Gorilla Glue has been growing good. I think I been fighting manganese deficiency. I will try to correct it. My micro is super rich in nitrogen is issue I face bumping it up. I will give it a try. * ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. This one's been a breeze... The wife's following the book word for word and the plant is doing what I was sowed to do... Just a little cal mag in the pH 6 water and she's living her best life. More and more pistils are popping and the bud sites are all stretching to even out the canopy. Good genetics and proper care... Can't wait to see what the effects of this lady are as the stem rub has a skunk and earthy smell that just gives you an old skool vibe. I expect her to really start to stack up this week and then begin swelling those calyxes through to the end!

Total Days: 63 Flower Nights: 20 Some consistent development across the canopy. The last Zoap (back-left corner) is the slowest of the bunch but not more than 3-5 days behind the most developed plant. This bodes well as far as not having too large of a harvest window from fastest to slowest development. Trichome development is visible on a few of the plants. This is usually a good sign when you can see them before end of 3rd week, but doesn't necessarily mean any of the others are lacking. Still plenty of time and I expect them all to have a nice dense coating by the end. Garlic Storm^2 is stretching like crazy, as expected. The first zoap pictured is also a lanky girl but a couple inches shorter than GS^2. The rest of theh canopy is roughly the same stature. Going to allow those 2 plants to remain closer unless I see some damage to pistils. The 2nd to last Zoap has some awesome node spacing and warranted a couple extra pictures. I pruned off lower, weak axilla on FD14 - 1 day after last update. Feeling good about my choices as well as timing. Should result in an easier trim and maintain grams per square foot production. I never tried to refine this in a systematic way, but I am putting in the effort the last two grow cycles to remedy that. Some plants retained a bit more lower growth just so I can compare the results and make better choices in future grows. Mostly done training the plants. Colas are well-spaced. Wih another week of strong growth coming and then tailing off, the remaining gaps in canopy should fill completely. Effectively reduced necessary pruning and wasted growth/resources/time with good timing flipping to flower phase. A couple plants could be spread out slightly more. I'll tug those branches outward from center with some garden wire this week. Nitrogen ppm reduced to 99 - a little under 25% drop in total from vege formula. There was an intermediary step down on last reservoir refill, too. While some concentration levels shifted a bit, most stayed consistent to what was provided in vegetative phase, unlike nitrogen levels. Rounded to nearest integer: N 99 P 67 K171 Ca 91 Mg 76 S 101 So far avoiding the extra lushness that often creeps in mid-to-late flower in my typical grow cycle. Will know more about these adjustment over the next 2-3 weeks. It's been a slow work in progress the last few cycles. Splitting hairs at this point in regard to formula adjustments, but slightly healthier plants can't hurt, right? Phosphorous levels are higher than I prefer, but it is a necessary evil to maintain Ca levels, that I prefer were more than 10% higher as is. The canopy is finally providing enough moisture on its own. Dehumidifier is now turned on and avoiding RH levels greater than 65%. The hygrometer on this dehum is off by 10% or more. As the data rolls in, i'll get it fine-tuned to a roughly 60% average based on expected temperatures. Really enjoying this run. Despite the hiccup with the humidifier wick, all the minor adjustments to improve future grows are working out well and will be incorporated going forward. Great health, nice green colours, more and more squares taken on the netting, flowering nicely progressing, I'm very happy 😁 Planning to apply more selective defoliation, especially to Xena. No changes to nutes except few extra drops of calmag just in case and will try to fill the net entirely. Week 7 Nov 27- Dec 3 Nov 27 Selective defoliation applied on Xena. 8-10 mainly small fan leaves. She is still a bit shy to open as much as her sister. No rush my girl. You still doing great! They will be all alone without any supervision so hopefully they will behave and I will be nicely surprised of their development on my return. Watered with 2tr mixture and sprayed with water and fish mix solution right after defoliation. Planning to feed them tomorrow as much possible 6-7ltr before heading off to our voyage to Amsterdam 😎 do anyone know ls if any of coffeeshops have Fastbuds strains available?
