Still no definite preflower. Getting impatient.

In week 10 all remaining plants developed well, they have a healthy green color and grow copious amounts of new flowers every day. The trichome production has been going strong as well, therefore the plants start to smell stronger than before. The BLUE-MINT plant from Mountain High Seeds is going strong... she grows so many trichomes it has started to build so called RESIN RAILS on the fan-leaves...so AWESOME to see! 😍 The tallest plant is the Strawberry Sour-Diesel from OriginalDevilHarvest-Seeds. Even after being supper-cropped she grows taller every day! She also developes FAT and DANK buds on all branches with a HUGE AMOUNT of trichomes. The smell of this plant is VERY LEMONY, its so fruity and mouthwatering, I cant wait for her to be finished. The Serious Happiness from Serious Seeds does well, she also has big buds with lots of trichomes. The SNEEZE from Cnnbs.nl and Seedstockers is doing GREAT! She has a tremendous amount of trichomes on her buds, and has fat colas on all sidebranches. The nutrients from BIO NOVA work VERY WELL...all plants are doing GREAT. At this stage of flowering the SANlight EVO4-120 LEDs are dimmed to 100% and hang at 30 cm distance of the top of the plants. My genetic treasures LOVE the intensity and spectrum of those LEDs as you can see in the pics. Unfortunately I spot some traces on my leaves and discover some THRIPS on the backside of my fan-leaves. This insects eat away on the plant-sap and can decrease your harvest, if the infestation gets too much. Therefore I immediately order some bags with predator insects against THRPS from KOPPERT and hang them on each plant. These predators are the natural enemies and will eat the THRIPS from my plants.

Man I can not wait til she finishes drying and curing she smells amazing I will be trying to reveg her so I can hopefully try my hand at her again this time in a huge pot she definitely deserves it

12/16-12/22, days 49 to 55) Hope everyone enjoys the pictures. I will try to add a video and black back or cover pics by end of week every week. Week 6 Notes & Observations: P1 is showing signs of issues. Not sure if it’s from the drying out (boron deficit) or from the mites. Wither way hopefully I am covering the situation by both feeding and treating against the mites with spinosad. P2 however is showing a better recovery from the break and seems to be on tack with new growth and training. With all 8 colas now set I just train to finish veg around new year’s day. The next two weeks will just be set up for that ***Update*** P2 lost a cola in training apparently. Upon check up today I noticed that all of the colas were aiming up except for one on the 'good' side, then I noticed that was because it had snapped in training or in the next day turn towards the light... learning a lot with this plant... VPD and PPFD: This week I will hold the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 70- 75F daytime and 66-71F overnight. Im adjusting my lights and look to control them at ~500ppfd max. Meaning slight increase over last week but mostly just growth increase but will also place on higher supports to increase PPFD to desired levels. Feed & Monitor: ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix" concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5.*** Day 49 (last feed was day 44) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, this time P1 weighed 12lbs 7oz. and P2 weighed 13lbs 3oz before feed (both plants weighed 11lbs 2oz before last feed). Each plant got 1.33 gallons of purified water with 9:1 ratio of Veg/Bloom Mix concentrates - 356ppm Veg Mix (recipe on week 2) and 44ppm Bloom Mix (recipe on week 5) with 1.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) . The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.3ph. After feed this time, P1 weighed 20lbs 5oz and P2 also weighed 20lbs 5oz (both weighed 19lbs 2oz after last feed). I got about 6 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 this time (both plants gave up 8 cups of runoff last feed). Runoff for P1 ph was 6.4 with 758ppm (6.3 with 906ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.45 with 729ppm (6.4 with 814ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.34,6.31,6.35,6.33 for an avg of 6.33 (6.24 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.34,6.32,6.35,6.30 avg 6.33 (6.37avg after last feed) - next feed will be 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated water and 6.3ph as Im liking where the ph is now and I dont see any issues from feed or training. Day 55 (last feed was day 49) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, this time P1 weighed 12lbs 10oz. (12lbs 7oz before last feed) and P2 weighed 11lbs 8oz before feed (13lbs oz before last feed). Each plant got 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated water with 9:1 ratio of Veg/Bloom Mix concentrates - 355ppm Veg Mix (recipe on week 2) and 64ppm Bloom Mix (recipe on week 5) with 1.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) . The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.25ph. After feed this time, P1 weighed 20lbs 9oz and P2 also weighed 20lbs 9oz (both weighed 20lbs 5oz after last feed). I got ~8 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 this time (6 cups of runoff on P1 and 8 cups on P2 after last feed). Runoff for P1 ph was 6.36 with 1110ppm (6.4 with 758ppm last feed) and P2 was 6.35 with 1170ppm (6.45 with 729ppm last feed). Top soil tested at: P1 6.22,6.17,6.21,6.26 for an avg of 6.215 (6.33 avg after last feed) and P2 tested at 6.19,6.17,6.16,6.12 avg 6.16 (6.33avg after last feed) - next feed will be 1.5 gallons of de-chlorinated water and 6.5ph as I rather see top soil higher after a feed and almost match the runoff - I dont see any issues from feed or training.

Last week

Starting week 6 off with a watering of 2,5L, still only grow, bit of rootjuice to fade it out, and activera. No Calmag and a lower dose of microbes - though the Afghan Kush shows signs of a very early calmag def, so ill add some next time again to be on the safe side. Also, Flowering is underway!!! Will introduce flower ferts for the next watering with both. Also, watering both at different days now - the blueberry drinks way more than the afghan. Today on 22/12 was the last training and HEAVY defoliation session for the blueberry - she was growing reeeeal bushy and has tight internodial spaces. Getting her ready nice and sexy for her flowering look! The afghan kush not so much, i sparingly LSTd her but she is growing just "how i like her". Not much training needed in my eyes. The blueberry had overlapping leaves and flower stems. Also changed the light cycle back to 18/6 on 25/12 watered both with 2,5L, phased out rootjuice for good, added flowering ferts and 0,5ml/L of calmag. i have to ramp up the dose to 0,8 or even 1ml/L next time, since both are showing deficencies of what i would attribute to calmag. Grow rate is good, buds are really starting to form. See you next week!

I can never talk bad on auto flowers. I did not pay much attention to these girls and it shows but the genetics from FASTBUDS were so good that the quality of the buds was still A1. I bought more FASTBUDS seeds and will grow them in my new setup and hopefully I can maximize the yields this time around.

Plant is doin ok I noticed she's a little bit smaller than other phenotypes, but soon she will grow like a monster as she prepares for flowering stage, so I decided to start LST. As you can imagin guys, is my first LST and you may guess what happened 😢 Yes I broke a branch (with little sprouds) , Will I have serious consequences at harvesting? ****I confess i smoked the broken branch and the leaves (haven't smoke in months!) Man, now I can see this will be some trippy sh^t****

Hello, fin de 3eme semaine de croissance, pour le moment tout semble aller correctement. Pas de signe de carences, enfin je pense. Les plantes on doublées en taille cette semaine. J’essaye aussi d’optimiser mon système d’irrigation. Pour exploiter les avantages de la coco au maximum. J’hésite encore entre 4 et 2 arrosages jours, si vous avez des suggestions, j’écoute.🙏😉 J’ai changé de lampe, j’utilise maintenant des LED de chez OPTIC LED, 2x54w en 5000k, spectre special croissance, je trouve le résultat plutôt bon en comparaison de mon ancienne lampe. Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. 3/11/2023 Week 4- Day 1 of Veg (Day 38 overall)| As a precaution I changed out the water in the system today at the 1 week mark to try and make sure I am giving the most to the roots to ensure a healthy successful grow. I will bump it up to 400 on Week 5. PPFD = 351 Tent Conditions when I opened the tent I was at 59% humidity however I had the doors open for an hour while I changed the water out and re-mixed Nutes so it was at 48 when I closed the doors but I have a Firebird controller which is set for 60 to bring it back up. Water Temp on Change out = 69.4 PPM= 514 PH= 5.93 3/12/2023 Week 4- Day 2 of Veg (Day 39 overall) Everything is going good so I decided to de-foliate some. 3/13/2023 Week 4- Day 3 of Veg (Day 40 overall) Humidity at 61% Tent Temp at 78 Water Temp at 75.3 PPM=574 PH 5.89 Happy, Happy... I topped 2 nodes on Plant #3 and 1 Node on Plant #2. Everything looks dialed in (Finally). I defoliated a little bit today and took a couple tops off each. 3/15/2023 Week 4- Day 5 of Veg (Day 42 overall) Nothing to much to report. Nuestras power plant xL se han comportado fenómeno , recordamos que metimos 9 plantas de 3 variedades distintas y esta es la única variedad que perdimos espacio del indoor. Aun así sin palabras en cuanto al resultado. Planta con floración muy rápida, bastante vigorosa, lo malo es que al final tendrás que tutorar si o si, pero es por el peso de la flor. 56/59 días para cortar en floración, (y es Sativa).Se supone que tira 20%thc y su genética es South African sativa.

RSV11 is growing great. The pest have been eliminated as far as I can tell. I defoliated her top side to open her up more. I will be switching to flowering in a week. She should be hitting maturity at any moment now. the cycle has come to an end, the plants have been harvested and are being cured. the mother yielded 421 grams of dry flowers the clones yielded 303 grams of dry flowers. the variety changed its smell during curing, it became even more pleasant, the smell of garlic is not felt, fruit spices, very complex. the variety is generally very strong, not suitable for beginners and for daily smoking. I am very glad that such a rich harvest came out.
