220 f for 40 minutes. While the bud is in the oven I melt the butter slowly with 1 cup of water. When butter is melted and the oven timer finishes add bud to butter and simmer for at least 8 hours, I did it for 12 hours. Never let boil! Add 1/4 cup water every 1-2 hours. After I will lay cheese cloth over plastic container and strain and squeeze all the goodness out. Day 43: Watered at 6.5 today. Girls looking pretty good other than a small amount of clawing on some leaves. Thinking I have the fan blasted on them too much. Backed it off a touch and we shall see. Also, my rust spots are starting to come back barely and I think I may up the nutes next go as they are hungry. Stacking up nicely though. Day 44: Busy, no update. Day 45: Girls looking frosty! Think I may have screwed the pooch on one of the girls. Got a little rough picking up the pots and may have snapped a main cola. In the uploaded video notice where its zoomed. Praying! 🙏 Day 46: Letting the girls dry out today. Will give em a thorough watering tomorrow. Not able to upload pics/vids currently. Day 47: No new updates. Day 48: The girls look great! 💪 Gave them a cleanse and just fed with CalMag and Sensizym. Looks like they are finished with the stretch and starting to build mass. Hoping for at least a couple huge colas! Day 49: Looking good. No new updates. I have been keeping a very close eye on the runoff PPM's as I am starting to have some rusty splotches on the leaves again. I have upped the CalMag to see if this helps as that is what it is looking like.

Smoke smell in curing jars. All have a peculiar smell. Sweet but not strong. When buds taken out no smell on collectively that they have a smell. Smoke it self is very very smooth the flushing must of done it good that's an assumption but the smoke it's grey/white a tinge of black The affects are very heavy no paranoia or anything just a good strong indica smoke RQS have done it again excellent smoke and happy growing I would recommend to anyone. Only thing is I would recommend to anyone is ALWAYS PH YOUR FEED. Everything must be ph'ed it saves you alot of time and makes sure your girls are catered for. Perhaps another time I would use rooting enhancement as there wasn't a lot of roots like I was expecting Happy smoking all PS. The light was 240w So that's 0.44 gram per watt. Probably could of done bette had the small potted one been in a 40L as well.

Chop day. Everything is looking and smelling incredible. The range of smells I've got so far are: floral, grape, blueberry, gas, burnt rubber, tangerine, funk. Everything appeared fully mature beside the Cambodian x Meat Breath and Pak Man so decided this was the best time to cut them down.

She strong little thing this the 2nd seed I planted of this strain the 1st one didn't pop for me idk why. Only spray and bottle watering her for right now she is in a 5 gallon pot don’t want to over water the pot and cause nat or mold issues. Today is the 1st day of the 2nd week. Dome came off the past few days also.

Einen wunderschönen guten Tag, liebe Grow-Community, und herzlich willkommen zur 14. Woche meines kleinen Outdoorprojekts! Diese letzte Woche ging es den Damen an den Kragen … Da die Kleinen in letzter Zeit doch ordentlich an Pflanzenmasse zugelegt hatten und das Wetter in Kombination mit zu dichtem Blattwerk ein erhöhtes Pilzrisiko birgt, habe ich mir die Schere geschnappt und die Pflänzchen ordentlich ausgedünnt. Ich bin hierbei relativ radikal vorgegangen (nach dem Prinzip „Viel hilft viel“). Das hat mehrere Gründe: Einerseits bin ich kein Fan von diesen ganzen Popcornnug-Geschichten (sowohl qualitativ als auch vom Trimaufwand her). Ich stelle die Qualität immer über die Quantität und so gewährleiste ich, dass die Haupttriebe die gesamte Energie erhalten und optimal performen können. Des Weiteren gewährte ich so eine deutlich bessere Luftzirkulation und vermeide ein unnötiges Überlappen der Blätter, welche wiederum Kondenswasser einfangen und somit ein optimales Klima für Pathogene bilden. Und last but not least darf ich ja eh nur meine 50 g/Person ernten.😇 Beim sogenannten „Lollipopping“ verwende ich eine frisch sterilisierte Schere, welche ich nach jeder Pflanze neu reinige, um eine mögliche Kreuzkontaminierung zu vermeiden. Vor diesem Eingriff habe ich den Pflanzen noch eine Stärkung verabreicht, um sie auf den kommenden abiotischen Stress (nicht durch Lebewesen erzeugter Stress) vorzubereiten. Hier kam wieder mein noch nicht so altbewährter Biostimulator ins Spiel. Dieses Mal allerdings in Kombination mit einem Komposttee. Dieser hat den Vorteil, dass er den Gasaustausch der Pflanze fördert (,,ein lebenswichtiger Prozess, bei dem Sauerstoff (O₂), Kohlenstoffdioxid (CO₂) und Wasserdampf mit der Umgebung ausgetauscht werden“), indem sich die Mikroorganismen um die Spaltöffnung (Stomata) ansiedeln und diese sich schneller öffnet und schließt. Wichtig ist hierbei noch zu erwähnen, dass sich die meisten Stomata auf der Blattunterseite befinden, diese also ebenfalls besprüht werden sollte. Und da wir Bakterien ausbringen, ist es von Bedeutung, mit großen Tropfen und wenig Druck zu arbeiten und die Pflanze möglichst nass zu machen. Jetzt hoffe ich nur noch, dass das Wetter wieder mitspielt und wir gesund und vital in die Blüte übergehen können. Und zum Schluss noch das altgewohnte Gequengel: Grow Diaries hat mir aus irgendwelchen Gründen meine Views gedrittelt (vielleicht wegen der Kritik im letzten Bericht)😁. She is growing so vigoursly. I have to start to flower her and maybe even completely stop the whole grow because of personal stuff in life. I really hope I don't have to get rid of her. This is my first time with an earth box and I'm in love with it

Slowly stretching, doubled in height and width. At end of week going to start feeding foxfarm trio at half dosage following feeding schedule. Growing steadily. Still slightly tucking leaves. Trying to give least amount of stress as possible.

Bonus material- my cannabutter pics. No smoke report for a while but I can give you an edibles report in a few hours 😂 Plant #1 suffered gravely and thus was harvested early, dried, and turned into beaaautiful butter/edibles hehe. The rest of it is box drying and I'll be doing the same with that. The top of the plant (first harvest of sorts, after bud rot discovered) was 49g dry, not inc ofc what was binned. I'll let you know the dry weight of the rest but no point giving you a smoke report. She was cut early and suffered a looooot The purple lemonade began as the underdog and quickly took over as my #1 babe. It was far more resilient to environmental conditions and changes- and let's not forget that they went through a hurricane with me and power out for a few days! I don't find her strong on the nose at all despite how big some of her buds are, and how frosty. Very piney, and that dominates everything else. Very excited to see what terps come out more in the cure though- I hear great things about this strain. She was cut today and is hanging in a dark closet with small fan, RH 65% and temp 22c. I did not take a wet weight, but she's heavy. Super looking forward to smoking this one, after a few more weeks of TLC... Sigh. Always we try to wait haha. I will report back when I have more for you all. Thanks to everyone that answered my questions and supported me through my first grow. I've definitely got the bug now and there'll be no stopping me haha Will be back with smoke report and dry weights laterrr 🇨🇦 --- Nov 12 - Plant dried for 6 days. It is a lot airier than I thought it was going to be, so most of it ended up as shake for edibles or something. I ended up with 38g of big bud, 33 of smaller, and over 40g of larf and shake. Even the big buds are airy though, not dense at all. A little disappointing for sure, but I made a lot of mistakes so it isn't a surprise. It is now in jars with humidity packs and I'll report back in a couple of weeks or so with a smoke report :)

Day 127. Oh boy it will be my longest grown plant indoors. This bean is from bagweed, just wanted to show, that from shitty weed found seed you can produce good result, but i screw up with this girl by having no space for her, by giving her to wrong guy ... And now again, i checked temps during my holidays and lowest was 13 , highiest 33 ... Very bad, she is from leafy pheno and that didnt helped for buds and leafy i dont like already, hate triming .... ;) Will do last hard training apart from everyday lst here and there , she will loose a bit of leaves tomorrow before watering just phed water. I never feed after training. Tomorrow she will go to new tent and i start new diary, hands full ;) Happy growing ! Day 128. Girl got small defoliation , up to 50 leaves, now more buds get light, have to prepare her for smaller , where i will fit only one light, otherwise its too hot inside .... All movement postponed for a bit, have to leave town so only phed water for her after new look. She drinks now like 5 liters every 3 days. Day 131 . She is stinky sticky b**ch ;)) Amazing plant, my mini bonza, would want to flaten her up, but in new tent fan has to have space aswel ;) Her new fan is delayed an i quess it will take a week to be redelivered ... Fingers crossed. Heavy feed - done. ;) Day 132. She starts to pack up a bit, maybe it will be something desent again. Girl is under two lights ( quantum boards 2x240) and in a week will stay just under 240 , but in new tight house with better reflection from walls, hope it will even pars , despite power loss .... I think i will smoke first joint on day 160, its almost half of the year, crazy adventure ... Her leaves are too green, so no silica and red leaves stemps doesnt show up, so no cal mag . Think she'll have like 2-3 feeds max in two weeks and then final strech ;)

Day 78 - The exciting weeks begins! The smell is nice and fruity and more pistils are browning by the day. Also happy to report that no height was gained on the main colas in the last 10 days. This is a good thing, as my lights are as height as it gets for my tent. I've had to keep the tent pretty wrapped up lately to let the carbon filter do it's thing. The smell is amazing, but creeping down my stairwell if I don't keep an eye on it. 🍊🌲 Day 79 - She's taking up less water these days. Could be influenced by the high humidity in the area and defoliation. Everything looks good and some of the satellite buds are starting to really brown their hairs. Day 80 - Trichomes on some of the satellite buds are turning cloudy! The rest are all still very clear. We've made it into the 80's, not long now! 🌲 Day 81 - Rolling into the 80's! All seems good today. Day 82 - Water uptake is reducing. Pistils are turning brown on the lower ends on the colas now. Day 83 - Starting to see cloudy trichomes on some bud, but most are still clear. Looking really frosty. 🍊🌲 Day 84 - The end of the week! I'm thinking she'll be close to 100 days before the harvest. Everything went well this week - if only the humidity in my area would drop a bit that would help out. Onto the final weeks!

Flower day 56. Strong yellow and purple fade in the leaves. We are getting close to finish. On one LO I cut the main colas already and put them in dryferm bags. The rest will be hung up for drying. Just a few days left. LO sweet citrus with lots of trichomes. Smaller leafy buds . BBP fruity sweet aroma with big ass Buds and heavy weight. RJ with spicey aroma and very dense and heavy buds. For the last 2 waterings only ph regulated water with just a very little calmag und flores nutes.

Good week. Addition of humidifier and fan have led to a stable environment. Gelato coming through properly now. Cookies is looking strong. Day 14 second feed. 3ml rhizotonic, 2ml a/b.
