Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Day 14 time for transplantation 🤗 first time with auto, but F1 should be resistant💪

Pandemic “Third Wave” hit. Looking forward to share my Next attempt. 🐈🐟🌱Aquaponic Grow🐟🌱🐈 #Germination 🗓️19 Jul 2021 Germination was simple. Just added some seeds in plant cups. Tank setup is as follow: Tank 40 liter Air Pump 2.5w SHANDA SD-900 Mini Aquarium Water Pump Small 2 Air Stone Grow medium mostly consist of small sea shells and rocks washed and packed. Fish: Gold Fish named Ed, Edd, Eddie After the wash of the grow media and Tank water fill I let the system run for a week. This allows the water condition to stabilize. Used spring water. The fish were placed in tank still in bag for water temp reasons. Opened the bang and kept the fish in tank for a week before planting seeds. Micro Bacteria to form in grow medium. Will be adding a Root Conditioner soon. Helloing 👋🏻 friends and visitors Monday was cloudy and light showers over night into Tuesday till noon She spent most of Tuesday inside, the aroma 😋 Wednesday till today Friday blue sky barely a breeze typical autumn day and the forecast fingers crossed 🤞🏻 it will stay that way for the next 2 weeks... that!! I'll believe it when I see it 😂 Anyhoo she's doing well, her buds are getting bigger by the week, the sugar leaves are getting bushier, some pistils are getting darker at the tips. Fed her Monday and Thursday 4 litres of water with 2.8 grams of Monster Flower and 2.8 grams of Monster K, Along with 10 ml of Big Bud for good measures😅😄 And fed her water only today, about 3 litres give or take.. Day 66 : Her buds are full of crystals and are so dense. The smell is really strong stinky skunk like GZ , but GZ smell is more acidic. Her crystals are milky and soon will start to amber. Breeder refers that will be pretty mature in 70 days. Not in my case :D we will see in 4 days, in next watering. For now no ambers. I prefer to cut when we have 15%-20% amber and 80%-85% milky, because after the smoke is very heavy for my taste. Edit Day 70 : She watered with juices and i continue until i see first signs of amber trichomes. Still no ambers. She has gained so much weight , side branches cant lift their self. I think she will be the heavier. You can understand her weight if u lift it.

These girls are 7 weeks old and younger. It is my first grow larger than one plant and I'm super excited these girls look so good.

This week going good ,nothing going wrong. I just have to control the humidity. The RH% has been below 60-70% for vegetative. And right now I am using 3 humidifiers to ⬆️ that. And it’s dry out here and weather is bipolar . Good thing I am growing indoors :)

------GENERAL COMMENT------ Flush time, within the end of this week is now flush time. To summary this week i just kept on my feeding habits, Water with base > Water with boosters, alternating Recharge. My led seams to be crashing a bit, the colors are not stable as is possible to see in the timelapse. Trichomes are mostly cloudy, with a slight amber. 9 weeks flowering time will be exact, just need time to flush, they are maturing fast fast, hairs are getting orange in a blink. ------GG.AK47 COMMENT------ Compared to the Blueberry the nugs are thinner, still nice size, a bit less dense, thru the stems there are many popcorn buds, that is also due to the less removal on this girl to test. Loaded with colas and the scent is very sugary too, a bit stronger than the BB, and the hairs are turning orange faster, starting to look very mature. Defoliated a bit to avoid rot, will defoliate more for this reason.

Purple Lemonade , Gelato 1&2, LAK 2&3 are all just about done theyll be coming down over the weekend or early next week. T26, Pineapple Express, Mexican Airlines, LAK 1, 6 Shooter Blue Dreamatic and Cream Cookies are all on the flush but will need a few more before chop. This tent reeks up the whole block it's pretty intense skunk in the driveway right now. There will be one more update I'm guessing for most of these before the harvest update. This was the most successful autoflower crop I've had in a long time I think theres some really good quality buds on some of these. Was gone for 4 days and Wholly cow has she stretched and grown! Update: did some defoliation, the roots were going into the gravity fed system so I trimmed the roots coming out of the bottom and elevated the pot for 4 hours to air prune the rest. Cut down one plant so she got to stretch out more!
