12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/6/2024- Germination Day 12 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Day 49 from seed and we officially transplanted the girls were showing signs of nute defiency and have clearly outgrown their 1gallon veg pots. I used dynomyco for the transplant shock and will wait 48 hours before flipping into flower and placing a trellis net over the plants tucking all leaves below it. My soil mix for the first 4 weeks of flower is Dr. Earths 4-4-4 all purpose and dr earths 3-9-4 bloom 50/50 mix at 3tbsp/gallon.

Had a great week. ILGM has always been a strong grower for me. I've grown a few different strains from ILGM and they always grow very well. She went from 8 inches to 16 inches this week. I topped her about 3-4 days ago. She recovered from the topping very well and has new growth so she is doing as well as I could want. No problems to talk about this week 😀. Onto week 5.

Next week will flush plants with flavored extract and unsulfured Molasses. All is great!

Finalmente ci siamo quasi... Le strawberry banana sono state divise con due contenitori da 20L...la n° 1 (la più piccola) è in flush.. Mentre l'altra sta andando ancora con overdrive per questa settimana. Odore pazzesco, una corsa lunghissima dovuta a errori di ec per metà cultura.. Ora non si sbaglia più 😎 non vedo l'ora.

Great strain, germinated after 24h in a glass water and came out of the cocosproutpad after like one day and a half later, started a bit slow because of overwatering (extreme heatwave here) but managed to recover very well. A nice fast growing plant in vegative stage with lots of big fanleaves and a pretty bushy under area. Transferred to flowering really fast and then had a little bit of stunt in growth, I expected her bigger but this has a lot to do with my growing conditions and overall temperature and air. Buds kick in really nice and start showing frost early and thickening buds around week 4 of 5. She can handle nutrients like a boss. Not one single sign of nutrientburn throughout the entire grow. The final 4 weeks were pretty tough to keep her happy since I had a lack of light, no good airflow and lots of rain. Also bugs and some budrot but I can't blame the plant for that. She fought her way through it and delivered nice buds. Not too compact but it's an outdoor grow. After 10weeks of flowering she looked done for me. I will grow her again next year and do better. Learned a lot on my first Growdiary experience 😊 Will update with smokereport and total weight/outcome after curing. D92. At the start of week eight of flower, the girls are simply doing their thing and slowly bulking up. I gave each girl 1.25 liters of water @ pH 6.6. ------------------------------ D93. I brewed compost tea (worm castings, rock dust, kelp meal, biochar, oatmeal) and gave each girl 2.5 liters @ pH 6.6. ------------------------------ D95. Each girl got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.6 with FFJ, humic acid, and a teaspoon of Epsom salt. ------------------------------ D98. We're at the end of week eight of flower, and we're heading toward the final stretch. I guess another two to four weeks until harvest. Today, each girl got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.7. ------------------------------

Started off by setting up the growing environment and dialling everything in such as; RO Water for the RDWC hydroponic system. Water Heater being set at 20 degrees C. Water chiller being set at 21 degrees C. pH being set at 5.7/5.8 Room Temp and humidity 20/23 Degrees C / 60%/80%RH. Instead of using rockwool cubes to place my seeds, I put them directly into the clay pebbles. I then used a DIY humidity dome to place over the seeds until they make an appearance. I have been top feeding RO water every 6 hours. Foil was used to cover the net pot to ensure no light leaks were going into the system. Highly important in DWC. Will add some light nutrients once seeds are more established. Until the next one!
