Time to chop. Good amount of amber trichomes starting to show up on interior calyxes. Still drinking some water, but not fattening up. Definitely more Foxtailing. Not worried about that. Buds look great. I did notice some temperature spikes at the same time the last few days when I was reviewing the data logs. Right around 4 o’clock. I have my AC Infinity heater removed from the AI and I have it set to off. Minimum speed is set to zero. For some reason, it still kicked on the last few days. Good to know. No damage done. I unplugged that bitch.

6/27 - Sorry I missed my update yesterday guys, but here it is.... I flushed another 2 gallons of ph'd tap water through the soil. I think the clawing is improving. 6/28 - The clawing is noticeably better today, its still clawing hard at the top but the lower branches have flattened out. And by golly this thing has grown a massive amount just overnight. I noticed I can see roots popping out the side of my smart pot, that honestly makes me very happy. I tied down some more of the tops to help them grow into the light. I cut off one of the tops at the very bottom that was growing slowly and not getting any light, For fun I put it in a cup of water to see if it will take root. 6/29 - Incredibly explosive growth. Clawing has improved further. She grew tored the light so fast the top leaves were beginning to prey. Pulled the top down some more. Now I'm playing her some Rebelution so she'll relax into her new restraints 😎 6/30 - Shes looking awesome. Soil is till very wet. nothing to do today except observe. also pretty sure she's been in preflower for at least 4 days, and I'm pretty sure she's in flower now. 7/1 -Watered her today, also decided to tie her top down again. Since I'm pretty sure she's in flower now, and I wanna make sure she has what she needs but I don't think she needs nitrogen yet I decided to give her some Humboldt Secret Flower stacker 0-7-5. I mixed it at 1/4th of what is calls for at the beginning of flower and fed it separate of my routine water. first I flooded the soil with plain PH'd tap water then I applied the flower stacker with a spray bottle around the main stem. 7/2 - On the way to the lake this morning, just wanted to update, I moved my light up away from the plant, kept the power the same. Lowered the PPFD from 1200 down to a max of 900, gonna see how she responds. Might lower the PPFD more tonight. 7/3 - Phone got wet in the lake, sorry for the wide angle shots, the other lens was fogged up with moisture. but I missed adding photos yesterday so I got it done for you. Today I raised my light up some more, now the tops are only getting 800ppfd. Just gonna see how she responds to that. I cut off two lower leaves that were damaged from the soil and no longer getting light. no water today, soil is still moist.

Today will mark 3rd week on Sunday 6/18/23 🌱. Double the size they all about 6 inches now. Looking pretty healthy. Starting to intake more waters. Each weeks I up the PPM to 1200 within Lotus nutrients sitting at 6.3 PH.

Temperatures were mostly in the mid to upper 80s during the day and low 70s at night. I watered 2 times with compost tea adding green sensation on the last watering. Auto Purple Hulk is fattening up her buds and showing lots of purple. Her buds have lots of sugar leaves which possibly can trap moisture causing rot. I check all my outside plants daily in the morning. If it rained that night, I give each stem a good shake to help dry them out. So far so good. The pics show the trichomes filling out the bud structure even without a magnifier. I am getting excited to see the full development of buds, colors and smells. Actual date Feb 10th They're looking good No nutrient burnt so far 24/0 Schedule Watering every 2 days but continue to spray on them like 2 liters everyday to increase humidity lvl to optimal condition Temp is OK Wish it was better but have to repair A/C Anyways bout the girl This gorilla girl XL is slow but developing good, taking her time to grow while it's fully LST, she's redirecting her energy to the other stems and leaves plus main trunk and slowly continues to grow its main stem We're already on 1900PPM We've been giving nutes from the very beginning plus bloom to make sure she gets loaded, but certainly lil bit not to mess up too much with her so we already on 1300ppm bloom stuff 😏 Want to get big yield let's see if we as much as we want

Finally starting to see some roots underneath and some decent growth up top. I’ll update again after changing out the reservoirs to see if that helps with some of what I think is a nitrogen toxicity.

Excited and impatient, starting to come on really well now, everything is going ok as it has been all the way through other than a little struggle with keeping the heat down in the grow tent during the first few weeks in veg, bigger tent and all is ok now, small signs of nutrient burn of a feed this week but don't think anything to be worried about from other diaries i have seen. What do you think its going like so far? day 36. light schedule was 12/12. only for this day tops looking yellow ish. so i suppose its because of the lack of light plus it stretch quite a bit. back to 18/6 then day 37. topped with RO water, 1 quart, pH to 6.0 growth spurt is real. havent seen much like this before day 38. topped with another RO water, 1 quart, pH to 6.0 reservoir water level is decreasing rapidly kinda have to change reservoir before the weekend. noted to self day 39. nothing much really day 40. decided to change the reservoir. water level is low, the reservoir came back at pH 5.2, 360ppm plant is drinking a bunch and needs more nute new regimen was still the same, 600ppm done some light defoliation just to clear some foliage day 41. nothing much still day 42. topped with RO water, 1 quart, pH to 6.0 plant is vigorous, but havent started to flower. is hydro take this long to flower? i mean it stretch almost double it size since last week and there's NO PISTIL AT ALL. NONE AT ALL. checked every one of them im running outta space, 16 inches left to the light

Had some problems this week with my water table ph dropped from 5.8 to 5.1 and the plants showed it. I got the ph balanced back to 5.8 and given some advanced nuts cal mag. Not sure if it’s something to do with the canna. I m new too it so don’t know but after sorting the ph and giving some calmag extra the plants seem happier and are growing fine and leaf damage has frozen were it was.

I am still battling a little magnesium deficiency. Starting to add cal mag in her moisture water between feeds. Likely due to the small Potter she is in. Hopefully will have the rest of that issue resolved now. Also raising the ph a little should help as well. She is growing under the new Spider Farmer G3000 light. I likely will have to transplant to a little bigger small Potter soon. Been using the run off to rinse the substrate I will use. So she won't know anything happened when I do it. Just more room. Basically avoiding a ph difference between coco substrate is plan. The Durban Poison crew is looking robust as we hit week 19 of the grow! The plants continue to thrive in their vegetative stage, filling out their space under the netting with healthy, vibrant growth. Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Consistent IPM remains a priority to keep the garden healthy. By utilizing companion plants like African marigolds and strawberries strategically placed around the grow bags, we are successfully deterring pests naturally. The Marigolds: This year, the yellow marigold has truly stood out, growing even taller than the surrounding orange varieties, making it the tallest in the collection. The Plants: The crew is holding steady. Plant 1 and Plant 6 are showing great development, benefiting from the ongoing low-stress training and the support of the custom netting setup. It has been a productive season so far, and I’m looking forward to the next phase of development as we continue to nurture these plants to their full potential.

Flush week, straight water flush and I expect to chop and harvest this coming Sunday, maybe Saturday depending on trichomes and how dry the promix HP is. Overall I'm happy with this plants growth, she survived a heat stress issue and has developed lots of bud. While not huge buds, compared to my last grow of this strain, I'm still super pumped with this strain/plant. Updates will come after harvest and after drying for final weight total.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes .
