Hola. Once again this little f**ker just stand there doing anything. 2 others didnt ever sprout. Humidity was between 20-25% so i bought humidifier there for 10 bucks. Raised it to 50% over night. Lets hope best and see you next week.

Those first leaves really grew out. This is my first seed popped of the new year! This strain is an Attitude Seedbank and Fast Buds collaboration, it is actually called STRAWBERRY WHIP and wasnt an available strain option

Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut! For this grow, I'm using some of the seeds I won at the Summer Buds contest from last year. I kept the seeds in my fridge door during one year. It worked very well because all the seeds successfully germinated after 48h! 😎 I used 3x3 seeds. I selected 2x3 seeds with the bigger root to put them in some pots. I will let them grow a bit and then select the 3 best plants to make it until the harvest. It's the first time I grow some Fast Buds under a light and in a controlled environement, I'm really curious to see how it turns out! Zoap is growing up nice, she had a little discolored roots but still white might have been from being in the little starter pot for a few extra days too long. But she is doing good gave it a nice dusting of mycorrhizae. Till next time growmies ✌️07/17/23

We’ve reached the final week before harvest. Most of the plants are already ready for root flushing or do it. I’ll do it in batches since humidity levels are a bit tricky. I flush the roots with plain water first and then add several liters with Final Flush to see if it leaves any effect on the flavor. I’m still applying a preventive fungicide foliarly. They’ve developed some great main buds, and I’m really looking forward to trying them.

I switched auto Lavender to ph water about 3 days ago. She has started fading already. She grew great under the Mars hydro FC4800 light, with the Agrogardens nutrition. She grew too big to be honest for my space. She stuffered light burn across the canopy due to size. This is one of those times a net would of served me well. Lots of flowery smelling colas that feel dense. She is starting to fox tail from being too close to the FC4800 before I switched the light to a Medic grow mini sun 2 for summer. She has amazing roots from the Agrogardens nutrition. Final week of veg. Seems like a lot went on. As you can see, the canopy is virtual all even. The branches that were tied down 3 weeks ago were allowed to let go and reach for the light. In contrast, the taller and much stronger branches now became tied down. This took some work - these branches are thick and sturdy - pulling on them too much I am afraid will detach them from the trunk. That happened to the Gelato. It took a little bit of repositioning the wire garden ties everyday to achieve this. I'm happy to send them into flower like this. Speaking of Gelato. Her soil has been hot from the beginning. She has shown signs of high nitrogen levels and the run off from the pot is never clear. I purposely held off from feeding her nutrients bc of this, until this week. A day after feeding veg nutrients at 50% strength, there was yellow-browning and burning new growth leaf tips. This occurred for about 24 hrs on a few leaves then did not get worse. Next watering cycle will get only cal mag. Of note, the pH of any liquid going into Gelato has been consistently at 6.5. A few notes about the environmental conditions. According to VPD charts, the temperature / relative humidity ratio has not been ideal for vegetation. What would have improved the environment would have been the addition of a humidifier to reach about 60% RH at temps around 65 degrees F. Now, we are on to flower...

This week one of the plants has really began looking tropical and the smell is danker by the day. It wreaks of fruity gas in my tent. Everything is basically on cruise control from here. Two of the plants look ready for a flush while the others are a week or two behind. One of the phenos is a good bit behind and was since day one but looks like it will yield a good bit. 🍻🍻 Mid week: I spotted few amber trichomes and started flushing on two of the 5 girls. One is way behind and two are maybe a week behind. 👌💨 Ready for these beauties to finish😍

We are slowly getting closer to the harvest 😍. You can see that the lady sucks all her energy out of the leaves and passes it on to the flowers. The buds smell very tasty 😍. It should be ready to harvest in the next 17 - 25 days. But of course we will be observing this closely with the microscope from next week. Pre-flowers have appeared!! ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------- Aug 9 Found out the hard way that my ph meter needed adjusting. In fact, now that I think about it, I didn't test it when I purchased it so it may have been off slightly the entire time 😱 Was off by +0.7% Also may have thrips, but I don't see any. Perhaps the white spots on the leaves are ph related? Funny story though, within 10 minutes of having had the white spots pointed out to me, a ladybug flew into the lung room. Caught it and released it into the tent 😈 If I find her corpse within a few days, we'll know there are no thrips! Removed the two affected leaves anyway. ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------- Aug 10 Ordered nematodes and 30 ladybug larvae, just to be safe. I'm also contemplating setting up a ladybug hotel/lodge for a year round supply of predators 😈 (Hopefully) Chased out the bad ph with a new batch of feed. 6.3%ph and didn't even need PH Min!!
