Love Diesel? Then hop aboard Ghost Train Haze—a powerful strain engine (pun intended) that guarantees the trip of a lifetime. Bred from Ghost OG and Nevil's Wreck, this powerful sativa produces rock-hard flowers riddled with dense trichomes, dank haze and diesel terps, and up to 25% THC for a potent, uplifting high. Thanks to her solid genetics, this marvellous hybrid performs well indoors, outdoors, and even in greenhouses, making her a must-have for any sativa lover's garden. True to their Haze ancestors, Ghost Train Haze seeds produce vigorous plants with large, bright green leaves that stretch notably as they shift into bloom. Expect mature plants to reach 150‒200 cm (5‒6.5 ft) depending on how and where they are grown. Thanks to her strong genetics, Ghost Train Haze responds well to a variety of training techniques, which can help to both control her height and improve her yields. Harvest indoor plants after 11–12 weeks of bloom time, while outdoor plants can get the chop around the end of October. In optimal conditions, this Diesel Haze queen can yield up to 500 g/m² (17.5 oz/yd²) indoors and 600 g/plant (21 oz/plant) outside. Come harvest time, Ghost Train Haze will delight even the pickiest smokers with her dense and dank flower—expect large, bright green buds with bulging calyxes and a frosty, white cover of resinous trichomes. True to her name, Ghost Train Haze boasts rich fuel aromas mixed with the sweet, fruity citrus hints and the strong peppery finish that characterises Haze varieties. Like any good sativa should, Ghost Train Haze will get you right behind the eyes after a single toke, elevating your mind and leaving you in a blissful, clear-headed, creative daze that lasts for hours before settling you back down gently.

Ghost Train Haze (Zamnesia) is, in my experience, a very potent and flavorful Sativa-dominant strain that shows a sensitive behavior towards environmental factors. Over a total of five plants in two growing cycles, I observed that they repeatedly tended to hermaphrodite in my setup, even under generally stable conditions. The strain apparently reacts sensitively to changes in light intensity, temperature, and humidity. Despite the hermaphroditism issue, the growth behavior, stretch, flowering time, and effects largely matched the breeder's specifications. The final product impressed with a strong, clear Sativa high and an overall high-quality terpene profile. For experienced growers, it is certainly interesting, but due to its increased susceptibility to stress, it is not necessarily the easiest strain to cultivate.

Ghost Train Haze — Strain Review “Some strains get remembered. Some strains leave a mark.” Rating: 13/10 Yes. We know. That makes absolutely no sense mathematically. And honestly? We don’t care. Because this Ghost Train Haze earned every extra point. ⸻ The Grow From the very beginning, this cultivar felt alive in a special way. Fast growth. Aggressive vigor. Beautiful structure. Constant energy. Even under a relatively simple: * 12/12 from seed * low-intervention * minimal training approach she still exploded into a massive plant with long spears, stacked flowers, and serious production. And despite the sativa influence, she surprised us heavily with: * density * weight * resin production * and overall flower quality This wasn’t one of those “looks amazing but feels airy” plants. No. These flowers came out: * compact * heavy * sticky * greasy * loud * and properly frosted Every trimming session felt like handling sugar-coated diesel-covered rocks. ⸻ Frost & Resin Production Absolutely ridiculous. Honestly one of the frostiest plants in the room. The kind of flower where: * scissors stop working after minutes * gloves turn black with resin * and the trim bin starts collecting trichomes almost immediately Even after trimming, the amount of loose resin collected naturally was impressive enough to turn into beautiful smokeable hash without even trying too hard. The flower itself shines under light like it was dusted with crystal. Pure trichome coverage. ⸻ Aroma & Terpene Profile This is where Ghost Train Haze became unforgettable. Opening Notes: * Lemon peel * Tangerine * Sharp citrus zest Then underneath: * diesel * gas * earthy spice * almost pepper-like warmth on the exhale The inhale is bright and citrus-forward. The exhale becomes deeper, warmer, slightly spicy, and lingering. Very layered. Very expressive. Very “alive.” One of those terpene profiles that keeps making you smell the jar again and again for no reason other than: “Wait… what exactly is that note?” ⸻ Smoke Quality Excellent. Smooth despite intensity. Flavorful all the way through. Expands beautifully in the lungs without feeling harsh. The ash burned clean. The flower grinds perfectly. Joint texture stays fluffy while still resin-heavy. And the taste remains recognizable from start to finish. That’s something we always appreciate. Some strains smell amazing but disappear after ignition. This one keeps speaking all the way through the session. ⸻ Effects This is where Ghost Train Haze truly shines. The effect feels: * uplifting * euphoric * creative * energetic * social * mentally stimulating * long-lasting This is not couch-lock medicine. This is: * editing music at 2AM medicine * deep conversation medicine * creative session medicine * “let’s build something” medicine One of those cultivars that makes the world feel brighter without making the mind feel chaotic. The balance is beautiful. Strong enough to absolutely hit hard… but still functional and inspiring when respected properly. And yes: if you push too far, she will humble you. Especially in extract form. ⸻ Ice Water Hash Performance Interestingly, the flower quality translated beautifully into flavor for extraction… but not necessarily into massive washing returns. Which became a fascinating learning experience. The little resin we collected, however, turned into: * sandy * bubbling * melty * terpene-rich gold dust And the flavor? Almost identical to the flower itself. Just amplified. Like Ghost Train Haze concentrated into pure essence. ⸻ Overall Experience Honestly? This is one of those cultivars that reminds us why we love growing in the first place. Not because it was perfect. Not because it broke records. But because it had personality. It felt unique. Recognizable. Memorable. The kind of plant you remember months later. The kind of jar you keep reopening just to smell it again. The kind of smoke that becomes attached to moments, conversations, editing nights, music sessions, and memories. ⸻ Final Verdict Ghost Train Haze gets: 13/10 Because sometimes a strain goes beyond numbers. This one gave us: * massive flowers * incredible resin * uplifting effects * beautiful terpenes * amazing smoke * and a full experience from seed to cure that genuinely stayed exciting the entire way through Would we grow her again? Absolutely. Would we recommend her? Without hesitation. Would we keep her? If we were hunting keepers right now… 100%. ⸻ Ghost Train Haze Loud. Frosty. Energetic. Memorable. A proper train ride.
