I am trying to keep the environment as close as possible to 60F / 60% RH, but with the current temperatures, I will be lucky to keep it around 65. I am looking forward to the terpines are thick, like rotting citrus, strong orange smells, with a sweet fruity finish, I bet these flowers are going to smile well, and the flowers are sticky very gressey, bet the smoke will be intense!

Bushy little mama. Removed the tobacco plants as they were taking over the tent. She is on her lonesome now so she can make full use of the space available. Looking like she needs some defoliation pretty soon. 3/10 Gave her a radical defoliation. Took away about 85% of all the larger fan leaves and some lower canopy growth. I want all the plants energy to go into flowering and developing large kolas. Don't expect the auto clone to get much bigger, so won't be potting up, but she may produce a decent kola.

Week 2 of veg and the plants are looking healthy and growing. It took the plants a good few days to get over the transplant shock. I understand now why you don't transplant auto-flowering plants. Day 13 of Veg: The plants are looking healthy and producing new growth.

A Note From (BAM): "This week was a battle with the environment. The plants grew like crazy, but the controller tried to sabotage us every single night. I learned more about VPD, airflow, and the limits of automation than I ever wanted to. But by the end of the week, the plants were wider, the roots were thicker, and I was in control — not the controller." --- Day 8–9: LST & Light Upgrade The FIM sites had fully healed, so I started Low Stress Training (LST) — pinning branches outward with clips to create a flat canopy. I also added the second Sanlight EVO 4-120, angling both lights inward at 40 cm. The plants responded immediately with faster growth and wider leaves. --- Day 10–11: The Fan Controller Nightmare The AC Infinity Controller 69 Pro showed a fatal flaw: every night, when VPD fell below the trigger point, it sent an OFF command to the fan — even with Minimum Speed set to 1. The tent would spike to 80% humidity and 29°C. I tried everything: lower triggers, higher minimums, different modes. Nothing fixed it. The controller simply ignores the Minimum Speed setting when it decides to turn off. The workaround: I have filed a warranty claim with AC Infinity. In the meantime, I am running the fan on a fixed manual speed to ensure continuous airflow. --- Day 12–13: Nutrient Stability & Canopy Width PPM was drifting too low (440–480), so I learned to make a concentrate (2g A + 2g B in 1L RO water) for daily top-ups. A cinch to grow and really had no problems at all. It’s my first time trying anything from Mephisto Genetics and I’m very impressed. Gave nothing but filtered water after applying the 5 tbsp of grow dots at the beginning of veg. Went into flower pretty early but still grew to a nice size with a beautiful cola and had some great trichome production. Would definitely run it again!

Despite a slight salt buildup, Scrooge is thriving. After measuring the drainage, it showed 1200ppm, so I'll be flushing it out. Increased the feed to around 1000ppm to ensure it gets the nutrients it needs. Let's keep those vibes positive! 🌿🌟
