First week of my first grow! The weeks leading to this were filled with hours of research from every source I could find. I still wake up and start reading or looking at diaries. I’m growing in a 4x4 tent in an insulated but not heated garage. I have a small heater in the tent connected to an Inkbird temp controller set to kick on at 70 degrees and turn off at 80. This sucks a lot of humidity from the tent. I have 2 humidifiers running to combat this and it stays around 45% RH on average; getting higher than that has proved quite the challenge. I’ve admired quite a few diaries on here and I hope everyone enjoys my rookie season.

05/06/2021 All is progressing nicely and I want to see how lowering blue spectrum to only 1/4 on just enough for fan to kick on, and leave red at 100% Last picture is the 2 cuttings looking healthy.

All from fridge 24 hr shot glass ro and h2o2. All popped. Substrate is coco amended with dr. Earth and other goodies. Was wet and set in tent 48hrs. Letting these grow into the wet coco until the top is dry. Lights are 300 par about which is max for babies i think...

Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Black Muffin F1 de Sweetseeds. Esta variedad me resultó bastante sencilla de cultivary es bastante resistente, si no la maltratáis crece mucho y bien sana, la flor se ve increíble, tiene una cantidad de resina considerable y unos tonos rojos oscuros muy peculiares, se ven genial. El olor que desprende es bastante frutal con toques cítricos, no pinta nada mal, las flores están prietas. No da mayores problemas, el ciclo no es largo, cuiden con la altura ya que se desmadran un poco. IMPORTANTE destacar: En las fotos comprobaréis que ya no hay botes de cristal con sobres de bóveda, ahora hay Grovebags. Que son una especie de sobres o bolsas que retienen el peso, previene la aparición de moho y mantiene intacto el terpeno, para que el curado sea más óptimo. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Tangie'matic showed me that she was in it for the long haul right from the start. This was my first time topping an autoflower and I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out - but each time she took on stress, she pushed back even stronger. I topped her once at the 5th node, and then used some low stress training to create this beautiful canopy. She really grew like a dream! Partway through flower I had to move my grow tent from my second-floor bedroom to my not quite warm enough basement. I had assumed that the heat from the grow lights would have compensated, but it didn't take me long to realize how wrong I was. This poor plant had her reservoir and atmospheric temperatures dropped with no warning. She held in there while I figured out how to get the environment closer to desirable and less feeling like a frozen tundra. In the mish mash of environmental flux, some of her buds began to foxtail. This was my first time seeing this happen; so despite the fact that it's not desirable, seeing foxtailing happen with my own buds for the first time was actually kind of cool. After the environmental woes were corrected, she stacked even more. Her buds nice and dense with a citrus fragrance complimented by some subtle skunky undertones. Before harvest I changed out her reservoir and gave her a 4 day flush along with 48 hours of darkness. When I opened the tent on harvest day I was punched in the face with a beautiful fragrance of mandarin that instantly lifted the corners of my mouth into a sweet smile of satisfaction. I cut her down and hung her to dry in my climate controlled closet holding a perfect 69.8°F and 55% RH. Six days later her buds were ready for the jars. Her dry buds gave me 8.8oz/250g of quality bud and an additional 2.9oz/82g of popcorn buds. Just being in jars for 24 hours has REALLY brought out even a stronger citrus aroma that is just a true pleasure to take in. Will update with more after the cure and first smoke experience. ✌️💜🌱0000

06/06 - As we get closer to harvest the prep work will begin by the end of this coming week - I will give them 1 maybe 2 more nutrient feeds then switch to clean water with Carbo flush to remove the salt build up in the clones - I have dropped the light intensity to about 25% to allow for the trichomes and terps to set under ideally conditions. They will also get the bigger leaves defoliated little by little as we approach harvest.. 😎😎😎😎 06/07 - The babies are coming along perfectly without any issues - Since increasing the Cane Molasse dosage for their feeds trichome development has increased tremendously - Dropped the light intensity by 25% - maintaining low temps and average humidity through out harvest - She will receive 1 maybe 2 more nute feeds before flushing with clean water - The cold water treatment seems to be working with positive results in terps and trichomes. 06/10 - As we near harvest I will only be applying one maybe 2 more nute feeds and that will be it - Clean water feeds after that for about a week then chopping down - The last 2 feeds will consist of heavy silica for nutrient absorption and Cane molasses for terp setting and trichome build up - currently the nuggs are dense and rich in resin - I will be trimming in 3 stages ( 1 wet trim prior to cut down and 2 after harvest both dry ). Algae is an asshole. Thought things were going really well... and then found a bit of algae in the rockwool.... No biggie I figure. Wrong. Left it one night, and today (Sunday) open the jar to find algae in all the roots. Not cool. Well, I needed to swap the nutrients anyway, and was going to do a major bonsai pruning... so why not also wash everything, plant included, in mild hydrogen peroxide solution? Sure, THAT's fun. Made the decision to swap Hydroguard for H2O2 as well, since the water is room temp (21-22 C) and the H2O2 supposedly helps prevent algae.... and keeps away root rot even in higher solution temperatures. Oh, and H2O2 is also seemingly a buffer... making getting the pH right in that small jar strange - needed WAY more pH down than without the hydrogen peroxide. Fingers crossed that the major life disturbances will help manage the algae and not just put the nails in the coffin.

Week 14: Final Countdown (Flower Week 9) 🍌🥊 We’ve reached the final ripening! This Banana Purple Punch Auto by @FastBuds is finishing its 14th week from seed and its 9th week in full bloom. At this stage, it's no longer about volume; it’s all about ripening, resin density, and terpene complexity. 💎 Living Soil Performance: Following the 9 Cardinal Parameters, my focus is currently on: • VPD & Humidity: Keeping humidity low (around 40-45%) to drive transpiration and protect these dense, frosty buds from any late-stage issues. 🌬️ • Temperature: Dropping the night temps to 18–19°C to encourage those deep purple hues. The anthocyanins are really putting on a show! 💜 • Nutrients: No flush needed! In a true Living Soil setup, the plant naturally senesces as the soil microbiome slows down nitrogen availability while still providing essential minerals for trichome maturation. The "autumn fade" is looking beautiful. 🍂 Trichome Status: 🔬 Observation shows about 85% still not ready and 10–15% milky. I’m looking for that perfect "sweet spot" to capture the full sedative punch and overripe banana flavor. 🍌 It’s been an incredible journey with this organic ecosystem. still growing fast as fuck. i was falling more and more in love with her as time passed. she was showing signs of hunger so i gave her, her first feed of veg nutes on december 5th 2021. I mixed 1/2 tsp to each gallon. I used a bucket with 3 gallons of dechlorinated tap water. Decmber 8th: same amount of veg to gallons of water with the same 1/2 tsp. phd to 6.4. December 10th gave her a feed honestly dont know how much. id say about 10-20 cups worth of dechlorinated tap water with 1/2 tsp of veg nutes to 3 gallons.
