It’s a nice grow so far in terms of expectations reality on the seed breeders. Great stuff again. I had a real germination nightmare this time around though - lots of strains failing at seedling so the numbers and strains became more 😂. So the tents are mixed up again to auto on one side and photoperiod on the other. In this tent as well as Afghan and a red gorilla - there is sweet zensation , banana krumble and red hot cookies and a peyote skittlez. Water in using ro solely through the grow. There has been one issue. I tried a “pro” substrate from biocanna this time and I have those little fleas. Really annoying and my aphids are late so kind of annoying - takes the pleasure off a bit. Any good organic solutions let me know please on comments

This is when I changed to spider farmer SE300. Wow this light is amazing the full spectrum light. The dimmable light adjustment is sweeet. It’s like opening a Christmas present 😂

Feb 14 Just about time to move from the cup to the 3 gallon bucket. I'll start preparing the soil in that bucket now for transplant in a couple days. Feb 15 Transplanted to a well-watered 3 gallon bucket with about 90% Ocean Forest and 10% Happy Frog. The roots will love the water I've mixed thoroughly into this soil. I'm expecting a perk-up on the leaves soon. Feb 17 Having this second light on in the tent bumped up the temps to low 80s.

APRIL 18TH 2024 - The 3rd batch of clones was taken yesterday and mother plants stripped back aggressively now that focus will be going toward the beds and clones. The generation 2 mom's are going to be vegged up and ready to produce our second harvest's set of clones. We have taken 3 batches of clones kept them in half gallon bags in each of the beds so we can pick the absolute best of each to transplant into the beds & proceed into the grow with. Day 22–23 – Pre-flower kicking in 🌸 Day 22: Watered all plants with plain Lauretana water, no nutrients, alternating with last feed. They're drinking more now, a good sign the stretch is near. Royal Jack tops are showing pistils, and the Atlas girls have a few white hairs at the nodes too. The replacement is small but growing steadily. Day 23: Topped up the pots with some fresh soil. The two Atlas are bushy and flat thanks to LST, deep green, with pistils popping at the nodes and no tip burn or yellowing. Royal Jack stays compact but healthy. The replacement now has true leaves and a nice colour. Next step: a feed once the pots feel light again, starting the transition with a lower dose of Easy Grow and a half dose of Easy Bloom. The light goes up gradually we are now at 75%. LST wires stay, but no new bends from here on. Day 25: Pre-flower is fully underway. Both Atlas girls are covered in white pistils on every top, and the LST has kept the canopy flat and even, so the stretch should start any day now. Leaves are deep green with clean tips, a sign the last feed was plenty. The Royal Jack is opening up at the top and showing its first hairs. It stays compact, but it looks healthy. The replacement is pushing out new serrated leaves and growing steadily. No watering today, since the pots still had some weight after the plain-water round and the fresh topsoil. Next up is a transition feed set for tomorrow: low Easy Grow with a half dose of Easy Bloom. LST wires stay in place, with no more bending from here on. I crease the light to 80%. I did a light defoliation. I removed a few small, shaded leaves and some tiny inner shoots from the lower part, so more air moves through and the plants put their energy into the tops Day 26: was feeding day. The girls got 0.5 g Easy Grow, 1 ml Bigger Flowers, 0.4 ml Thicker Flowers and a drop of Supervit per litre, to support them through the stretch and the start of flowering. The Mars Hydro is now at 80%, right on schedule for this week, with the LED still at 35–40 cm from the tops. They're deep in pre-flower: both Atlas are covered in white pistils and the Royal Jack is opening up at the top. The replacement keeps growing slowly but healthy, today I noticed first signs of stretch, so I'll keep an eye on the distance from the light. Plan for week 5 (from Oct 18): go to 90% and then 100%, raise the LED to 40–45 cm, and do a second light defoliation around Oct 19–20 to open the canopy for the new bud sites. Next watering is plain water.

Grow is coming along well, though the Black Devil is still lagging behind IMO. I think the strain maybe isn't too impressed with being Main-Lined? Either way she's hungry so I gave her some bokashi, clover leaf trim and worm castings. Next week is main dry amendment feeding so the girls will get everything they need. Couple more weeks and the Northern light should make it's way around the entire pot, then if it's tall enough, I'm putting them into flower. Some weird shit on the microscope today; videos above.

Nothing new to report. Been adjusting the trellis to just slow the stretch a little. Each plant got a half gallon on day 7.

Easy grow for the most part. This strain had a very tropical/gassy smell to it.

This was the final week. I had no choice to harvest early because pm was starting to settle on a lot of stuff in my garden. The UV light worked for like a day or two and it came back. It's just not worth it. It turned a lot of the buds hairs brown and the leaves did suffer a little damage. Part of that was the peroxide solution. I mixed a little too strong, and it didn't seem like it hurt the plants, but after a few days, they showed the damage. It just seem to burn the leaves a little not really the bud so that's good. There was three days of rain coming, so I wanted to get it cut down.I didn't intend on harvesting so early, and I have no place to dry this because other plants drying so I was forced into freezing it. I cut down branches and wet trimmed it into a bin and ran to the freezer every 10 minutes to get it frozen right away. I maybe could've dried it and had some decent flower but I figured this would be a good opportunity to learn about making bubble hash. I decided I wanted a stainless steel mixing vessel and found this beer brewer for a good price. I think it's gonna be solid. It has a nice drain at the bottom. Then I bought some 5 gallon buckets for spacers for my 5 gallon bubble bags I use the heat gun to peel the stickers off and to heat the bottoms up to make it a little easier to cut them out with the utility knife. I used the heat gun again to soften the edges a little bit so I don't damage my bags. I can't do my washes until I'm done trimming my flowers, but I got a 2 Inkbird temperature controllers to bring my studio down to bubble hash temperatures with my ac unit. I could wait a little longer until it gets colder but I'm not sure how cold it's really gonna get and I wanna get this done soon as I can. I'm gonna have to try it without a freeze dryer so that should be fun and I'm not going to micro plane it at all costs. I got 25 µm screens for drying that I will use a towel to wear most of the moisture out then see if it on to some parchment and I should be able to get my studio really cold and dry to get it dried relatively quickly. I'm seeing it recommended to be 30 to 40% humidity and 50° or so for about a week and it should be dry enough to press some rosin. I'm gonna try to separate out the full melt hash, but honestly I think I'm just gonna get a wide spectrum pool on this hash and just press it into rosin to make it easier to deal with. I kind of was trying to find the cheapest bags it's still decent and wasn't paying attention when I bought it really cause there's no 45 µm and my set and I'm saying that to be the lowest recommended the pool but also seeing a lot of people pulling some nice 25 µm so I think with my early harvest I might have some smaller truck head so I might not be a bad thing to have that bag as my lowest. I'm going to catch everything under 160 to 25.

Mar 24: Watering till runoff now... runoff ppm was 2500+... Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input. Mar 26: Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff... Runoff ppm is still very high... I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe. Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop. One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites, One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk, One is about in the middle of the 2. Mar 29: one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar... gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...

Mandarin XL auto is doing good. I had to give tge solution a nutrition boost early week. It just was not strong enough for her. She is doing good. She is ready for a solution change very soon. I was hoping she would start transitioning first to go to blooming nutrition. Everything is looking good beside that nutrition problem. Day 92.. Removed some more yellow leaves.. Just the ones that pretty much just fell off with slight tug.. I figure if it comes off that easily its probably not doing much else good and is gonna fall off soon anyway.. But still left some yellows that were still on pretty tight. The pics of the trichomes don't do much justice in my opinion. Its a 60x and I zoom all the way in with my phone camera.. I can spot a couple amber.. Not many but a couple.. I'm thinking another 2 weeks and there should be AT LEAST 5% amber.. If a little more than 5%,that's fine with me also.. The older calyxes are beginning to purple.. From the tips growing towards the base of each calyx.. The couple of amber trichomes I can find are in the purple parts of the calyxes. It seems almost like the calyxes that have white pistils are foxtails.. I could be wrong.. Its not alot but they are newer calyxes it seems.. I try not to check those trichomes cuz they arent even cloudy yet.. Anybody got their 2 cents on that??.... Day 93.. Happy 4/20/2020 you guys! I should have started this from the beginning.. But I'm going to start flushing with distilled water pH'ed to 6.1 - 6.3.. I already have some declorinizated (lol jk) (declorinated) tap water waiting to be pH'ed and used.. Not that disposing it wouldn't be losing out on much of anything. So, probably about the middle of this week, I should start using the distilled water.. Trying to get the runoff TDS as low as possible.. For AT LEAST a good 7 days.. The fan leaves are pretty much all sucked dry of their nutrients as far as I can tell.. The warmth has been causing the dying leaves to curl upward.. As they die.. Which I'm not too worried about.. The terpenes are still there.. Such a fun experience.. I'm thinking of using a few 32 OZ cups are start 2 Fast Buds Blackberry Autos and 2 Fast Buds Purple Lemonade Autos.. Make sure I get some purple buds this next time.. Like a little SOG 32 OZ cup thing goin on.. Just a thought.. Haven't got it all figured out yet.. Ive got 100's of seeds being safely stored in my refrigerator and ready to blossom into gorgeous lovely ladies! **just a stoned post today.. Lol... Happy 420!*** Day 94.. Just another flush day.. Gonna just use some tap water 6.2 pH and the TDS already reads 230-240 PPM.. But in another 2 days I should have started on the distilled water (0-10 PPM) also pH'd between 6.1 and 6.3 pH. 95 % of the stems, including the main stalk, are red.. It's pretty cool looking. The pics barely do any justice. The smells are intensifying, as well.. One gorgeous plant... Day 95.. Just such a GLORIOUS girl is all I can say.. The fan leaves have faded into red.. The stems turned red as fuck.. The calyxes are beginning to turn purple. I've got like 7 or 8 more of these seeds.. I can't wait to see the other phenotypes!!! Day 96!!! Damn this is taking for-fucking-ever.. Wtf.. Well I have noticed a few more amber trichomes! Finally!!! I can only spot some amber at the very top of each main cola. The bottom of each cola is still showing some clear/cloudy.. Lower branches still look a little clear/cloudy.. Hopefully, my timing is just right! So, so freaking gorgeous!!!.. She smells a bit musty.. Not like a bad rotten smell or anything.. But like a certain type of skunkish smell lol.. Not sure how else to try and explain it lol. I'm sure it will change during and after drying and curing.. Of course. But as of right now.. The smell is a little off to me.. Strong.. But not your typical cannabis sativa indica type smells. Still so in LoVe with this lady! Day 98.. Damn almost 100 days from seed.. Trichomes are gettin there.. There are alot of cloudy.. For sure some more amber since last week.. I think 1 more week would be perfect. Got colas floppin over lol.. I love that issue tho.. Still smells wretched lol.. But dank.. I stopped pH'ing the water because I am just using distilled water now. When I add 1 drop of pH down it takes it down to 5.2 or some super acidic number.. That's crazy.. I think it has something to do with distilled water not containing any ions in the water.. Some shit I read on the manual I that came with my Apera pH meter.. So I might use tap water that was ran thru a Britta Water filter next time.It brings my tap water from 230-240 PPM down to 160 PPM when ran thru this filter.. Plus my bottles are left with bubbles like tap water normally will leave.. And the filter brings the tap water down from like 7.7pH down to about 6.5 - 6.7 pH.. These little filters are kinda cool.. Now just hoping that they last.. I wish I had an RO filter but I dont and its almost impossible for me to get and use one here.. But this works fine for me. One thing I noticed tho.. Our city does NOT use chlorine... And they dont tell us what they use.. But it says on our yearly water testing records that they use a "non-chlorine sanitizer" whatever the fuck that is.. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system.
