Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

Started this week out by super cropping the plant right above the fourth node. The next day the plant was pointed towards the light again, and after a few days I had to tie the top down or it would have been standing up straight again. Watering with 1L every 2-3 days.

The first week of vegetation is complete, and the plant is off to an okay start! After spending 5 days in the seedling station, I transplanted it into a 15L fabric pot, which will be its final home since it’s an autoflower.🌱 Initially, things weren’t perfect—the first set of leaves turned yellow, likely because I forgot to add coco to the area where I planted it.😅 However, the plant recovered quickly and is now bouncing back nicely! One hiccup was the time-lapse footage—it’s a bit shaky because the fan was directed at the plant, causing some wobble. Overall, I’m optimistic about the plant’s progress and looking forward to seeing how it develops in the coming weeks.🌱 (the plant in the little pot is my first phenotype Runtz muffin from barneys farm that i got gifted and i am getting the setup right now)

The girls are loving their new home and enjoying the heatwave we are experiencing here in Ontario. There was a big rainfall yesterday to break the heat so that was nice treat. I did spray them with a neem oil soapy mixture as I found a few bugs on the underleaves. Could have been aphids but I'm not 100% sure. Also found a few leaves that were munched on by Japanese Beatles. I've gotten rid of 2 of those Beatles already but seems to be the time of the season as they are all over my veggie garden too. I'll probably move them closer to my garden beds next to some companion plants. Maybe it'll help with the bugs.

Okay. Sorry for the slacking where I slacked here. But here we go. I have one photo when I transplanted to my 8 bucket system. They were very mistreated, left in a cloner with plain water for months. They looked haggard. But after a couple months of tlc. I vegged them back to perfect health and flipped to flower. Not going through the weeks of vegging because honestly it’s the auto pilot part of the grow. I selected this mozzarella out of 3 moms. Now for my first harvest replicated. I started day 0 flower Jan 19th of 23. They were about 12 weeks of veg and stretching to get these where I wanted for my scrog. Mozzarella stays very short. So turning my lights down and spacing far away was necessary to stretch. She is a heavy feeder and rewarded. tolerated ppms of 1400 in the past. No Co2 used. Yet. My lights draw 800w each 2 in a 5x10 tent.

Lots of growth over the last week. She's doubled in overall size. Hope she'll start flowering very soon. Can't see any pistils yet though. The colas are bulking out and there seems to be plenty of possible bud sites. I'll be keeping a very close eye on her this week and keeping fingers crossed for pistil growth. Little sister is aiming for the stars. She is very tall now in comparison (35cm vs 22cm) and is starting to fill out with foliage.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes.I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day. I've released the top which was being held down for some LST the last 3 weeks. She slowly started to stretch but I think she will be this size until the very end. Tight spacing between each nod its hard to actually show with pictures how bushy this one actually is. Defoliation will be necessary but I'm giving her another week at least to finish her growth and to avoid any stunt before defoliation. This week all plants but the Sweet Tooth will be getting Massive nutrients from Green Planet which does wonders for getting those fat colas.

The growing cycle it self worked out as expected, except that the pH-level was way off from where it should be, and I found out a bit too late. Because of this the outcome of the harvest didn't say much about the potential of this strain, but as soon as I got enough time and space, she will get a new chance to shine. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2018-02-27. This is my review / smoke report of this lovely cbd flower. There are rock hard buds and almost no give at all, even in those smaller buds. When you grind it the scent will appear more than just smelling on the buds. It smells a little weak of grass, hay, pepper, some spicy and sweet. The taste is grass, soil, pepper and exceedingly sweet fruit. The effect is directly, the thc feeling above the eyes and in the forehead. A little light ringing in the ears and a dry mouth. After 10 minutes, the cbd kicks in and one feels that the neck and shoulders begin to relax and the feeling continues down over the back and chest down to the stomach. A calm and well-being is found in the body. After 15-20 minutes it is down in the legs. But in a strange way, you also feel like doing something, or meeting some friends and just sitting and talking about fun things. It is a very well-balanced strain and it fits in all sorts of contexts. I also think it might be good for someone who needs something that makes you more social and dampens enough anxiety and rushing thoughts effectively. I think this is a lovely strain and I highly recommend it to everyone but especially for more inexperienced people who want to soften with a pleasant medicine.

This week went pretty well, other than she stretched like crazy and I am now getting worried about running out of vertical space. I also had a few of my bottom leaves get a few brown and yellow spots on them. I did post some pics and asked a question, thank you for the responses, much appreciated! I am thinking about adding my Spyder Farmer LED 100 Watt light into the tent for the nebula auto because it is about 23 inches shorter than the sour diesel. I believe it would only raise my temp about 2 degrees, and possibly lower the humidity by one or two percent. I must say my dehumidifier has been a freaking stud, running 24X7 and not complaining. I should look into adding another unit, it has been in the mid 90's and muggy for about a week. So far I have to say I am super impressed and excited with this setup, the genetics, and with growing this wonderful plant in general. Already planning ahead to my next grow, and what I can do better. I have been enjoying myself and I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to answer my questions! I am having a blast and am excited to see what this lady will give up in a few weeks!

This plant was chopped at 91 days from seed has been hung and slow dried humidity controlled at around 60% strong orange and skunk smell will be jaring for a month now as branches have become snappy and I have weighed up everything roughing trimmed dry at 31g which for 3.50 I’m pretty happy with sorry for rough late updates back to work after lockdown and have been busy!
