As an experiment I have only been removing the newly formed branches at her nodes and leaving the fan leaves alone. Seems to have an effect on branches being healthier! *** watered her last night with 1 tbsp each of coco bloom A&B. ***Day 38*** All is good with Miss Mulberry. This wedding cake is looking as healthy as her sister however she's in a bigger pot 25 liters. Let's see if she does as good as her sister,she's enjoying life right I don't think I'll have any type of issue,she's being fed 100% organically,with lactobacillus liquid made by me,liquid bat guano,and she has in her soil florians living organics and more bat guano and seaweed,mycorrizae,humic and fulvic acids,beneficial bacteria and fungus. The dance of the buds stretching around the colas has come to a natural pause, ushering us into the swelling stage. Each day, we're greeted by buds that are increasingly plump, a clear indication that they're on the right track. As they swell, our plant is starting to exude a sophisticated sweet lemon aroma that fills the air and promises a sensory delight. It's a fragrance that speaks to the complexity of her development and the nuanced profile we can anticipate. Notably, some leaves in the lower canopy are beginning to wilt, a process I view as normal age-related defoliation. It's a natural part of the lifecycle, as the plant focuses her energy on the swelling buds. In our efforts to optimize her environment, the GCX 9 lighting is now set to 100% flower spectrum and 75% veg spectrum. I'm carefully pushing the limits to provide maximum light without imposing stress or damage to our plant. This stage requires a delicate balance, pushing for maximum growth while maintaining the health and well-being of the plant. Hopefully by doing this now TF will catch up but that's not why I topped her. She's known for being bushy; so will be good to bring her up to her second level before branching. Giving the rate she is growing; we haven't to worry about stunting Growth. H202 is also know to to cause mutations at high levels. I tried to start this diary with HP 12% from seed and it worked until micro-organisms in the air and water; what distillation has missed the "vocs" the cardon didn't catch. Caused them to later on because of free radicals and this is why high levels of HP can cause mutations and cancer when it steals atoms by ripping them apart. My permanent marker plants are looking really interesting! The short and stocky one with the purple leaves is super vibrant. I love that pop of color against the green of the other plants. It's a little different from the taller plant, which has this really cool stacked-up look to it. I'm curious to see if those stacked-up leaves will change color too. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

One of the girls had some issues, but it was just too much heat. Adjustments were made and now all is good. one more week on veg. happy grow.

Well 84 days later ...in Flower its was finally time to Harvest . I sure had my challenges as a beginner and learned a lot by my mistakes and learning about fixing issues and keeping the environment Consistent . I did turn my 600HPS down to 400 as i was my plants were getting light burn and heat burn ..... lets just say i was learning all the way throw . it was exciting being my very first time . I started flowering too late late and they stretched and stretched ... i dont have much space ....lesson learned . I had to train them to grow sideways which did help significantly as did the lower my light to 400 watts ..my space is a square Meter and low ...... it was crazy but I really enjoyed it and there hanging ..... Personally I thought id end up killin them ...lol Thanks for the advice and comments they were greatly appreciated ... Happy growing .... Hope my next ones are Prettier ,,,,LOL Cheers

On day 169 I did the final flush on both ladies. I went through about 6 gallons per lady. The final runoff measured at around 400 PPM. Right around where I wanted to be. In my previous grows I did not flush as thoroughly, I'll see if I can even tell any difference and if it's worth it. I started the 48 hour period of darkness of day 171 (flower for 72 days). I chopped and hung the buds on day 173. I expect it to take about 7 days for the stems to start snapping when bent. Wanda weighed in at 659 grams on harvest day with stems and leaves. Wilma weighed in at 731 grams on harvest day with stems and leaves. I am estimating I'll end up harvesting and jarring over 15% of the bud wet weight. So around 200 grams. I ended up trimming all the large fan leaves before I hung the flowers to dry. My hands got very sticky while just handling the stems and cutting leaves. Will update once the buds are dry and I've tried some of the bud. Can't wait!
