Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! All most time to harvest this 🔥 yeah !!!!

After three weeks in the solo cups I transplanted to 1 gallon pots and three days later I noticed yellowing on one of the plants so in 16oz of water I mixed in 1/4 tsp of Epsom salt and gave it to both plants in fear of magnesium deficiency but the other plant is thriving and growing strong. March 17 - 24 Growth is still going very well with lots of LST and defoliation. Business as usual with nutrients and the Blumat system seems dialed in a I prepare to leave them unattended for 5 days in April. Near the end of the week I installed a second net.

They're settling in to the pots nicely and the flower tent is about to be cleared out. Need to do some work around the tent before I can move them should be a week or 2.

So far so good, we are at the 5 veg week, the hulk berry is shooting up many pre-flowers. The RO water has been great, using this clean water is much better and you see a strong difference, and you are able to dial the ppm/ec without the interference of random stuff plus the chloride and fluoride that comes with tap water in my region. This version of the Hulkberry i have is a bit more on the sensible side of things, se feels already if you keep touching her, also better not to nuke this strain with nutrients from what i have seen so far, so I’m going easy on her. The other two strains form Kannabia, one been the unstable version of Purpple Kush, got many aliens already out of some seeds, and ironically a Lucky dip, mystery strain is extreamely vigorous and nice to work with. A side from that i have chosen two HLG QB324 V2 quantum board with a Meanwell 320H-54a driver to build a DIY light, with passive Heatsink and 90 degree optics to power the flower tent, so basically i will move this plants to the other tent in a week or two when i get this build. This is a huge step up for me since i was using a generic Chinese blurple led. My setup changed a lot and i will try to keep things consistent, i may have some adaptation going on to drive all this new perpetual style grow.

I flushed the pots once this week. And use once with enhancer and a very small dose of shrot flowering fertilizer. And I tried very hard to lower the humidity and make the daytime temperature not more than 25 degrees 💐🛸👽💥1

Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants have developed well and carry hefty top buds on each side branch and also the main cola. The lower regions also carry buds, but those are a little more fluffy and not so big and dense as the top buds. In total the two plants harvested 91,3 grams. Every bud is COVERED IN TRICHOMES and the plants glisten in the light, they are FROSTY AS HELL! The plants have a STRONG AROMA now, which is sweet and peachy with hints of sandalwood. They smell ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and the dried weed carries the flavor of this aroma also in the smoke! VERY PEACHY! All in all I can only recommend this strain, its not the biggest yielder, but definitely delivers connoisseur grade weed. Hats off to Mat from House of the Great Gardener in Canada, he has made another GREAT cross and I hope he will release this variety soon! 👍😍😎.

These girls are looking amazing the sparkly glitter everywhere, they are nearly on week 5 flowering, the smell they are putting out is grape gas OG Kush with some orange peel diesel funk. ⛽️

420Fastbuds FBT2302/Week11 What up everyone. Hopefully all are having an amazing weekend. Weekly update in these two little ladies. The flowers on these have definitely swollen up more this week and starting to show some amber when looking at the trichs. They both are super frosty and smell absolutely delicious. Did take off most of the bigger fan leafs this week allowing more light to the lower flower sites before getting the chop in a couple days. All in all Happy Growing

Ms Mia Wallace went to town and blew the f up. Lots of leaf growth but no sign of bud spots- I know it’s early days tho. Watered with half serving of bloom nutes. Not the ideal nute mix I think, but served me well last grow. Also, as I turned up the light to max power, I noticed heat stress so i turned it down and successfully installed the worlds most eco friendly trellis - one minute- hockey net - next minute - weed trellis. It’s called upcycling boys and girls. I know it’s shit, I’m gonna reinstall it one more 1/4 ass so it’s a full half-ass scrog. Point is, the canopy is flat, pushed that puppy down so there’s more distance. Light back to 100%. Humidity was a little higher under the canopy, even with the dehumidifier, so I put my inline fan back in (was just a booster in-line fan before) and the temp and humidity is dropping. Saw a little bug. Hit the top & bottom canopy layer with light neem oil spray then incecticidle soap. I saw a small critter so I put Diatomaceous Earth on a upside down Tupperware lid. Don’t know if that works. Last time I did a top coat of the stuff on top of the soil - something happened and bad nute burn. Anyone know anything about this? Finally, also tied down a bunch of branches to let the light hit the lower areas. Tune in next time, where I’ll show you how to make a trellis from a pair of spandex Leggings , Peanut butter and a single streamer from the handlebars of a kids bicycle. Keep your buds green, and your grow room clean.
