Ghost Train Haze — Week 1 Report Folder #7 | “Catching the Ghost Train” Station One: Emergence The Ghost Train has arrived at its first station, and all passengers are present. For this run, we are currently keeping three seeds, all showing very similar early expressions. Uniformity is strong at this stage, with no clear standout yet — a promising sign of genetic consistency. ⸻ Medium & Container Setup Unlike the rest of the room, or half of it, Ghost Train Haze is running a slightly different container strategy: • Inner pots: Plastic pots • Outer pots (optional / future): • 15-liter outer pots • Filled with Plagron soil At this moment, the plants are not yet connected to the outer pots. The system is ready, but the decision is still open. There are more outer pots available than reservoir connections, which opens up a few possible paths forward: • Permanent selection of which plants get connected • Rotational system (one week one plant, next week another) • Or keeping them independent for now and deciding later This flexibility is intentional — no rush, no forced decisions at Station One. ⸻ Growth & Early Behavior All three seedlings are: • Very similar in structure • Slightly stretchy, but still healthy and elegant • Upright, responsive, and visually balanced The stretch is within reason and fits the Ghost Train character — reaching forward, eager to move. No weakness, no instability, just early momentum. Leaf color is clean, stems are holding well, and overall posture shows good adaptation to the environment. ⸻ Environmental Conditions Conditions remain identical to the rest of the room: • Same light cycle • Same environment • Same airflow • Same feeding philosophy No exceptions, no special treatment — the only variable here is container strategy, by design. ⸻ What to Expect Next (Next Stations) • Slight reduction in stretch as root mass increases • Clearer individual expression between the three plants • Decision window opening regarding outer pot connections • Increased leaf development and node definition What Not to Expect (Yet) • No heavy feeding • No aggressive training • No final container decisions just yet ⸻ Final Notes — Station One This first station is all about arrival, assessment, and options. The Ghost Train Haze seedlings are healthy, aligned, and ready for the journey ahead. The track is laid, the switches are visible, and the destination will reveal itself in time. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Original sensible seeds Girl scout coookies 27th Jan 2020 No preflowers on her that I can spot , but she is starting to stretch a little. She is a funny structured plant . Has long branches but doesn't seem to have a lot of foliar coverage. It almost has a skeletonal look to it . But if those branches form into buds I dont really care how she looks to be honest. Stem rubbing releases a very pungeant aroma that gives me hope of some Good Shit coming . This week I decided to give her the same cup full of Bud and bloom soil amendment as the already flowering girls received as I'm sure it won't be too far behind them. I also gave her some of the High tea i brewed up for 24hours. Checked Ph with the bluelab soil probe and it's still sitting on 6.5 so no worries there. Thanks for checking in on my update Catch ya next week. 👍

Week 7 of flower in the books and we’ve had to adjust to the height issues in an attempt to salvage what we can of the largest mains on the cheese. Really should’ve done this 2 weeks ago and while it’d be preferable not to supercrop this late in flower - there really wasn’t a choice. It was done early in the week and the plant is none the worse for wear. On the whole, the nute burn issue has been rectified and while the damage isn’t massive, it’s still really obvious. For all the above reasons, We’re really not going to get that late flower look with this plant. Kinda sad there. Otherwise, the plants have begun to colour up and were quickly coming in to the harvest window. At this rate it looks like the gorilla cookies and cherry Bomb will go off first, with the cheese to follow and the lemon haze last. The GC is absolutely covered in trichs. We expect a great finish for this one. She’s unlike any pheno I’ve seen on here - ducksfooted with a pineapple shape to her heads but again, got it where it counts. The cherry Bomb is similar but also true to her description - huge cherry diesel scent coming off this plant. She’s chunky and sticky too so very pleased she’s made something of herself. The lemon haze is developing And rounding out slower. Trich production is moderate and I suspect she’s got a week longer than the rest. We’re getting there - maybe a week to 10 days. Almost time for jazz hands👍😎. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Website link here: https://www.mars-hydro.com/grow-tent/buy-mars-hydro-grow-tent-24x48x70-2-x-4-cabinet-closet-grow-box-upgraded-diamond-1680d-mylar-for-sale ViparSpectra 240w Quantum Board: This thing is sleek and slick in terms of design. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Permanent Marker has taken to the FIM last week. Looking nice and healthy, again a slight Nitrogen excess. Which will resolve itself without intervention. Provided no N is added into the nutrient soloution. I am actually considering super cropping the main stem on this one. Let's see next week how we are looking then. Here's what I did this week. Here is what I did this week. 12.9.25: I watered with 1L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 2ml Trace 💜 2ml Flourish PH: 6.5 PPM: 335 The fungus gnats have really incresed since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. Thank you for checking in this week, I'm very much looking forward to how she turns out. Sounds like a banger. See you in the comments 😁💚✌️🧡👌

I highly recommend LST and topping the plant at least 2 weeks prior to flower. This strain reacts very well to it and getting an even canopy of big frosty buds is great. I must say that in the past 2 weeks the smell has become very steong. Be sure to seal whatever air leak you have in your flower space if you are concerned about smell. I use a 6 inch AC infinity long filter and it handles the 2 plants decently. As soon as you open the door to the flower side a wall of fruity-ish smell hits you. The resin production is amazing. I have never had a plant produce so much.

Lst went well. She was nice and bendy. Very healthy girl with lots to give. Gave her a top dressing of charge for the upcoming weeks of vigorous training. Topped her the day after. Was a bit daunting as I have never topped before. Went well, and topped on the 5th node. Looking forward to the next week of growth and training before I scrog for the first time as well.

Dropped hours to 17 to get closer to the 15 we will have outside in a few weeks. A week of battles for this tent. Lotta pest activity. Bulb mites and Nematodes (never going to have regular perennial flowers and dahlia bulbs in the tent again), lessons learned. Active pest strategies tried: - listerine / water soak - Neem oil / water soak - Dr. Bronner soap / water soak - worm castings to boost balanced microbial life - insect Frass to provide chitin - diatomaceous earth top dress - mosquito Dunks prior to organic amendments to deal with any eggs/larvae in soil

Great performance so far, few fox tails but I have reduced light intensity and increased air flow so have seen an improvement. Lots of white hairs for flowering still, looks like it will be a big plant and a good growth. Looking forward to see next week's growth!

Hello there, it's just 70 days of girls' lives. As you can see the plants are doing well. They welcomed the extra HPS 250watt lamp, the overall temperature went up and the humidity dropped to 40% in the day. After rinsing the plants I intend to reduce the overall dose of BioBizz fertilizers and use the last time PK 13/14.

Hey everyone 🤗. This week they both continued to develop very well. Flowering day 42 Today the tent was cleaned, the humidifier refilled and the plants sprayed with Canna Cure :-). Flowering day 43 The plant was watered today with 1.2 L 🙂. They were also checked for their health and pests 👍. Everything looks great 🙏🏻. Flowering day 44 Again the tent was cleaned and fresh osmosis water was filled into canisters. Flowering day 45 Today 1.5 l per pot was poured so that some drainage comes out again. therefor two days are not poured 😋. Flowering day 46 The tent was cleaned, the humidifier was filled, the plant was checked for vitality and the entire electronics were checked for functionality. Flowering day 47 Today she was sprayed again with Canna Cure and checked. Flowering day 48 We got to the last day of this week and 1.2 L were poured again and the tent was cleaned 👍.
