As soon as I received these seeds I dropped them in a bowl of water @10am on April 30th. Planted directly into soil 7pm at sundown on the 30th. I wet the soil because it was dry. I prefer moist but settled for wet. The temperature was warm enough for germination week. The evenings were still lower 60's F, but the days warmed up above 70 °F. Night 1 it was dry with low 60's F Day 1 we had good sunshine and low 70's F. Day 2 We received a heavy rain in the afternoon and intermittently that night into the morning of the 3rd day (May 3) Our temps cooled off with the rain and we didn't get above 72° F. It was a little wetter than I prefer, but our soil drained well and fastbuds genetics can handle the less than perfect condition. Two popped on May 3rd (day 3) and the last popped on May 4th (day 4). The above listed nutrients were premixed into the soil at the listed rates per gallon of soil.

New week, new growth. So we have done another defoliation to allow the lower shoots to be exposed to the lights which equal to a better yield come flower time, they always need a day or 2 recover after being put under any stress, especially if its an extreme amount of leaves being taken off. They were also lollipoped to clear up and messy under growth and to improve airflow under the canopy. I also took clones from each of these. Paying close attention to the EC and pH. Increasing and decreasing as and when I need to going off what the plants show me. Close to flower now. A few days to go! The papaya pancakes tester is looking good! I topped three days ago and have been watering regularly with a single feed since last update. I added in some canopy side lighting that has some red spectrum diodes as I am not happy that the light in this tent is so far into the blue spectrum. The girls a trucking along nicely and I'll flip to flower by next update!

I’ve kept almost all the fertilizer, light, and environmental parameters the same. I did a good defoliation to improve airflow, since I was having a bit of trouble lowering the humidity. This also helps the light penetrate better through the buds, allowing them to develop more fully.
